I had chin liposuction with Dr schierle. I'm about 6 months out now I'm so happy I did it. The procedure and staff were awesome. I felt I was only had swelling that only lasted 2 days. Monika was super responsive when I had some questions afterwards. I have fluctuated some with my weight since then but my neck always stayed looking great. I had a life-changing experience with Dr. Schierle, PA-C Cieszynski, and the entire NW team. I had developed a rare case of a schwannoma tumor that grew in my tear duct pocket for 6 years, and as you can imagine it started to grow each year and protrude. I was able to get help from Northwestern from my CT scan to my surgery day. Typically, my case would be seen by an ocular surgeon but that would probably require an incision directly on my skin, leaving scars. I was very pleased to know that Dr. Schierle was able to help me because the team performed a lower blepharoplasty instead, leaving me with 0 pain post-op and no scars! The team is well educated, extremely detailed, and was patient-centered. I wake up today, more confident than I ever was and no longer can feel a palpable mass and see a protruding bulge on my face. It’s been one year since I had my upper eyelid surgery. I am beyond happy with my results. The Dr. Scheirle and Monica made me feel at ease and treated me respectfully. Any questions I had were answered easily with discussions and photos so I could understand completely. The procedure was a walk in the park! In 45 minutes, I was done and felt no pain at all. Recovery was smooth sailing. Although it takes a year to see final results, it went by fast and I would do it all over again. I was concerned about seeking services originally, but all of the staff at NW Plastics was great every step of the way. Even the billing person was easy to talk to. Dr. Schierle is knowledgeable, hilarious, and skilled at what he does.

A friend recommended Dr. Schierle to me. Since that time I've encountered two other women who have had their breasts done by Dr. Schierle. Of the four total women I know-- three of us then had to have revisions done by Dr. Schierle. Dr. Schierle used flattery when greeting me. At one consult he walked in, dusted his hands and said, "We're done here" implying I didn't need any changes. I was skeptical since obviously I was there seeking a cosmetic procedure and the comment seemed insincere. I wish I would have trusted that feeling of skepticism. The results from my first surgery left me with breasts significantly different in size and placement on my body (one was perky one was very low.) I was disappointed to have to undergo a revision but believed Dr. Schierle could correct the problems from the initial surgery. After my revision-- one breast is great; one is somewhat disfigured, lumpy, and sits higher than the other. Two surgeries later and my results are not good. No one wants to spend time and money having the same surgery repeated. Since my revision, I've encountered two more women who got their implants done by Dr. Schierle. When I shared the frustration of needing a revision and that it didn't go well, I was surprised when each said "Me too." One friend went on to say her left breast is great and the right is not good at all. "ME TOO," I said. That seemed like a very odd coincidence. It is supremely frustrating to undergo a revision and still not have good results. Would have been better off never having gone to this provider. To be clear: the staff was wonderful in every way. I did exchange emails post revision surgery with the PA and sent pictures when it became clear time would not improve the one disfigured breast. She agreed that it seemed likely I'd need a third surgery if I hoped to improve the situation. I told her Dr. Schierle had two opportunities to get it right; I'd lost the trust I had in him and if I chose to seek revision in the future it would be with a different surgeon. Dr. Schierle and his team were great and really easy to trust. I loved how they started off the consultation telling me that I was already beautiful and letting me guide them as to what I wanted (arm lift, breast lift and tummy tuck) done. From there they gave me options and opinions about which of the variations in procedures would be good for me or might better meet my expectations. I am really big on expectation management and I think they are too. That being said they exceeded my expectations so much so as that I got all the procedures I was planning to get over the next few years, done in a single year. Overall, he and his team are exceptional. I was fortunate to have minimal complications. I do have scars that will take years to fade but that is because of my skin color and scaring. Dr. Schierle is a Dr. who is a plastic surgeon and I believe that he forgets he’s a Dr. I had surgery 17 months ago and the after care from this provider was horrendous. Week after week I would just show up at his office at 8:00am because I was having issues and they never could see me. I kept telling him something was wrong... all he would say is “you’re healing you’re healing”. He talks a lot during your appointment and doesn’t listen to you. The final straw was when I had an ultrasound at Northwestern one of the nurses looked at me straight in the face and said.... Adalynn you need a new Dr. so I contacted an excellent surgeon.... got in on a Wednesday and had surgery AGAIN 3 days later. I finally listened to my body and NOT Dr. Schierle which I should have done 12 months ago. I’m sorry that I have been in pain and super miserable and I didn’t act sooner. If he practices this way I’m not trying to harm him in any way just a warning that the care here is less than adequate. I am a physician who has seen both terrible physicians and fantastic physicians firsthand. Dr. Schierle is beyond fantastic, and the only plastic surgeon I would ever recommend to anyone. I had an unfortunate liposuction procedure in the past with another plastic surgeon, and the result left craters in my thighs that I spent twelve years hiding by wearing Spanks stuffed with socks. No plastic surgeon would touch me, and they all said fat transfer to fill in the concavities would be minimally effective. After years of researching fat transfer and many plastic surgeons, I consulted with Dr. Schierle. He was upfront with me about the potential for a range of results, as well as the fact that he had not corrected such a mistake before. He respected that I was making a well-informed decision to proceed. The results were beyond my expectations. Dr. Schierle is a knowledgeable and skilled physician, as well as an artist. I love the shape of my new body, and his work on me has been life-changing. 5 month post surgery update: at first I was thrilled (read below) but then things settled in a less than ideal position. I'm still convinced Dr. Schierle is a skilled surgeon and I'm happy with the rhinoplasty results. As far as my breast surgery revision, there have been some disappointments. One has dropped lower than the other. The left has a bit of a double bubble appearance. The one that dropped lower (right side) is significantly larger than the left even though we had discussed the possibility of using different sized implants prior to surgery but he ruled that out. Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20. I think he did the best that he could given my prior surgery and considering the fact I've had four children and breast fed them all. The staff has been helpful about explaining possible options I have to correct the left side if I choose. At six months post op I'll have to make some decisions. I don't know if I can put myself through another revision though and may just live with less than ideal results. Life. I'm disappointed honestly because I feel like although my implant is no longer ruptured, and that's a good thing, my asymmetry in size is worse, one is lower, and one has a double bubble. Overall it may look worse than when I showed up at his office. It's almost a wash at this point. I doubt that anyone who sees me clothed would notice these issues but I had pointed that out as a reason not to revise at my first consultation. Dr. Schierle mentioned that my opinion of what they looked like was also important and I suppose I got my hopes up that he could make improvements. I need to add that plastic surgery is unlikely to go exactly as you hope. Get several consultations prior to choosing your surgeon. Both surgeons I've seen are at Northwestern and you think you're in good hands. Be prepared to have less than perfect results if you're not a healthy 20 something with super firm skin. If you've asked yourself these tough questions and you still want to go through with it by all means you are in capable hands with Dr. Schierle, who was honest about keeping expectations reasonable. Begin original review: I am three weeks post-op from a rhinoplasty, breast revision, and scar revision with Dr. Schierle. I could not be happier with my results. I had been considering a rhinoplasty for some time and was convinced I needed to go to L.A. A friend of mine, also a doctor, recommended I first see Dr. Schierle and I am very glad I did. I'm one of the most particular people I know and Dr. Schierle truly delivered. He and Lexy listened to my concerns, were prompt with email replies, and showed compassion. The whole staff was supportive and kind. I was very unsure about the rhinoplasty as I wanted subtle improvements. Dr. Schierle spent three hours in total, at three different consultations, patiently listening to me, looking at pictures, hearing my concerns and explaining in detail the procedure. I knew by the third consult that we were on the same page. He told me if my expectations were a 10 he could promise an "8." I think he gave me the 10. My only regret is not giving him a little more artistic freedom with the rhinoplasty. It's good to go in with an idea of what you want but you should remain open to his expertise. As far as the breast revision, I'd had implants placed in 2016 (different Chicago surgeon) that were causing me some issues; I thought the issues were minor. Dr. Schierle seemed sure I had the wrong implant for me (old ones were textured) and he was completely right. Turns out the issues I thought were minor were actually significant (one had ruptured) and I'm so glad I trusted his opinion that the revision was necessary. I initially booked a consult with Dr. Schierle based on a friend's referral and his top notch credentials (MD, PhD, UCLA, Harvard) but have returned to him because of his incredible patience, insight and expertise in the field. He listens well and truly has the best interest of his patient's at heart. His entire staff is kind, talented, and competent and I could not have had a better experience (or result!) with Dr. Schierle and his practice.

Schierle plastic surgery, I thought it was the best option for my reconstruction, but I was wrong about a reconstructive surgery from a beginner or a second-rate doctor. Being that he has his office at the Northwest Hospital in Chicago, I believed this to be the best option. I clarify that before the surgery we had three interviews in his office to make sure everything went well, he suggested that the best thing to do would be to remove fat from my abdomen and that this fat should be put on my left breast to match it with the right and that taking advantage of the anesthesia he would also correct the wrinkles of my face charging me a total of $ 4,976.00, amount that was paid with credit card. After three months without results, he informed me that he felt my body had not assimilated the fat. I wanted to recover my money through the credit card company and since I had signed the papers of no responsibility before the surgery I had no right to claim the refund. What kind of doctor is this that makes you sign documents that exempt you from any responsibility before the surgery? I think it's because he knows about his incapacity and lack of honor. For this reason I do not recommend him to anyone who intends to use his services. Not only was I dissatisfied with the service and the procedures done. I still had to go through all the pain and suffering. I was really looking forward to this surgery only to be disappointed and now I am stuck with a debt, for a surgery that was not successfully done. Dr. Schierle is truly a great physician and surgeon. After recently undergoing a rhinoplasty and septoplasty, I can happily say that the results were beyond my expectations. I had severe breathing issues because of my deviated septum and the appearance of my nose was disfigured. Dr. Schierle informed me that because of the significant damage to my nose it may not fully straighten, but there will be improvement in appearance and my ability to breathe. It has now been 5 months since my surgery and I can honestly say I am more than pleased with the results, the appearance of my nose looks great and I do not have any difficulty breathing.The staff is also very welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Today is 1 month after my surgery with Dr Schierle and I’m thrilled with my results so far! I had breast augmentation and liposuction and was very nervous about the recovery but there was such minimal pain! I was back at work in less than a week to a physically demanding job. Dr Schierle is an amazingly talented surgeon. He is compassionate, personable and listened attentively to all my concerns and I never felt rushed when I met with him. I felt extremely comfortable with his wonderful & very smart physician assistant Lexy who patiently answered all my questions and met with me multiple times before my surgery. Dr. Schierle is extremely talented and professional. After 2 procedures with Dr. Schierle, I find his abilities amazing, and the pain level was very low, perhaps a 1.5 out of 10 at most. I was off painkillers the day after surgery in both surgery cases, namely, eyelids and deviated septum, which were 2 years apart. I needlessly feared pain for 2 years before the deviated septum. No pain. Just a slight discomfort. Also, Dr. Schierle has the best bedside manners of any doctor i have ever met
