Most Magnificent, Empathetic, Detailed Oncologist in Collin County. Never in a hurry, always answers all questions, always looks for the reason to a problem. Always wants his patients comfortable and happy.

Dr. Stokoe and his PA, Zaineb are two of the most caring and honest medical professionals I have ever dealt with. With my new breast cancer regimen, I see one of them on a monthly basis. They both make my life personally more significant and care about planning for the future.

Dr Stokoe has provided me with expert and compassionate care for >10 years...he is very thorough in his explanations and his personal follow up is terrific.

I am a RN who has been a patient of Dr. Stokoe now for 3 1/2 years. He has been kind and patient with me all along! Never one issue! I am always seen right on time and entire staff are great! Senses of humor go a long way!!

Dr Stokoe is simply the best, highly respected, experienced, thorough, compassionate. He is patient, genuine and a great listener. He doesn't make me feel bad and never loses his patience with me when I had asked the same question multiple times. He shows genuine concerns when I had concerns, doubts or confusion due to my poor understanding and always happily and CLEARLY explains or re-iterates with just the right amount of information for my reassurance. I appreciate him being bold when needed yet also conservative as he pays a close attention to the holistic well being of me. I fully trust his medical advice and treatment plans for me. I can not thank him enough. I also got to work with his new nurse recently on getting paperwork for my employer. I am touched by her being very considerate, informative and quick to respond. She is very re-assuring.

Was able to see Dr. Stokoe immediately after calling his office with a new issue. My concern was taken seriously and a diagnostic study was scheduled. I was treated with kindness and respect. I would highly recommend Dr. Stokoe.

We were referred to Dr. Stokoe by our friend Dr. Monte Jones. When my husband and I met with Dr. Stokoe to determine who to select as our oncologist for my breast cancer, we walked out aligned that he was right for us. We chose Dr. Stokoe because in this initial meeting he listened patiently, acknowledged our comments/concerns, communicated in a manner we could understand and resonate with, and he demonstrated his deep knowledge of care for cancer. His recommendations for symptoms have been "spot on" thus far and his sensitivity to my concerns (small or large) are appreciated. We describe his demeanor as real and positive. Amongst ourselves, we refer to him as a cross between Einstein and Columbo - which we view as very positive! :)

I absolutely love Dr. Stokoe! He is an excellent doctor and I have complete confidence in him. I never feel rushed and he answers every one of my questions in a way that I understand.

Dr. Stokoe has been my oncologist since 2011. He has always treated my problems with compassion as well as knowledge.

I started at Texas Oncology with Dr Stokoe in July of 2014. His kindness and knowledge of breast cancer is top notch. Best of the Best.

It was easy to check in, had blood drawn quickly and visit with Dr. Stokoe was on time. Very efficient.

Dr. Stokoe was very through. He explained the results in understandable terms. Fortunately my test were negative, so I was released from his care.

My visit was just my routine, yearly oncology checkup so it was relatively short. Dr. Stokoe has been my oncologist from the beginning of this journey. I have never had any problems with him. I have total confidence in him and would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stokoe, has been a friend and a great doctor to me for the last 7 years and I have already recommend him to some of the patients that I work with. He is a very caring Doctor, takes the time to listen to what I have to say, keeps up with current treatments, and never rushes my appointments. Dr. Stokoe has been a very caring and involved Doctor of mine. He always makes time to answer all my questions and concerns. He is involved in the whole patient, regardless of complaint. I have have been under his care for a bit over three years and truely trust him with my life. The Doctor always has a reason to not be available. You will speak and see the assisting nurse more than you will see the doctor. You will need to know more about Cancer to provide recommendations on treatment then they will provide. You're treated as an illness, not a person. They pitch services as a sale, not as a treatment option. This is the most stressful time of a patients life, and more often than not it seems it's preyed upon. Ask for scans frequently because they will not be proactive with it. Want a brain scan? Too bad. Want a PET Scan, MAYBE! The Doctor always has a reason to not be available. Not only is my family member alive, I believe, because of Dr. Stokoe but our life is richer for having that kind, wise, and funny man in our lives. Dr Stokoe and his nurse have been fantastic. They fit me in next day in order to prep for a surgery. He is a fantastic Hematologist and his nurse is excellent as well. I am so grateful for this intelligent and supportive doctor.

Constant rescheduling of appointments and a real "push" to see the nurse practioner. He's a nice man but I'm moving on to a different doctor.
