Christopher Rink

I've been seeing Dr. Rink for several years for my severe back problems. He has been very professional. Dr. Rink listens to everything I have to say. He provides guidance on how I can help relieve all of my pain. He is one of most favorite doctors of all time. I trust him with my bulging disc, my bad hip and painful knee and foot. He has given me injections to ease the pain and makes sure I have what I need. I never wait long to see him and he is never in a hurry to leave the exam room. I had been going to Dr. Rink for a few years to treat my fibromyalgia. He tried 3 or 4 different medications with me. None of them worked long-term. We finally had the opioid discussion after suffering through a month long flare. I was prescribed Vicodin. For two days, the pain was so bad that I took a double dose. I called the nurse, because I was not comfortable doing this long-term. I got a call back saying that Dr. Rink was ending my prescription because I took more than I should have. Instead of bringing me into the office to discuss other options, he basically said that I was out of luck. This is heartless, denying a medication that was actually helping because I took a double dose, TWICE. He has an attitude, and I will no longer be his patient. I have been seeing Dr. Rink since he came to the pain clinic on Fort Jesse. I appreciate the time he spends answering my questions questions. He doesn't talk down to me. He is open minded when it comes to letting me try different ways things to help control my pain. The office staff are all nice and supportive and kind.I know they are there to help me. I've been seeing Dr. Rink for several years for my bad back. He always talks to me like a human and makes sure I am happy with how things are progressing. Very happy with his care!!!

He does not care about his patients.

Dr. Rink has always been professional when speaking with me regarding any of my back problems. He listens well and has made sure I've tried various ways to relieve the chronic pain I have in my lower back.

I have been seeing Dr. Rink since he came to OSF Pain Management and was left to deal with the mistakes left by the departing doctors. Him and his staff have gone well out of their way to help me and I will be forever grateful. He is knowledgeable and compassionate hands has tried to help in anyway he can. We truly need more doctors like him and nurses like Melissa and Stephanie.

Always listens! Is compassionate about your pain. Will always work with you to help manage your pain together. Staff is also very compassionate.

never seen a dr who slams your file shut and says he gives up ? just because he didnt like that you stopped the meds you were taking and it made you sick ? and the office manager tells me that its because i have a state medical card

I would never advise anyone to go there. I have arthritis, stenosis, sacroiliac joint, degenerative disc disease, back spasms so bad I can't walk and his suggestion is physical therapy. I have done physical therapy for years. This pain is way past that. He does not listen to his patients. I will never go back.

This man is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met! He told me once he didn't have time for this s##t, my questions to him about my treatment, and promptly left the room. On a much later visit after being his patient for a couple of years, against my better judgement, he became upset accused me of filling a complaint against him and promptly decreased my medication,I needed up until that day, to basically nothing. I stay in chronic pain due to him and am housebound unable to live.

Dr Rink was very thorough and listened to my concerns. Offered suggestions on managing my pain along with medication.

Dr Rink is a very rude person, has no compassion for a human being, yells at you, doesn't care to listen to anything you have to say, tell you what he's not going to do, instead of help he rather make you suffer, I would never recommend anyone to him not even my worse enemy!

I have degenerative bone disease in L4 and L5 with arthritis,I also have sacroiliac joint disfunction n my right hip with arthritis, his treatment is physical therapy. I have excruciating pain n my back and right hip with pain shooting down both legs.I tried physical therapy and it made it worse.I went to a pain clinic that gave me injections n made a world of difference.Dr rink said the only way he would give me injections is if I was 80 and on my death bed just to make my last few hours better

Takes the time to listen to you and come up with the best solution to your concerns. Doesn't just throw meds at you, and send you on your way. Really great Dr

All i can say is that he has prescribed meds that i am allergic to 3 times. This doc really needs to read his patients charts.it has been so bad that i had to go to ER.
