Overzealous to perform major surgery. Although a negative outcome does not constitute malpractice; this guy messed my foot up. Went to him on VA referral and my slight discomfort is now a constant ache. I believe he overground the joint, toe is considerably shorter, and has a jammed, achy feeling. Do your homework and don't let this guy joke w/you all the way to the operating room (bank).... other med sites show an aggressive operation tendency. He did not help me with my problem. He tried to sell me an over the counter ointment for $100.00 which is in fact a liniment and I don't believe it is an anti-fungal. I can buy the same elsewhere for about $70.00. I had to go to another doctor who prescribed the right medicine.

The Dr did a good, quick job on my dad's feet and he is much more comfortable. We visited today in the morning. Upon arriving we were greeted by staff without masks, and most of the patients were not wearing masks. When my dad was seated in the treatment room I asked if the Dr would be wearing a mask. She seemed flustered, but said "yes, and the only reason I wasn't was I was eating, and that was reasonable right?" I did not see any name tags. We sat waiting for the Dr, and when waiting I could hear him outside the door with the woman who'd showed us to the room whispering to the dr. About us. And our request to wear masks. Her tone was snarky and rude, and I heard every word. The icing on the cake was her comment about her justification for not wearing a mask, because of eating. Additionally the dr laughed at my comment about the virus calling it 'just a flu.' I'm sorry.... But no. Just no. We will not be returning. Period. Amazing Doctor and staff

Both he and his staff are very accommodating. They are willing and flexible for visits and the time spent with the patient is as long as one wants.

New Patient to Doctor Murphys office. The staff and Doctor were fantastic. Doctor M. Was very thorough in explaining my needs for treatment. I would recommend this practice seeking a Podiatrist.

After seeing multiple other podiatrists in the area, I really Appreciated Dr. Murphy’s experience and confidence when it came to surgery. He fixed my bunions for me and now they feel great. The whole process was smooth and pretty much painless. The office staff as well as the doctor will go out of their way to assist you.

After researching for surgery I found Dr. Murphy to be the most experienced with correcting bunions in this area. Had my bunions fixed, healed in 6 weeks, and never had any problems since. Highly recommend.

Excellent doctor and friendly office staff. Dr. Murphy did surgery on my bunion, second toe and my hammer toe and I am very pleased with the results. He is board certified in foot and ankle surgery.

After putting it off for many years I finally had bunions removed from both feet. So happy I chose Dr. Murphy for the procedure. Professional and caring. His staff is also professional. I had researched others experiences and was hesitant. The procedure wasn't as painful as others had expressed. Now that I am at the end of rehab if I had to do it over again I would. My experience wasn't too bad, although he won't let you ever take care of your feet yourself. He treated my spouse and his daughter so badly they will never go back. For an ingrown toenail the novacaine never took and he never tried to make her comfortable. Since my husband, a diabetic, missed an appointment he told him to take care of his own toenails. He also kept trying to sell him fungus polish that wasn't beginning to work even after 6 months. Noooo, my whole family won't be going back to him. Great friendly staff n caring n friendly Doctor! My 92yr old father even enjoyed his visit n looks forward to his next appt!! Clean office n grounds. I would highly recommend n thank my neighbor for their referral. :)
