I’ve not even seen him but he declined my referral. I’ve had a CT scan done and an MRI done. I asked why it was declined and they wouldn’t give me an answer. I’m 24 with several fractures and bulging discs and having a difficult time taking care of my daughter due to severe back pain. Ridiculous they declined my referral.

Absolutely 00000 stars, very rude, was referred by my orthopedic for spinal stenosis, degenerative changed, impingement of nerves in loe back. Advanced spondylosis , narrowing with impingement of nerves, cord impingement in cervical/neck. And all he said to me was in not so many words was " That I am Fat" to lose weight. Zero Stars. What a disgrace. His office strung me along as I provided answers to questions. I was in an accident out of state. I need a local doctor to fix me. He declined to see me. Dr. Sneed operated on me in late September. 2 spots on my lower back. I had been in real pain for the last year whether sitting, standing, walking, or trying to sleep. Dr Sneed exceeded my expectations. This was my first surgery ever. So I didn’t know what to expect. He is amazing. My back got better daily. I am very thankful for him and his ability! The best!

I had severe pain under my shoulder blade. The pain would come and go for many months thinking it was a muscle problem. Dr. Sneed determined the pain was coming from the nerves in my neck which were impacted causing the pain under my shoulder blade. I had the surgery to fix the problem and it was a great success. Dr. Sneed will not perform surgery unless he feels it would be beneficial to you. WARNING: Be patient. Healing/Recovery can sometime take a long while. Follow his instructions.

Dr. Sneed removed two bone spurs on my lower back, and cleaned out arthritis between vertebrae three and four. I was in constant pain before the surgery. I am thrilled with the results. I am pain free, for the first time since May of 2019. Dr. Sneed did wonderful work for me. I couldn't be any happier with his professional care. I highly recommend him for back surgery. I had surgery on 9-30-2020 on 2 spots on my back. For the past year I was in severe pain whether walking, standing, or sitting. Dr. Sneed explained the mechanics behind my pain and what he was going to do to fix it in very easy to understand and relatable terms. I had some fear of back surgery from experiences that family members had had with different physicians, but I could tell immediately I was in good hands with Dr. Sneed. Within days of my surgery I could tell it was a success. 2 weeks out and I'm walking, sitting, sleeping, and standing better than I have in a long time. I can't recommend Dr. Sneed enough.

Excellent!

Dr. Sneed performed a lower back decompression in L3-L4. Surgery went as explained. Dr. Sneed is very easy to understand; explaining the surgery in terms I could understand. After surgery I have none of the complications I had before. My surgery was a complete success.

Would not accept me as a patient, but why??? I have very good insurance. I always have paid my bills. So what is it? Phone person was curt.

Dr. Sneed did an exceptional job He freed me from my terrible pain. I had surgery in the morning, came home in afternoon and never took the first pain pil. Dr. Sneed and his staff were professional, courteous, caring, and responsive. I had been dealing with some very painful nerve related issues which they 100% resolved. The staff was very understanding and caring. Dr. Sneed explained things to me very clearly and did exactly what he said he would do, plus a little more. The pain i was experiencing was instantly gone after surgery. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Sneed and his staff. Dr. Sneed took such good care of my 81 yr old mom! She ruptured her disc and was experiencing excruciating nerve pain. At her age, we had some concerns about the surgery of course, but Dr. Sneed far surpasses the national average for success. He was clear about what he could do for her and explained everything very well. Our family was able to ask all the questions we had before and after surgery and Dr. Sneed even allowed my brother to be brought into the conversation on speaker phone. Most importantly, my mom is no longer suffering the pain she had before surgery. She came home, same day and felt better than before surgery the very next day! What's happening severe back pain having trouble walking my physician sent me to an orthopedic surgeon he ran in MRI the MRI showed a cyst on my spinal column next to the sciatic nerve plus I have osteoarthritis in my lumbar region he explained everything to me and even though I was afraid of surgery after his explanation he put me at ease I am so glad I had the surgery I am pain free and able to walk again no longer on any type of pain medication I would recommend doctor Sneed and his staff to anyone they were very friendly caring and professional

I had back surgery for a lot of leg pain due to pinched nerves. Our experience with Dr. Sneed was excellent. The leg pain is gone and my back is healing. Very blessed.

Dr Sneed and his staff scheduled surgery within 24 hours of my visit to get me on the road to recovery in time for my sons wedding. I had immediate relief following the surgery and am grateful for the care and kindness they extended in my time of need.

Great surgeon

Dr Sneed removed a disc from my husband's neck and replaced it with a cadaver disc then fused the area in his neck. Dr. Sneed is a wonderful and caring surgeon. He removed 2 severely deteriorated discs from my neck, repaired the nerve damage, replaced, and fused the discs. I was in so much pain, and through it all Dr. Sneed was kind, compassionate, and explained everything. He is an outstanding surgeon, and his staff is fantastic.

In Dec, I was having sever pain in my left leg due to sciatica. I was referred to Dr. Sneed by my primary care doctor. My initial visit with Dr. Sneed was on April 18. After reviewing my MRI, Dr. Sneed recommended surgery. After surgery on April 23, I had instant relief. Dr. Sneed is a very patient and compassionate person. Dr. Sneed is a great listener. He is very caring. He thoroughly explains the procedure you need to have done and tells you what to expect as you recover. My back surgery was a complete success. Dr. Sneed was recommended to me by personal friend/radiologist. He rarely has any post op problems which are followed up with radiology. This meant a lot to me since I was a 40 yr OR nurse! His recommendation turned into an excellent choice! He demonstrated extremely good rapor with each visit. I was never rushed during these visits & he listened, answered questions and showed empathy. I was recommended to Dr Sneed by my family Doctor. I had a herniated disk in my lumbar that was pushing a bone fragment into a root nerve. Dr Sneed and his staff are very professional. Everything was explained to me. Wait times were minimal for all my visits. Overall I could not be more pleased with the outcome. After a sledding accident years ago and degenerative changes, I have required 3 surgeries throughtout the years, each in a different location for a herniated disc. I was amazed everytime waking up in recovery with 100% pain relief from the pinched nerves. Dr Sneed takes great care during surgery to make sure all the problems are fixed. I told him after my first surgery, “I am unsure how much your income was for my surgery, but it was not enough!!!” He gave me my life back.

Dr. Sneed is extremely compassionate and patient. He took as much time as was necessary to really listen to me. He thoroughly explained my condition to me, explained all my options, and took the time to listen to my fears about my diagnosis. His bedside manner is phenomenal.

Dr. Sneed was very honest and straight forward about the stenosis in my neck, including the increased risks, potential for complications, and the expected results of surgery. He took great care to answer all my questions about the surgery and the follow up. He gave me written, as well as verbal, instructions to follow during my recovery. I am now 7-8 weeks post surgery, and I have been ahead of the recovery schedule at every step. I recommend him without hesitation.

I have had 2 surgeries by Dr. Sneed. Cervical spine and the lumbar region. Both very successful. The later far exceeding my expectations. He has a wonderful staff and an amazing nurse. I can only say in all sincerety that Dr. Sneed is the "Beethoven" of neurosurgeons. Thank you.

Very reliable and wonderful surgeon. He takes time to talk to you and explain your case in a manner you can understand. I hope i never do but if i have to have back surgery again he will be the man to do it hands down.

I had to have surgery on my spine to remove arthritis and "unpinch" my nerves along with some general clean up. I researched several doctors and talked with several people before selecting Dr. Sneed. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sneed. The first time I met him I knew I had selected the right person. Great bedside manner, not cut happy, and very personable. I had the surgery and currently am doing fine. I would definitely recommend Dr. Sneed to anyone for this type of surgery.

Six weeks ago I had repair of a ruptured disc in my neck. He clearly explained the issue and the surgery and what to expect afterwards. Immediately after surgery the pain I had for months in my left arm was gone and much of the numbness. He was readily available by phone when I questions that first week. He and his staff are very professional and courteous. I am pain free and gradually resuming normal activities with no problems. I highly recommend Dr. Sneed. I also thank his NP , Cinda.

Dr. Sneed recently repaired a ruptured disc in my back. The location of the rupture created a little bit of a unique situation for him. He did a wonderful job. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional surgeon, both in the operating room and in his office. A great person with a very likable personality. He is very patient to answer questions and explain procedures, as well as to create a reassuring atmosphere and put me at ease. I would strongly recommend him as a neurosurgeon.

Arrogant and rude, after having a cervical fusion by him I went back with severe pain like way worse after only 3 years. After he told me to just walk and then sent me to pain management after months of not really telling me what was wrong. I then asked for my medical notes and was amazed how he lied about things and only put down what would make me look bad as a patient. He failed to mention half of what was really said. Anyone who treats patients like this shouldn't be practicing.

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Sneed for a herniated disc condition that was causing me a great deal of pain. Dr. Sneed clearly explained my MRI results to me and that my condition required surgery. The surgery was successful and after six weeks of recovery I'm back to my normal self. The entire process, from inception to conclusion; from his secretary to his nurse, was all professional and courteous. Thank you Dr. Sneed.

I was suffering from severe sciatic pain due to L-3, L4 disc herniation. Dr. Sneed and his staff were very courteous, professional, and took the time to answer my questions during my office visits prior to my surgery. Three hours after surgery, I walked out of the Surgicare facility pain free and have been ever since the surgery was performed over seven weeks ago. This has been a life changing event. I highly recommend Dr. Sneed for anyone having similar back issues.
