Dr. Clifford Seward, MD is an outstandingly patient Ophthalmologist. I have never know of any Doctor who is so meticulously caring with such precise execution of his medical duties. Given the multiple complexities of the eyes and related complications that are eminently present; only an experienced professional is capable of quality results. In addition to his expertise, his office is equipped with the technology to yield accurate results along with his superb customer oriented exceptional demeanor. I am very unhappy with Dr. Seward. The wait time is unacceptable and should not be tolerated by anyone. He so so, so slow. I have NEVER waited 2 hours to see a doctor, never. He is a nice doctor but he doesn’t care about time. I had cataract surgery and went for a follow up today and left after waiting almost 2 hours. I will never go back to him. I would never recommend anyone to visit this eye doctor at all. Dr Seward is the SLOWEST & whenever you go to visit him. I don’t understand how they want you to make an appointment to see them & whenever you’re on time you have to sit another 2hours in the room just to get taken care of. That is absolutely absurd! I've been going to Dr. Seward for over 20 years. He diagnosed my conditions correctly. I have had great results under his care.

Dr Seward did a great job in taking care of my optical needs. I had to have cataract surgery and I felt safe and confident in Dr Seward's knowledge and expertise. I'm glad to say that everything turned out great!

Dr. Seward is very professional and courteous. I have been a patient for many years. I am very pleased with the level of care I receive from him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Seward for approx 14 yrs after being diagnosed with diabetes. He is a superb opthamalogist and is very thorough with his examinations to make sure my diabetes is accurately evaluated. Dr Seward office has state of the art equipment that gives you the highest level of confidence in his diagnosis. I strongly recommend him as an opthamalogist! Dr Clifford Seward is a very good ophthalmologist...as a result his services are in high demand . The most common complaint I heard..and experienced...was the waiting time. Still his office...is full of patients! Reason being..he listen to his patients concerns...and answer all questions to the satisfaction of the patient. His greatest asset...is putting his patient..at ease. Recently he removed cataracts from both eyes..Thank you. If I could give a -0 I would!!!! appointment was at 11 am wasn't seen until 2:30 pm. Maybe I saw the wrong dr. Seward or something is his name. Extra charges added when I was checking out! I called back to speak with the doctor and was told he would call me back by the end of the day. That was over a week ago! I called and was told "I talked to the doctor for you " . Really! She can't speak for me. Long story short, I never spoke with him! I will NEVER go back to this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called to request a same day appointment for an eye issue. It was shortly after their open time and was told by the female who answered, "um I don't know yet. We just got here and I haven't even logged into my system." We sat in silence for about 3 seconds because I was not sure whether she was expecting me to hang up and call back. Excellent, professional, and attentive service.

Both my mother and I see Dr. Seward. He is an exceptional physician and his staff are very warm and friendly. Dr. Seward performed both cataract surgeries for my mom who is 90 years old. He provides the level of care that I demand for my most precious family member.

I’ve been going to Dr. Seward for 3 years now! The best optometrist experiences ever! Dr. Seward and his staff are absolutely amazing! Every time I visit for various eye concerns, his staff have demonstrated professionalism and personalized attention! Dr. Seward is fantastic both in his medical practice and patient care! Yesterday, I took my 11-year-old daughter for the first time and I was totally impressed how quickly he calmed her nervousness and listened very attentively to her concerns and provided her professional medical attention in a child-friendly way! Completely unprofessional. Had me waiting for over 2 hours. Claimed he would have my prescription called in, went to the pharmacy an hour later and it was not there. I've made two calls to his after hour line and he has not returned my calls. I will never give this pathetic excuse for a doctor my business again. BEWARE!

BEWARE: This doctors office is TERRIBLE!!!!!!! The “doctor”, who looks like an alcoholic, is extremely rude and disrespectful. He has no business operating this office looking the way he does or addressing patients in the manner in which I was addressed today. I am an avid review reader. Prior to visiting any new establishment I do my research but unfortunately, this office only had one five star review. My mistake for giving it the benefit of the doubt! Let me start from the beginning. I walked into the office which is located in a big office building attached to a hospital on the 3rd floor. The receptionist was on the phone behind the see through glass window. There is no sign in sheet so I did not know if I should stand there and wait or sit down with it being my first time. I waited maybe 1 minute and I was given no instructions nor was I acknowledged, so I sat. After maybe five minutes she opens the glass and asked me if I was checking in. No apologies, nothing! I was annoyed immediately. However, she ended up being nice and very helpful. Maybe this is what she was trained to do by the “doctor”. So after 15 minutes I am called to the back by Debra, the nurse, the ONLY good thing about this office. Everything went well with her. She asked all of the preliminary questions and led me to the exam room. She was awesome. I began to feel a little better because I was becoming apprehensive about my choice in a new eye doctor. Okay so now...I am sitting in the exam room waiting to be seen by the “doctor”. AN HOUR AND A HALF GOES BY...no one came in to the room to say anything to me, no doctor, nothing! I then chose to leave. As I am walking out of the room to leave because that is an extremely long time to be waiting for the “doctor”, I see Debra coming towards me. I tell her that I am leaving because it has taken so long. She looks shocked that I had not been seen yet and asked if I wanted her to see what he was doing. I tell her no that I just wanted my copay returned and a letter for my insurance just in case they attempted to bill me because now...I would need to find another eye doctor and schedule another appointment. She directs me to the front and goes to see what took the doctor so long as a courtesy. He comes to the front and says “are you sure you don’t want to be seen? I was about to go in there just now”...in a not so friendly tone. I said no, I’m good thanks. The receptionist tells him that I am requesting a letter for my insurance because I was not seen. The “doctor” then VERY NASTILY and slightly yells, “SHE WAS NOT SEEN BECAUSE SHE CHOSE NOT TO BE SEEN, SHE’S CHOOSING TO LEAVE!” I will not argue with a grown man, more importantly, someone who is supposed to be a proven professional, so I chose to ignore him but I could then overhear the nurse tell him that he should not behave like that towards a patient. He then says, “go ahead and give her the letter” and walks away. There were 2 elderly patients in the office who clearly heard him. He did not care. This man is rude and nasty and unkempt! Do not waste your TIME. I spent 2hrs here and was disrespected and left completely unhappy. I do not understand why I was treated this way but I will say this, I am extremely happy that this man did not get the opportunity to provide me with any kind of medical care. Only the Lord knows what he was doing in his office for all of that time that I was waiting. Smh...he may be the type to respond to this review nastily as well. Let’s all pay attention. The wait time is way too long and too many appointments to accomplish what could be done in no more than two. Too much down time in between processes. Definitely could be more efficient and considerate of his patients' time. Been here 4 times just for an annual exam and contact fitting, with a total of more than 10hrs spent here over the 4 visits. Too much time for a routine eye exam and contact fitting. Will not return for my next annual visit. It is ashame, because the staff is very personable and I wanted to support an eye doctor in my area. The wait time is way too long and too many appointments to accomplish what could be done in no more than two. Too much down time in between processes. First the medical assistance was very unfriendly, never a smile. After she finished with me she stuck me in a room and said that the doctor will be in shortly. She closed the door and left me there for an hour and a half. No one never came back to say anything. I left out and asked the receptionist was there a problem? I didn't see anyone else to ask. I told her that I had been setting back there for an hour and a half and no one came to say a word to me. She apologized and got help.

I will never recommend this dr. to anyone. Everyone I have had an appointment it's been at least a 2 hour wait. So unprofessional, waiting room full to capacity and at least a 2hr wait....jeez I do have a life !

Doctor is great and very professional. Only problem is it takes waaaaayyy too long. Over 4 hours. Too much down time.

I waited in this office for two hours without seeing a doctor. Run, don't walk to another eye doctor. This office is a disgrace to the medical profession. I would never go here again, I wouldn't even take a blind person to this man's office.
