Unprofessional
He’s rude, arrogant and didn’t even look at my xrays or any mri. His assistant took info from me...for what. Who the hell is Fr Schob to tell me my back problem has nothing with my fall? Worst doctor.
I been in so many surgeries ,and they be not good like Dr Schob did to my shoulder ,he was very professional he explain to me everything what he is going to do from day one,and also all his staff they are great ,very nice people a lot of respect . God Bless all them.
My experience was terrifying. Arrogant, unprofessional, insensitive. Wouldn’t send my dog.
I know people are quick to bad mouth the worker’s comp doctors who are perceived to be ‘working for the other side’, but for once I was fortunate to meet a doctor who was the complete polar opposite of that description. I was injured on the job in February 2017 and was already paid by the worker’s comp system so in 2019/2020, so I did not expect anyone to take the newest claim of pain that would not resolve and kept becoming progressively worse seriously. In April 2019, my injury must’ve reached that breaking point and an already uncomfortable shoulder became a nightmare of some degree of varying ache 24 hours a day. I was miserable, not sleeping, swollen at times and generally a drag to be around. When my lawyer reopened the case, I was paper pushed around the system not being taken seriously until they sent me to Dr. Clifford Schob. I researched Dr. Schob prior to being seen and he gets stellar references as a doctor on general principal. He ordered me an MRI & when I returned with m
I know people are quick to bad mouth the workerâs comp doctors who are perceived to be âworking for the other sideâ, but for once I was fortunate to meet a doctor who was the complete polar opposite of that description. I was injured on the job in February 2017 and was already paid by the workerâs comp system so in 2019/2020, so I did not expect anyone to take the newest claim of pain that would not resolve and kept becoming progressively worse seriously. In April 2019, my injury mustâve reached that breaking point and an already uncomfortable shoulder became a nightmare of some degree of varying ache 24 hours a day. He ordered me an MRI & when I returned with my report & disc, he immediately left the room. Confused, I asked his assistant what was happening. He entered the room and stated, âIâve just taken over your workerâs comp claimâ. His assistant stated after heâd left the room again, âDr. Schob has a way of getting things done, the workerâs comp guys listen to himâ. Boy, she wasnât kidding! He had mentioned I had moderate arthritis & bursitis in my shoulder which was causing the pain. He suggested an operation was the way to alleviate the issue. Of course, there was bureaucratic red tape to cut to get from the office to the operating room, but his office would not back down until the surgery room was booked. It was literally 2 weeks between the visit and the surgery. Nicole, his surgery scheduler, kept me informed every step of the way. We hit obstacles and she vehemently fought to get it done. The surgery was supposed to be a half hour, but my injury was a bit more severe than the MRI showed and he was in for 2 hours I believe he told me. He said there was a lot of damage clean out of the shoulder socket and shave down the bone to stop the constant rub that caused the pain. Dr. Schob has this positive vibe to him that he is certain he can fix it but its not a God complex that some doctors have. Itâs absolutely refreshing! He appears to be a happy person to begin with, but that attitude goes a long way for people whoâve been in constant pain for a long time who are beginning to lose hope that the pain theyâre in is their new normal. Surgery wasnât the most fun Iâve ever had, but itâs surgery, it isnât supposed to be. He made sure I was comfortable immediately following the operation. Physical therapy is only as good as the work YOU put into it, so I went hard. Not fun but my range on motion is tenfold better than it had been for nearly three years. He seemed elated by that. Tell me what person unrelated to you is ELATED at your progress? Dr. Schob was! It was amazing to know there was light at the end of a very dark long tunnel. Itâs nice to know that the pain I feel now is intermittent, depends on temperature or rain and is temporary and minimal at best and is now solved by an ibuprofen and not a pain pill. When those factors arenât present, my arm is no longer an interference in my day. More than one person has noticed a change in my face (as silly as that sounds) that I donât have that pensive anticipation of pain look on my face anymore. I hope and pray you are fortunate to be referred to Dr. Schob as your workerâs comp doctor! Walk into the room with an open mind because this is the guy who is going to take you seriously and go out of his way to get you back to the best version of yourself and be happy for you feeling better.
Worst doctor I ever went too and I’m over 50 years old. Cursory exam and dismissal, waited an hour filled out tons of paperwork , interviewed by his assistant who entered all information into computer for nothing. Dr. Comes in for a minute , doesn’t review information or ask questions of me and looks at video , taps me knees and states that none of my issues are from accident and says he can’t help me. What a clown. Please get someone else if you can or better yet get a lawyer before you see the worker’s compensation doctor.
All the negative reviews of this doctor are appropriate. Dr. Schob is ARROGANT, condescending and rude. His exam was cursory. He did not listen to anything I had to say or pay any attention to the radiologist's report that I supplied. I only saw him due to a worker's comp claim and would not recommend him to anyone. I will definitely seek the opinion of another orthopedic doctor.
doctor is the worse doctor I went girl on phone is a lair when you ask if you confirm she lies about it never again looks it you for 2 minutes and thinks he knows what wrong with you he should be revoked
This so-called dr is nothing but a joke. He is arrogant, self-righteous, and egotistical. His staff. especially his nurse likes to sit around, bs about survivor all day long.

In my opinion, he is one of the worst physicians I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. He was insulting and pompous. His idea of an "exam" was as minimal as one can possibly imagine. He didn't ask appropriate questions and was not thorough, by any stretch of the imagination. I also had to wait two and one half hours to ultimately be insulted. His recommendations for treatment were actually contrary to current recommended best practice. Hopefully he will retire soon! Stay away!!!

Dr.Schob is absolutely amazing. I went to him for a workers comp appointments and he treated me doc nicely. took his time with me every appointment and was always so friendly and caring to me. The office staff was also so incredibly friendly to me. Everyone remebered me and always said hello and made me feel special. I would high recommend Dr Schob to anyone seeking an orthopedic surgeon! Dr. Schob and everyone at Comprehensive Orthopedics have been simply amazing leading up to, through and following my knee surgeries. I cannot possibly express my gratitude for their warmth, professionalism and expertise. I have always felt most welcomed upon arrival to my appointments, with little or no wait time to be seen. Dr. Schob always took the time to answer my questions and to explain each and every step in terms that were not only easy to understand but also very encouraging.

Great service, very informative and healing. I look forward to my next visit!
Dr. Schob and his staff handled my initial complaint -- a torn quadriceps tendon -- and a subsequent infection (inexplicably showing up three months after surgery) -- with a balance of alert attention, caution and compassion. Dr. Schob visited me in hospital, making sure the infection was controlled, and that his original repair was intact. Within two months, my recovery has already exceeded his expectations; I feel this is due to his skill, insight and wisdom in treating such injuries.
I had a great experience with Dr. Schob and his staff. I broke my ankle just before a holiday weekend. Office was very accommodating and was able to see me even though it was late on a Friday afternoon. I found Dr. Schob to be very professional and informative with a great personality. He was very easy to talk to, I was able to ask questions & I felt he genuinely cared. I never felt rushed during my appointments.
