Dr. Russell is great, but office staff is horrible. Never contacted for MRI nor results of blood test for 3 months, after I called them. Totally rude when scheduling follow up appt. So unfair to Dr. Russell.

We have found his office to be very unresponsive as far as returning calls and scheduling appointments. My husband had been a patient of Dr. Russell's for many years and we cannot get thru the phone system to make a necessary appointment. Their phone system often seems out of order. Very, very unhappy with this office.

Most unprofessional medical experience I've ever had. Like another reviewer mentioned, the Medical Assistant here is rude and completely unhelpful. I have been waiting for an insurance appeal to get an MRI for over 2 months. We are on our 3rd appeal due to the lack of timely follow up from Dr. Russell's office where a quick 2 minute phone call is all that's needed, but even after my insurance has called the office directly multiple times, the Medical Assistant actually hung up on them saying they don't have time. They don't have time for me......I have worsening symptoms that need diagnosis yet they don't have time for a 2 minute peer to peer phone call with my insurance. Dr. Russell himself was great and I appreciate his initial appointment with me, but if you'd like to feel valued whatsoever by the operational staff, look elsewhere. After an MRI that was ordered by an ENT came back with an anomaly. I was told that I should see a neurologist--a friend recommended Dr. Russell. I liked Dr. Russel's demeanor and professionalism. He said I needed a follow-up MRI with contrast--I assume to verify his prognosis. After waiting weeks to hear from the imaging center, I left a message w/ Dr. Russell's assistant to find out why I hadn't been contacted by the imaging center? My call was not returned, so I called again and then got a very rude call-back, telling me that it was MY responsibility to make the app't---that she had sent the necessary p'work! I seriously doubt this! Immediately after this contact, I got a call from the imaging ctr. saying they'd just rec'd p'work from Dr. Russell's office and when could I come in? It has been more than three weeks since my MRI and I have yet to learn the results. Readers: form your own conclusions.

I will not write every detail about the issue but she even told the offer manager that she gave me a call yesterday. I was shock because I did not receive call from her or vm. Office manager also told me that Jill even showed the phone log that my number was dialed. I was surprised. After I hang up the phone I realized I received a call from the office from Someone else that reminding my follow up appointment but it was not Jill. I even told the person Jill never calls me back. So that phone log was that log and she pretended like she called me in my opinion. I would not see doctor Russell just because you have to go through Jill since she is the assistant. Dr Russell is an excellent physician, caring and very professional. He is one of the best. I trust him with my life. No worries. This is Lowell Bethel writing this. Dr Russell treats my traumatic brain injury. He's the best Doctor I've had the pleasure of being treated by.

Aesthetics of the waiting room was great however, empty on most visits. (95 peachtr). I should have stayed clear of this particular office. It appeared to be a party in session behind the check in window and the one patient attempting to make a copay to the front desk admin was a distraction. The med assist Jill was extremely harsh and boisterous as I attempted to schedule tests that my doc ordered. It appears that this is the culture of this practice. Don't let the name of this clinic fool you

I had a traumatic brain injury. Dr Russell literally saved me with his adjustment and attention to my Trileptal anti-seizure medication. He is attentive, professional, and his bedside manner is total empathy, and patient concern. He cares for the patient as a dear friend. If I was in a battlefield, I'd want Dr Russell beside me. He is determined to treat the illness and defeat it. He's a gentleman, and you can tell as a clinician, Dr Russell stays informed on the latest medical job knowledge.

Dr. Russell is phenomenal. He has been treating my MS for years and I think he is superb. He consistently monitors my condition and always knows the latest research and news. I trust him above all else and would not go anywhere else. His staff are caring and well-informed. I feel right at home at my appointments and know I cannot be receiving better care.
