Clara Chon Shin

Dr. Clara is the best. Patient, caring, knowledgeable, and full of integrity. I trust very few doctors, but she is one exception to the herding feeling you get in most medical offices. I cannot say enough good things about her. She actually cares as much about how you are mentally feeling as much as how you feel physically.

I needed a new doctor and chose Dr. Clara Shin. She immediately got to work with blood tests, etc and got me back on track. She monitored my results to let me know what else I needed. I am very grateful for her!

How wonderful to have the scribe, Jacob, handle the computer information to enable the doctor's full interaction with the patients. The staff is great. Worst experience I have had at any establishment ever. If you have a lot and I mean like nothing else going on in your life then this place maybe, just maybe ok for you. I had a 4 PM appointment. I arrived prior to my appointment time to check in. Was taken back right at 4pm to the check in, where my height and weighed were taken. I knew something was wrong when the lady was arguably said I was a whopping 5’-7” tall. I’m 56 years old and have been 5’-11” tall since I was 15 years old. She insisted I’m 5’-7” which was quite a surprise to my 5’-8” wife. Once the dust over my height had settled, she place me in a room to be seen. 45 minutes later, this attitude (not sure what they ID with. man or women. Best guess would be pre op male) walks in. I tried to be as polite as I could at the time but honestly after 45 minutes of cooling my heels I may have failed. I voice my displeasure of having to take time off work (hourly so I do not get paid) and do you have to wait that long. I was informed if the doctors office and I would be waiting. I tried to explain I don’t mind waiting a few minutes you were there but 45 minutes was excessive. I was then told to leave by the “Shemale” as they said that was easy. Not sure who the doctor is. But you could not pay me to patronize this establishment. They think they’re God and their time is the only thing that matters. Best of luck to you if you decide to waste your time with these unproductive, uncaring medical personnel??At lease I think we’re suppose to be. I will happily drive an hour and a half father to Olympia to see a true professional. Worst experience I have had at any establishment ever. She's smart, intuitive and her diagnosis' have been spot on the first time for all our issues. She's friendly, compassionate, and LISTENS to you! Love her! Took my 95 yr old mom on as a patient who'd been repeatedly been in the ER for supposed 'bladder infections' for 2 yrs & put on a HUGE amount of antibiotics for 1 - 1/2yrs, with no actual diagnostic tests and no improvement. First appt. Clara ordered an MRI and found the problem. Smart doctor! So many more great experiences here!

I just love Dr. Shin. She has been so successful in helping me with pain issues. Great office staff, as well.

Dr. Shin’s negligence almost killed me in 2014. I seeked out the help of a naturopath afterwards who helped me become healthy, but because of the long wait to get into such good doctors I visited Dr. Shin this week. I wanted a few tests to take to my naturopath when I can next be seen and to talk about possible explanations for my stomach distress. Instead of ordering any blood work or other tests I asked about, Dr. Shin began bashing naturopaths. She told me she would not order the tests I requested because there was no reason to. I would recommend Dr. Clara Shin to anyone in need of cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment. I was, quite, ill when I first came to her and overtime, she has taught me of therapy, etc that has, greatly, assisted in my recovery. A++ in my book

I have been with Clara for many, many years. Honestly and integrity are hard to find these days. Very progressive medical care, and a second to none genuine empathy for her patients. I Love her!
