This doctor is more about rushing you through the procedure. Uses a surgery center that is questionable (no masks) at best. I will not go back.

Literally every single aspect leading up to meeting the doctor, and every aspect of the experience afterwards is an absolute misery. Most of the staff at the front puts on a bright smiling face when you are in front of them, but it's very, very clear they don't want to help you when you call or message them over their Medfusion app. Appointment cards are handed to you without regards to whether that time and date works or not. Follow-up appointments after procedures are on you to call for -- they won't call you, period. Referrals? Yep, they will just throw up their hands and send you back to your GP -- they can't be bothered. The doctor, and his PA, are absolutely TOP NOTCH. You simply can't get worst than this disaffected and disinterested staff though -- they aren't interested in their job, much less your health.

I have been seeing Dr Pratt since 2010, the care his office gives is so incredibly professional and thorough. I see Christy as well, and with her expertise, communication and follow through, I am living with a quality of life that is made possible with the treatment they offer. This office staff, nurses, and PAs is the best in my opinion. Thank you Dr Pratt and your entire staff from front to back for everything you do for me.

I have been visiting Dr. Pratt’s office for many years now with chronic back pain from lumbar fusions and resulting adhesions. The office staff, nurses, nurse practitioners and basically all support staff working in his office is extremely personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and compassionate. They have worked very hard to make sure that I can live a normal, happy, pain free life for as long as i can before the dreaded next back surgery! Working with me through many avenues such as physical therapy and injections as well as medication. I know that they would seriously want me to be happily medication and pain free. I just can’t properly convey how appreciative I am for the rare and positive experience received by Dr. Pratt’s practice and professionals!

Dr. Pratt himself is very professional, however after two spinal injections I had no relief. Ive called this office for 4 days now, getting the same response "the nurse will call you". I am trying to schedule yet another injection but I will go elsewhere after a very unprofessional staff failed to return my calls.

Incompetent staff and rude. I left the office feeling as if their scheduling was my mix up. Because l was not happy and had a “tone”, l was at fault. I had an appointment and checked in to the surgicare facility as instructed. The assistant told me Dr Pratt was not there, that his days had been changed and for me to go to his office. I went to the office and was told l was on his schedule for 10am for the procedure. l agreed to anesthesia and they do not do this at the office. I was told l need to reschedule. The rescheduling assistant asked me when my appointment was made and that scheduling had changed about two weeks ago. I asked why l didn’t receive a call regarding this change? She told me that humans make mistakes, no apology given. Well, yes, l had a tone as she put it and did not reschedule. This is unacceptable in my opinion and l will not go back there. The staff needs educating on how to solve problems, not make them.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. and a staff that will NOT go out of their way one iota to help. This office will give you an appt and take you copay but offer NOTHING except..."we don't have enough information". This after 2 referral. Those that recommend this guy have henceforth been given an ear full and suggested to find another physician.

Incompetent office, 7 days after receiving the referral ( I was on the phone when the referral coordinator faxed the referral) they still keep saying it is in the stack that has not been looked at. I am in pain and DR. Pratt is a Pain Management doctor. That response is not good enough , I switched doctors.

I am getting older and have realized how important my relationship with a great doc is to me. Dr Chris Pratt has been a great pain doc who has treated me for back problems for a decade a two do to a military injury. He is the only doc of many that has helped me lead a relatively pain free life.

Wasn't able to get appointment 2 weeks trying. They can't figure out insurance, so asked me to do that for them. Will not return phone calls. Phone off during stated business hours. Unable to actually see the doctor, trying to get past front desk is impossible and not worth time or energy. Unprofessional at best.

Dr Pratt is fine. His staff sucks. I have hip pain. They did a spinal injection with only 1 MRI when I told them I had had 3 MRIs, multiple xrays and a nerve study. Surprise, it's not my spine but my hip that hurts - just like I said it was. Wasted 6 mos trying to get my medical records. Finally went and got them myself (walking on painful hips) handed them to them in person, received a call from them the day of my apt saying they were having issues getting them. I asked why would you still need them, I handed them to you in person. 15 minutes later she came back and said they were not in the office. I told them to cancel my appointment that I was finding a new pain management doctor! Dr. Pratt, if you read these - please clean up your office!

I never met the doctor. His office staff referred me for an MRI. I had a follow up appointment to discuss the results. Again, the doctor was not present. The office worker told me I would meet the doctor in the surgical center during the procedure. That was very different from all other pre-procedure experiences that I have had. In all other cases, the doctor examined me and discussed the procedure. I asked for an office visit with the doctor. I was told it would be a month or so, but if I wanted the injection, I could receive it in 5 days. It appears that he is more concerned with sticking people than performing a complete examination.

My experience with Dr Pratt and staff in 2019 was very pleasing. I was nervous about the 2 procedures he was to perform but, was left feeling assured he was highly capable of doing the procedures. Both procedures went well. Dr Pratt and his staff met with me before the procedures which showed me they cared about my well being and satisfied outcome. I would definitely recommend Dr Pratt and his Staff to put your trust in for your pain relief physically and mentally.

I do not recommend. My quality of life is worse than before pain management. Pain management isn’t managing anything but the money they are making off of me. I have been under the care of the NP and not Dr Pratt. I have seen Dr Pratt three times for injections that end up causing more pain. NP DOES NOT ESTABLISH RAPPORT. I have a better rapport with Dr Pratt from seeing him for 2 mins prior to having injections than I have with the NP. I wouldn’t recognize her if I saw her because the total of my visit consists of her in the corner looking at the computer, not me. I get the occasional glance. After three months of treatment, I am still in constant pain that now prevents me from sleeping more than 2-3 hours at a time because the NP halved the pain meds dosage for a med I have been on for more than ten years. Which leaves me to posting unfavorable reviews at 2am because I am not sleeping - because of pain. Because 50mg of tramadol every 12 hours is ineffective, especially when you have a tolerance to it. She doesn’t care, and hardly looked up at me from across the room. She never learned what I was doing to manage the pain. She never learned anything about ME that she didn’t see in an MRI. I am a human. And like the patient before me, my pain is unique to me. Treatment isn’t ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL. Is it too much to ask to be allowed room for a dose of pain meds during the day? When I am able to manage my pain (before this pain management fiasco) I often did not need the second dose during the day. But I can’t get control of the pain because I will end up going 7-10 days without pain meds. This is cruelty. I am treated like an addict. This is a racket. It was meant to help me avoid stabilization surgery and now it’s forcing me to have it. How is this effective? My experience has been terrible. If yours is great, I’m happy for you. The contract they make you sign essentially means the NP can ignore your needs and you can’t do anything about it. I do not recommend. My quality of life is worse than before pain management. Pain management isn’t managing anything but the money they are making off of me. I have been under the care of the NP and not Dr Pratt. I have seen Dr Pratt three … More

Replying to your reply, 3.12.19 - its fine I've been referred else where. I have been put on hold and then told several times that you would call me back and have yet to hear back from you so I called and got a referral to another doctor yesterday at 4:30 pm when I did not hear back from you once again after being told she would call me back and get me taken care of. Since it didn't get handled last week and Dr Pratt is now gone for a week I need to be seen before then anyway to determine if the spine injections will even work before I go back for my follow up with the surgeon. Mr. Pratt is EXTREMELY caring and compassionate about what is going on with your injury. Not only does he have comforting bedside manner, but I have found him to be incredibly knowledgeable about back, spine & tailbone issues. I had some bulging discs along w/ one that had slipped and he was able to completely alleviate my back pain. I was 100% better after he gave 2 sets of injections. After that I had to have my tailbone removed (extremely painful) and I'm having such severe pain with my tailbone area since it had to be cut off. He has been with me every step of the way, which has been a long journey. He has continued helping me through that and we are working on getting it taken care of (it's a really long recovery time) it's been six months so far and he's been by my side the entire time I don't know what I'd do without Mr. Pratt & Cristy being there. I know that I will be better one day. I just know and believe it. They give me a sense of hope and make me feel assured that I'll get better. They really care about me and my well being and I appreciate that very much. His staff is also very kind and professional. Anytime there is a request or a question they respond to me within 24hrs. Dr. Pratt is an amazing doc! He gets right to the point, listens to what you are saying. The Rhizotomy greatly reduced my pain in my lower back! His PA, Christy, sucks!!! She walked into my room, sat down at the computer and NEVER looked at me. She didn't even read my medical history as I was still filling it out! She never looked at me the entire time she was in there nor did she ever look at my history! As a former nurse I found her "professionalism" extremely lacking!

Well to start all was good. I was only prescribed tramadol a non narcotic med. I never asked for anything narcotic and didn’t expect anything. I’ve had horrible back pain for the last 8 years. Due to car wreck and surgery and bull riding. I was treated like a drug addict, I asked before and after my injections for something g better than tramadol but non narcotic. He prescribed a medicine that used for opiate withdraws. Which made me feel wry low. Because after my car wreck in 2009 I was on so much meds I had a dependent on it. Not my fault bc I didn’t know any better and back then the docs really didn’t know much eather. And after 3 years of that I quit cold turkey on my own, and never wanted to go back to pills. But to be treated like a crack head in their was in called for. All I wanted was back injections. And I’m 30 years old. I know their is a big thing with my generation that we’re just going for pills, I have a family and kids and my own car house etc. the last thing I wanted was to just get pills. But it is what it is I think they are probably nice people but just judged me too quick. I mean the day I asked for stronger meds I said this exactly ( doctor Pratt the tramadol is not working so you have anything thing stronger??) He said ( I am not going to write you narcotic pain meds) I said (I don’t want narcotic pain meds, just something that works better) He wrote the script for people with opiate withdraws.. Look it up tramadol is NON NARCOTIC thanks a lot hope this helps Well to start all was good. I was only prescribed tramadol a non narcotic med. I STRONGLY URGE EVERYONE NOT TO SEE PRATT UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CONSTANTLY ACCUSED OF BEING A PAIN SEEKER AND LYING. I was treated horribly by CHRISTY at Pratt’s office. It was my first and last appt with his office. Dr. Pratt was my original PM doctor before obozo screwed everything up and I had to leave his practice. So I had to transfer to Dr. Garza, then he moved groups, and his new group did not accept my insurance, so that’s when I found Dr. Hurschman the most amazing and caring PM doctor just like Dr. Pratt. But he retired and transferred his patients to Dr. Bartis, she is amazing but after being lied to by her staff on multiple occasions I decided to seek out a new PM doctor. Since I was now on a PPO I wanted to return to Dr. Pratt. But that changed when I met Christy for the first time. Dr. Pratt has treated me since 2012 for multiple injuries in my back and knees stemming from two collisions. He has worked to find treatments and medications which still allow me to function as actively as possible given my disabilities. He has also helped me find physical therapy, provided medical treatments and recently helped me find a surgeon offering a minimally invasive surgery. Dr Pratt has been straightforward and honest with me about the injuries which just can't be corrected. He's helped guide me thru the plethora of physicians and practitioners who offer complete pain relief but can't deliver. He is a kind, genuinely caring person who can explain medical conditions in layman's terms. He doesn't sugarcoat problems but works diligently to provide relief from pain. The office waiting room is welcoming. The staff is friendly, but not chatty. The professionals I've interacted with seem genuinely interested in my concerns. Their treatment options have made a difference in my quality of life. I gave 5 stars to time spent with patients. This office is about getting the facts, partnering with the patient and moving on in a professional manner. They look you in the eye instead of a computer or file while talking to you, which is so rare these days.

The difficulty of reaching a person really bothers me when I call in. I don't understand why yu can't stagger your staff to answer your phone during the 12-1 period when most working people try to call in. I would like to speak to Dr Pratt about a surgery he performed on me last week and am tired of not finding a person to put me through to him.
