Dr. Barhorst takes the time to discuss everything you have going on with you. You never feel like he is in a hurry, or too busy to see you. He obviously cares about his patients. He really knows what he is doing. He does in-office procedures and is very good at what he does. I HIGHLY recommend him.

I saw Dr Clayton for the first time this week. His office is extremely cleaned and the staff are great. He doesn't talk to you in words you don't understand and explains every last detail so you know what his plan is on helping you with pain. He is an hour away but well worth the drive to see him. I have had back pain for many years but this Dr explained to me all the procedures I had done by another Dr I wasn't fully aware of. I have not drove my car or been very active because of my pain. I feel now I have someone who listens and explains every little detail in how he can help. He has given me hope back to where I can start enjoying life and my grandkids again. Dr. Barhorst is very thorough and listens to his patients. Best Pain Mgmt doc I’ve seen in years!

I am thankful for Dr. Barhorst. He is the first doctor in a very long time that has taken the time to really listen to me and understand the source of my pain and then treat it. He is kind and compassionate, and you can tell he really cares about helping his patients. It is refreshing to see a young doctor care so much. Great father-son team!

If you struggle with chronic pain, find another doctor, fast! Unless you are a post-op patient needing pain management, he is the doctor for you; otherwise, all CHRONIC pain patients avoid this doctor and this practice. He BELIEVES truly in his heart he helps ‘legacy’ or long-term chronic pain patients (CPP’s), but he will NOT stand up for your rights for proper treatment. Your choice, my opinion.
