Dr. Montgomery truly listens to his patients. He has been my doctor for 20 yrs.

Very happy with the whole experience. My appointment was at 10:45, I arrived at 10:30 and was still at the check in desk when my pager went off. All told I walked out of the building around 11:30!!!

I always look forward to my checkups with Dr. Montgomery. I have so much to be thankful for because of his proactive approach to health care. Four years cancer free because he was so thorough resulting in early detection and treatment. First visit 15 years ago got my cholesterol under control for the first time due to the his commitment to get to the root cause. I even sleep better at night because of his insistence to have a sleep study and follow up treatment. I owe my life and its quality to his concern for his patients.

Routine six-month review of lab works, and any other concerns on my health that may have.

For nine years to date Dr Montgomery has provided superlative and nuanced oversight as my primary care physician. I have the same high regard for his staff, all working efficently as an integrated team.

They are very helpful and they answered all of my questions.

Dr. Montgomery always listens thoroughly and gives me his time. He is thorough in investigating what might be the issue and helping me with options to help myself and other treatment when necessary. He knows I will do the “homework”. That means taking his advice on how to alter my actions to improve my physical health. He is excellent at responding to me by way of My Chart and I certainly appreciate that.

Dr Montgomery has been my doctor for many years. He always listens to my concerns and sets my mind at ease when I have concerns about my health. I am thankful to have him as my doctor and appreciate all he has done for me. His nurses are top notch. Crystal is always kind and on the ball to get any need taken care of. You would think I was their only patient considering the exceptional care they provided me! The other nurse that took care of me this visit was also amazing! Very patient and kind. I can’t remember her name though.... I’m very thankful to have Dr Montgomery and his team!

My visits with Dr Montgomery are always very professional. He is a very good doctor. The bad experiences are before you get to see him. Parking is terrible, the lab wait is frustrating and long. I’m not sure how the old and disabled can deal with that.

Dr. Montgomery is always very concerned with my health and always offers any help he can possibly give. He is the best primary care physician anyone could ask for.

In 2012, I went for a checkup with Dr. Montgomery due to chronic pain. My pain so severe & treated like a Narcotic Seekin addict. Montgomery took me in the room ALONE and bullied me ferociously! I was ill & unable to stand up for myself. At the time, all I could do was Hysterically cry! The nurses heard everything with the door closed! Montgomery screamed "he refuses to prescribe pain medication to me because he is tired of being taken advantage of and I need to make better choices in my life" it never ended! 45 minutes I cried so hard begging him to listen to ME! BEGGING! After he took ALL of his Resentment out on me, he proceeded to check my chart from the tests we had run previously; which, stated that I NEEDED SURGERY!!! Montgomery in a low tone stated, "OH, you will need surgery." Referred me to an OB/GYN who caused a rare medical mistake leaving me Partially PARALYZED THREE SOLID YEARS, Battling Mental Illness & I WILL tell my Story! IG-a2zuniquelooks for updates as we go.

Dr. Christopher Montgomery I have seen him for the past 5 yrs. I would rate him as an average provider. However, his whole office including himself, the Nurse Practitioner’s and his Office staff and Black River Medical Center has changed significantly. In the past year or so he limits his practice to just one thing or issue at a time and they all refuse to address any additional issues in the same appointment forcing you to make additional appointment to get minor issues addressed. For example, I needed antibiotics for a sinus related problem and it was time for my annual Labs to be drawn. He and his staff refused to address both issues on one appointment visit. This has happened multiple times on my my past 3 or 4 visits there. I was there for only 5 minutes because they acted like they were busy but they were not. Thus this poor review on the provider and Black River Medical Center. Now it’s all about the insurance copays for the visit. The more visits, the more copays paid and the more money the get from you and your insurance. I just changed Doctors and could not be happier with my new provider who spends at least 5-10 minutes with me each visit and addresses my common and minor health issues in a timely manner. MY HUSBAND'S NAME IS WOLLIE JOHNSON. DR. MONTGOMERY WAS THE ONLY MAN WHO CARED ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE THAT WOLLIE WAS WELL TAKEN OF. CHRIS IS THE DR. THAT SAVED WOLLIE'S LIFE. TO THIS DAY, WOLLIE AND I SHOW OTHER DR'S DR. MONTGOMERY'S NOTES AND WE TELL THEM TO FOLLOW CHRIS'S INSTRUCTIONS. WE MOVED TO FLORIDA BECAUSE OF ALL THE TRAGITIES THAT HAS HAPPENED IN WOLLIE'S FAMILY. IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT, WE NEVER WOULD HAVE MOVED. WE HAVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT AND LOVE FOR CHRIS!!! Best doctor and staff aroumd!

Dr. Montgomery has been my primary physician for several years and I like him very much. He is a pleasant and very professional in handling my needs. He listens to me and makes his decision based on my information and what he knows that will help me. I trust him and I'm very happy with him, he is a great guy and a great doctor.

Low reviews because the Copper Top office has bad policies has nothing to do with the doctor. I’m there maybe once a year, Dr Montgomery remembers me, my family, and has been nothing but great since we switched from Dr Smith. He’s the first doc that seems to care and not just rush through to get to the next patient.

I tried to get my daughter established with him in 2016, but she was denied. I don’t why. I don’t know if it was because she was only 16 at the time or if he wasn’t taking new patients, but because he denied her none of the other doctors will take her now! It’s like she’s been black listed and she hasn’t done anything! I’m extremely upset about this entire situation. I’ve been a patient at Physician Park since 10-10, but after this whole ordeal I’ll be taking my business somewhere else!

Dr Montgomery has bee our primary care doctor since we moved to Poplar Bluff 13 years ago. We feel he always listens and he's cared for us through some pretty rough health issues.
