We were initially very pleased with Dr. Petersen. However as time went on we learned he is very set in his decisions and not open to discussion or parental involvement. He made decisions regarding our daughter's care behind our backs and without speaking with us. He had us see another provider he said could make medical decisions but we then found this was untrue - no decisions could be made without his involvement. We were spinning in circles. Dr. Petersen painted us in a corner and was then disgruntled when we started making decisions. He does not appreciate parental involvement or any discussion regarding his treatment plan. If you want to be involved in your child's care, look elsewhere.
