Colette Dominique

Dr Colette Dominique has the worst bedside manners. She is rude and dismissive. Then to make matters worse she stood at the nurses stand making fun of my daughter. We heard every word. Completely unprofessional. Would never recommend Ochsner Baptist to anyone that is pregnant.

My niece went to get checked because she was having burn pains in her lower stomach and contractions. She is 34 weeks pregnant and has a history of preterm pregnancies. Dr. Colette Dominique was abrasive and had zero bedside manners. She made fun of my niece because she refused to be checked a second time with in an hour of being checked. Her uterus was already irritated. Dr. Dominique stated that she was not in active labor but wanted to check her again. The unprofessionalism presented by Dr. Dominique is completely unacceptable. Absolutely awful. Truly, no bedside manner, was very dismissive. Acted as if I was just going in for the fun of it. I’m typically one who tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was having a rough day, but she was so extremely rude on two different occasions, to the point that I was in so much pain but asked to be discharged if I had to deal with her again.

Since the day I first walked in her office, Dominique was amazing. Her knowledge of her field is undeniable. She continues to train and take the necessary classes to keep her a leader in her field. I just recently found out she relocated and guess who will be flying from Cali to her new office...me. I will go wherever she is. That is how much I value her as my Doctor.

Worst doctor ever! She is rude, unprofessional, never keeps time, was talking about another patient’s records.

I visit her and deliver my last baby with her when she was in Irving, Texas. She had mood problems, was rude, had no communication and was so mean. Made me have the worst experience, I am glad she is no longer in that clinic. I had a c- section the way she pulled my baby out was ridiculously ugly! I had a huge bump on my left side of the incision, she immediately order a sonogram thinking she probably left an instrument inside me. The way I was treated wasn’t right, she added more to the situation I was in that time. I always wonder how would she be working with pregnant women and with a horrible attitude!

I have been coming to se Dr. Dominique for 15yrs, she has seen me for my pregnancies normal to more high risk. I have seen her for normal check ups and any concerns I have had, I have always felt that she was very clear in explaining diagnosis and keeping me informed of any changes or concerns. I haven’t stayed with her and her office because I am used to it and don’t want to change but because I always felt taken care of, from the moment I made my appointments to leaving her office.

Save yourself the trouble. She lacks compassion and empathy. She spends ruffly 5 mins during a visit with you. Her assistant is extremely hard to reach and they take a while to get in touch with you.

I wouldn't recommend her to anyone! She is not timely and understanding. I waited for over an hour for a procedure. She found several excuses not to see. She is very mean and unkind.

She was very unprofessional towards me. She made inappropriate comments about my body and remarked that I was shy talking about my care down there due to my Asian culture. What??? The exam was highly traumatic for me and her uncaring attitude and comments about my culture certainly did not help my already vulnerable state. Her assistant ruby is very sweet, but I’d never see Dr. Dominique again.

She's only in the room for maybe 15 mins and that was the worst 15 mins that I wasted with this doctor who simply did not have a care in the world about my concerns. I've never been to a doctor that had insulted my intelligence, the last time I checked a patient's pain level is what they feel not what the provider feel you should feel. and to be told if you felt that bad like you claimed you did you would have gone to the emergency, she did not listen to anything I had said. I visited Dr. Dominique as a referrel and I will not be going back. First, it does take over 2 hours to see the doctor and once you see her get ready for a rude, crude and dismissive professional. The office staff is just as unprofessional and unhelpful. I should have know there was going to be an issue when I couldn't locate the office right away. The walls are paper thin so when she is discussing your condition it feels as if your business is being discussed with avid audience.

Dr. Dominique has been great. She has found the reason for conditions I had been suffering from for years that my prior doctor just shrugged off. She is direct, explains everything extremely well, and listens.

Dr. Colette Dominique is informative and always reliable. Never a long wait time for her service and her staff is fantastic.

Amazing Doctor, first time mommy. Dr. Dominique is very helpful and answers all my questions and concerns. Didn't know what I was looking for in a Dr. and she's definitely it!!! I feel really comfortable with her. Gives me great advise on anything I'm concerned about and haven't doubted her yet. She explains everything to me to a understanding point about what to do or whats going on. Best Dr. I HIGHLY recommend her!

I wouldn't see Dr Dominique again if she were the last doctor on earth. She was rude and dismissive and obviously didn't care about my pain or issues. I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor in my entire life. She actually said because I'm Caucasian that my fibroids are nothing to worry about and had no immediate solution on how to handle the pain. Seeing her was an awful, awful experience.

This doctor is very unproffesional she is always late. Keeps us waiting for more than 2 hours even when my wife is 38 weeks pregnant. Please do nit

I have been going to Dr. Dominique for about 7 years now and I couldn't imagine anyone else delivering my first child!! When I found out that I was pregnant (5 months ago) I knew right away that I would be in good hands. Dominique is probably the most realist Dr I have been too. She will tell you how it is and will not sugar coat anything. She takes the time to go over your results and any questions you may have and always puts your mind at ease when you assume the worst. I am totally satisfied!

After deciding to pick Dr. Dominique was my best choice! I love seeing her she is honest and informative. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. Every time I have an appointment she asks if I have any questions or concerns and she takes her time giving me answers that best fits me.

Dr. Dominique and the staff at MacArthur Obgyn are wonderful! I always feel at ease and there is never a wait time to see my doctor!

I came for an issue that I've been to the ER twice for. She completely sidestepped the issue, mostly because of my age, which is irrelevant because I have an endocrinological disorder. She spent most of the time trying to push birth control as a lone treatment for my PCOS, this alone does not treat PCOS! My hormone levels are balanced thanks to my other Dr treating me. She lied about why I should take it, thankfully I know my disorder well. And I'm still in pain, waste of time and money.

I researched her and took reviews into consideration, she is worth every star plus more.

Worst experience with this doctor. She's very robotic and uncaring. I felt like a number and a burden on her time. On every appointment I had to wait over an hr to see her. I had a birth plan requesting no pitocin or episiotomy and both requests were completely ignored. She used a vacuum on my son's head because it was time for her to go home and he wasn't coming out in time. It made me question the whole medical industry. I'm finally able to forgive you after 9 years. God save your soul

Dr. Dominique has been great OB/GYN! She delivered my 1st born and had a wonderful experience, made me feel very comfortable with her and now she will be delivering my next baby. She always answers any questions or doubts you have. Her nurses are quick to return your call or to give you lab results, very nice nurses. Would highly recommend her! -Carla Gonzalez-

I have been seeing Dr. Dominique for 8 years and have had 1 child under her care and am currently expecting with my second child while in her care. She is very open for any discussion/questions and is very easy to talk to and understand. With my first child (3 years ago) the office was very busy so I was not able to see her very much, I saw the midwife (also great!), but this time I have seen Dr. Dominique every visit and it has made the experience much more pleasurable! Great OB/GYN DR!

Dr. Dominique has been my Ob/Gyn for the past 9 years! She's the best. She's so down to earth and very relatable. She listens and answers all my questions thoughtfully and professionally!

I have been seeing Dr. Dominique for about 3 years now. I am currently pregnant with my first baby. It has been a great experience. She is thorough and has taken every precaution since I am consider a high risk pregnancy.

My appointment was at 12:30pm, I arrived at 12:10pm, I was waiting from 12:10pm to 1:00pm in the lobby then they made me wait in the exam room for another 50min. then Dr. Show up with a very bad attitude and doesn't want to listen to what I had and complaining about not having her lunch so she can give her patients decent time, but what happened is she only spent 5 minutes with me and asked me for another appointment after two weeks.

Dr. Dominique has been my gynecologist for several years now. She has helped me through many issues and concerns. I am now a mommy to be and she continues to be my doctor. Although the office can get pretty busy and appointments need to be made well in advance to secure a spot, I have always had great service at MacArthur OB/GYN. The office is very clean, the staff is extremely responsive, and they even offer child birthing classes!

I have been going to her since i was 15. She's very informative. Five years later and I'm now going through my first pregnancy. She does an amazing job making sure any questions/concerns don't go unanswered. She has made me feel comfortable throughout the entire thing. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Fort Worth area. Her medical assistant also does an awesome job answering any questions and does call backs fairly quickly.

My overall experience with Dr. Dominique was very good. The staff is nice and friendly. My visits are in and out which is great since I am a busy mom on the go. I would definitely recommend anyone who is expecting to come in and see Dr. Dominique!!!!

It was a very unpleasant experience. I waited at the exam room for about an hour and when the so called doctor Dominique arrived she was very rude and unprofessional I cried for the annual exam it should not have hurt. And she was condescending, not listening. And on top of that now they are billing my insurance for a physical exam which they did not do. It has been very time consuming and frustrating on my end. Please DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR.

I've been seeing Dr. Dominique for more than 7 years and through out all this years I cannot complain. She has been been very helpful with all my questions and concerns. I am seeing her now through my first pregnancy and she has been great, she continues to answer al my questions as silly as they may seem and she makes me feel comfortable.

Pregnant mommy experience! I read the reviews before I visit Dr Dominique. Her ratings are outstanding, however my visits have been nothing of that magnitude. I have been to the Drs office 6 times and saw Dr Dominique twice. The communication level is VERY non existent. It is always packed in both waiting areas. My last visit was at 10:20am and I didn't leave until 1pm. I can't rate Dr Dominique personally because our visits are lack of. However the staff members are very pleasant. See yourself!

BEST OBGYN !!! My first time here in Texas and the staff of MacArthur OBGYN has made it the best experience ever. And my Dr Dominique is the best i have had no problems with her or with the staff. I highly recommend MacArthur obgyn.

I just love Dr. Dominique shes amazing at what she does. she was my first dr that delivered my son and now shes going to deliver my little girl. Her personality is great shes really friendly and never has you waiting long. love my DR :)
