Dr. Christopher Kendall Rains

The staff were friendly, and professional, and smiled when you interacted with them. The office was tranquil and inviting. I am a new patient to this practice and felt at ease and providing my information was simple and painless. Their equipment is state of the art. Dr. Rains was a pleasure, my results were well displayed and fully shared with me. The explanations were easily understood and simply presented tome including full explanations of what was displayed on a large computer screen. My friend recommended me and I concur I am a confirmed patient and Dr. Rains is my confirmed optometrist. Thank you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rains for nearly 20 years and would not go anywhere else for my eye care needs. He listens to my concerns, addresses them honestly, and explains everything thoroughly. The staff is courteous, friendly, and sincere. I have only had positive experiences with all of them.

First saw Dr. Rains in '91 & continued my eye care with him until moving in '97. I did not fully appreciate Dr. Rains until I was unable to find an Optometrist that allowed me to simply read street signs clearly. While visiting my parents in 2004, I booked an appointment, even though my insurance was not accepted. Just like every visit from '91-'97, my vision was sharp. I recently moved back to the Gulf Coast, after my 9/18/18 appointment...I'm clearly seeing near & far!

the last one did not let me finish--this time I was told after my appointment that my glasses would be ready at the first of the week. I had not heard from them by Thursday--I called and was told they would be ready by this afternoon--I waited until 230pm to go pick up my glasses, only to be told sarcastically that they were not ready and would not be for at least an hour. I will return for exams but will never buy glasses there again!!!
