Dr. Christopher G Putney

Dr. Putney and Laura are amazing as always. As everyone knows ADHD medication is a struggle to get lately. It’s constantly on back order. My spouse has had ADHD since he was less than 10year a old. Without his medication he becomes violently ill and struggles to even function with his job. Most pharmacies will not notify you of their inventory over the phone. You have to physically go in to every pharmacy and inquire if they even have your medication. Most don’t. Today we went to 3 different pharmacies until we finally located it. My spouse has spent the last few months missing his medications sometimes over a week due to this issue and the only people who care seem to be Putney & Laura. Pharmacies don’t care, the front office doesn’t care and other doctors don’t have the time of day. Thank you to Dr. Putney & Laura for always listening and assisting.

Highly recommend!!! Dr Putney has always taken great care of me when needed. I appreciate his caring bedside manner and reaching out to me personally vs staff. Great Doctor! Grateful to have him as my Doctor.

Dr. Putney is absolutely amazing! I can't think of a better doctor. He listens and is composed. His nurses are great and treat everyone with respect. I recently went in with high blood pressure, and they treated me so well. New issue I was having. Dr. Putney even came to take my BP manually. I really think he does a great job! I've never had an attentive doctor like him. Thank you for everything you've helped me with! He really is a god- sent.

The person who answered the phone was very rude and short. It says they accept Medicaid but she said nope she could of been nicer about it

Love Dr. Putney and his office! Go there for my physicals and any general medicine and he is always so nice, punctual and listens to any concerns and always has my prescriptions ready to go asap! I've been going there for years and was referred by my cousin who has been there for so long as well. He is awesome!

Dr. Putney is the best. He really listens, he is empathetic, and I trust him. I feel lucky to have him as our family doctor. I couldn't ask for a better person to look after us.

Three of my family members had COVID and Dr. Putney and his staff provided excellent care from the drive through testing at their office to to many telemedicine appointments and phone calls we had to have until everyone was better.

Dr. Putney cares about his patients, listens with respect and tailors care to each individual's medical and personal needs. He is an exceptional, reliable, and knowledgeable family doctor.

I needed a prescription filled next day, so I called the FMRR office to talk to either the doctor or his assistant. I assumed at least 1 of them would be on call, but discovered that neither of them was in office. I was told there was a backup nurse who could help. So I called in my prescription that I've had for several years, but was told that I couldn't get it filled until they came back into the office. They offered an alternative one that I've already tried and do not like... I just wanted to go back to the prescription I've had for several years. The backup nurse refused to help any further and resolve this issue and said I'll just have to wait...it was "company policy". So what good is a backup nurse if they can't help you get the prescriptions you've been taking for years? I asked to get the doctors personal # so I could resolve this, but you guessed it...nope, can't help you there either...it is "company policy". I never write reviews or complain online, but this struck a nerve for me. I have a stepfather who is a family doctor in another state and he would get calls to our home on a daily basis from his patients. Granted it was a smaller practice, the bottom line is the customer experience and personal care was always important to him, so he made himself available to his patients when they had a need. He also wouldn't let the bureaucracy of an office prohibit his patients from receiving normal prescriptions. At minimum, he would have a backup that could act in his behalf...or call him with any escalations. I've seen this doctor for many years and have no complaints with him personally, but being part of a large network, you do feel like you are just a number and the bureaucracy takes precedence over the patient. Dr Putney and his staff are amazing! I have seen Dr Putney for over 20 years, he treats my husband and both my children. His passion for care is exceptional. I am able to get same day appointments when needed. He is swift and thorough and has taken great care of my crew through good and not so good times. I am grateful for his kindness and attention. Chris Putney has been my primary care physician for several decades. He is extremely personable and caring, plus has a great sense of humor. His nurse Laura is simply the best, as is the rest of the staff. After I moved to Houston I never even considered finding another doctor, I just drive the 2.5 hours to go see Chris. I have been going to Dr Putney for a few years now. He and his nurse Laura are great. I have been in Austin for over 12 years and it took me several of those to find a doctor that was as intelligent and honest as him. I had some bad experiances prior to getting referred by a friend. Dr. Putney has been my Doctor for about 8 years. I have moved over 70 miles away from his practice and still drive all the way to Round Rock to see him. He and his staff are the best. They return calls promptly when you leave a message. He takes his time with you and really cares. You wont find a better Doctor than DR. Putney.

Been going to Dr Putney for 20 years. Excellent care provider.

Didn't see the doctor, saw his physician assistant. Unforturnatley treatment prescribed helped for one week, now my condition has got worse, no contact on office about physical therapy they were supposed to schedule. So now I will have to find another Ortopedic doctor

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Putney for many years. He is the finest Doctor you can find in the medical field. His genuine concern for patients is demonstrated by the way he listens carefully and is on spot with assessments. Dr. Putney does not try to throw a lot of prescriptions at you, instead he offers competent advise on how to best manage your health concerns. We love the team at Family Medicine Associates and was very impressed recently when team member Rita professionally, promptly, and courteously handled a request for processing some of our records validating our annual physicals. Rita is a huge asset on this team of wonderful medical professionals. I trust this group implicitly with my medical needs. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Putney for many years.
