Dr Mildford is very professional since I meet him is a nice person he answer all my question.. thank you
Very rude Dr and told me not to come back just because I canceled my appointment
DR MILFORD PRESCRIBED MEDICATION FOR ME THAT MADE ME DIZZY, DISORIENTED, COULDN'T STAND UP OR DRIVE; AND I LEFT FOUR MESSAGES IN THE NEXT WEEK ASKING FOR ALTERNATIVE MEDICATIONS BUT NEVER GOT A RESPONSE. HIS NURSE SAID SHE PERSONALLY GAVE HIM THE MESSAGE TWICE; AND AFTER THREE WEEKS, HE STILL HASN'T HAD THE COURTESY OF RETURNING A CALL. Do not go to this MD! Stay away! He filled my RX incorrectly and the pharmacy would not fill them. He would not call to correct. I had to go to a quick care to get my correct medication since I was out of my seizure medication. His office is the WORST IVE EVER DELT WITH. THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. His office does not resolve issues. I am writing a complaint to Medical board.
Patient abandonment is "refusal of the physician to respond to calls or to further attend the patient." I am a medical professional and was shocked and bewildered by Dr. Milford's conduct. Dr. Milford took over Dr. Hyson's practice when he retired, laws of patient abandonment apply - meaning seeing Dr. Hyson's patients with in 30 days. It took 2 months for me to get an appointment, I explained to the receptionist I was on seizure medication and could not run out, she did not care. When I finally got an appointment Dr. Milford spent approx. 5 minutes with me. He assured me he would send my prescription to my pharmacy and I could pick it up that day. The pharmacy said the prescription directions were incorrect Dr. Milford did not respond to clarify; I could not pick up my RX. I was experiencing horrible withdrawals, could not work. For 4 days I called and no one responded to me or my pharmacy. I had to go to a quick care to be treated and get my prescription called in correctly.
My neurologist Dr. Hyson retired and I found that OUT when uI had my appt last week. I waited two hours to be seen. And the appt lasted 3 minutes. He took me off meds I needed and put me on meds without discussing me what they are. I still don't know what he put me on. So he gives me a referral for pain management and the pain management is permanently closed. And now trying to get a hold of dr. Milfords office is impossible. I want dr. hyson and his staff back. Because this is wrong. They never answer or they put the phone off the hook. And to give a patient false info on a pain management place that's PERMANENTLY CLOSED! NOT PROFESSIONAL. Dr. Christopher Milford left his practice at Silver State Neurology and is withholding patients records at his new practice at 701 Shadow Lane Suite 170. I arrived at my appointment today to “establish care” at his new office despite the fact that I was already a patient of his at the Silver State Neurology office and had had multiple brain scans and other tests run at that office. I’ve tried for almost 2 months with the help of my primary care physician to obtain my records from Dr. Milford but no one would answer calls or return faxed requests to release my medical records to myself or my primary care physician. I went in today to obtain the records after being told I would not be able to received them without having an appointment to establish care with Dr. Milford. I was then told at my appointment today to “establish care” that they did not have my records and could not obtain them. To my surprise I was not alone- I was one of four other patients of Dr Milford’s who was also trying to obtain their medical records or prescription information and all we’re being told the same thing- that they needed appointments and that they could not give out the records. I informed the office manager that she was in violation of HIPA for withholding my records from me on tests that Dr. Milford requested and had my insurance pay him for without ever releasing the results of those tests. Within 10 minutes I was waking out of the office with all of my medical records in hand - yes, the ones they had previously said they did not have and could not obtain. Unfortunately, I was the only one to be so lucky to finally obtain their records. The other patients I witnessed struggling to get their records were all turned away leaving the office defeated and heartbroken. One man told the office manager that his job is in jeopardy due to the negligence of this office I’m not releasing patients’ records to other doctors or the patients. Dr. Milford is a fraud who needs to be investigated. I’m confident I’m not the only patient he has ordered numerous tests for and has probably ordered repeats of the tests due to the records of those tests being unaccounted for as they claimed to me. This man is a fraud and needs to be stopped before more patients have to endure mistreatment of this doctor and his staff. If you get referred to his office just do yourself a favor and request a new referral to literally anyone else. Do give this man or his office the opportunity to do this to you. Dr Milford is cold and unable to make connections with his patients. He orders unnecessary tests on patients then cancels appointments to go over results of those tests and has also gone as far as withholding medical records from patients even when medical release forms are signed and requested by other physicians and the patients. You will not get the care you need or deserve with this doctor. Please look elsewhere.
This doctor has no concern for your health. He walks into a room and the ice forms. I spent a few thousand dollars with this doctor. I was misdiagnosed and put on a drug that almost took my life. I called to let the doctor know how I felt, he had no concern and told me to continue use. I had multiple test's with this doctor and still have many questions unanswered, Dr. Milford is just not worth the time and money and can be extremely DANGEROUS!
I have been seeing Dr Milford for my neuropathy since the end of 2021. 1st off he doesn't make eye contact much nor does he show empathy. Like I said I've been seeing him for a little over 6 months and out of that time I've only saw him 3x (2 office visits that last around 5-10 mins and 1 test). He doesnt exchange information well at all, and isnt very personable. So anyhow, he put me on 1 medication when I started seeing him. AFTER I had to reschedule my last appointment with his office due to family emergency, I've now been scheduled out another 2 months (which is absolutely rediculous) and left without my medication for 5 days now and I'll be leaving town for a few days, leaving me without my medication for longer. Info on withdrawals says it can last up to 2 wks and can be mild to severe, not looking forward to those either, i am already experiencing symtoms of withdrawal. Now, I've been waiting 5 days for a response and NOTHING. So I called this morning to ask, "Is there anyway you can help me mabey get thru to someone that can help me with sending over an Dr's authorization because I left a message friday...", and the woman at the front desk making appointments, granted, with an attitude of killing me with kindness cuts me off and says, "Well, that's probably why no one's contacted you, because they don't work on Friday's hun (hehe), have you left a message since?", ME :, "Ummm yes, like I was trying to say, I left one friday, one Monday, and Now one today and still NO call back and I'm now withdrawing." HER: "Well, you can to leave a message and they will call you back." ME: "So, obviously your not going to be much help either, so have a great day HUN!", and just like how was I supposed to know their schedule for filling meds, Ive been to this office 3x and I'm suppose to know that the person that calls in the prescriptions doesn't work on Friday's?!? So basically, NO help there. I will be finding a new Neurologist when I get back in town! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR $... research before choosing a Dr of any kind. I learned my lesson listening to others saying how great of a Dr he/she is, next time I'll make sure I do my research 1st. I'D LEAVE NO STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! Dr and staff are poor at treating patients with dignity and quality care. Dr. Christopher Milford is a great doctor. He has helped my daughter for a few years now. And we appreciate ALL of the testing he has done on her when others haven't because without having those testing done you wouldn't know if something is wrong. Don't waste your time. No bedside manner whatsoever, no explanations and most of all no patience. Won't even look you in the eyes. The best part is I told him I worked on the strip, and before I could answer, he assumed I was a dishwasher or a busser because I was hispanic. Imbecile.
Worst doctor i have ever encountered. He has screwed up my life in so many ways all from a false report. Now I’m having to hire an attorney and I’ve reported him to the medical board. Unfortunately they told me it takes up to year but hopefully something comes of it. If i was dying on the side of the street i wouldn’t accept help from this dr. STAY AWAY!!! This “doctor” has made the last 5 months a living hell. He terminated me as a client and without my knowledge sent in a form to the dmv to get my drivers license suspended. He had no proof of any seizure and did not submit any dates of any seizures on the form. The test he did run was inconclusive. He wanted to do another test which would have been around $1,500. I contested and asked if there was any other way to verify without the test or if there was any additional avenues. Two weeks later I received the letter that I was terminated and that my license would be suspended. Interesting that he would terminate me as a client after I didn’t agree to pay for the additional expensive test. I have since been to various other doctors who ran the same test and additional tests and have no idea why he would say that I’m having seizures. This guy is the worst and I wouldn’t recommend him to my worst enemy. If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m surprised this dude is still in business since other reviewers have posted similar reviews. WARNING!!!!!! My wife was referred to this quack by a spine clinic after they noticed her having aggressive spasms in her arm. After the initial visit, he scheduled a blood test, EEG, and MRI, for severe tremors. Milford thenTERMINATED his care with her BEFORE he received the results from the blood test and EEG, and prior to the MRI. I didn't know a physician could even do this! No referral to another doctor, no referral to a specialized clinic, NOT A DAMN THING. He Billed Medicare for the tests, then sent out a bill to the us for the remaining balance. I was referred to this dr and so happy I finally saw someone that could help me. Dr Milford was Kind and observant.
Was referred by a friend and seen right away. Little bit of a wait but not bad considering the dr was busy and made time for me. Thanks!
Don’t Waste your time. Waited an hour or longer. He showed no interest in helping me finally manage a genetic collagen disorder EDS. I have had to advocate for myself for 17 years. He instantly stereotyped me likely as it’s all in my head or o wanted meds. NOPE ?? I needed help, the next day I get a certified letter being dismissed from his care. I have had now multiple specialists do this now with managing this condition. He doesn’t care about patients. I’ll be reporting him to medical board. Awful -22929/10 recommend!! I got no answers and came After waiting months to be seen. Left with zero answers. He barely spoke and I’ll figure out what to do and did nothing. Reporting him to my insurance!
Bad office, employees yelling at each other in hall and he is not doing anything about it I learned more of this office at that moment than the 2 minutes he spend reviewing my 20 test I had there. First visit was good testing was good but after anything else was bad
WASTED EMG. GO ELSEWHERE!!! Needed definitive test for broken screw. Was fastest EMG I ever had & Dr. Milford had no interest. EMGs are needed for a purpose and a reason to determine if a nerve if a pinched and WHERE. He could have cared less. I have had four others over 25 years as I have had various pinched nerves at different parts of my body. DO NOT GO HERE. ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. HE COULD CARE LESS. Kind and friendly dr & staff.
I was pleased when I was referred to this dr, he was pleasant and answered all of my questions.

My awesome wife stops dr. Milford’s staff from stealing from us. Hello, everyone. I rarely write reviews but my experience has been so poor I just had to write one. my story starts when the medical assistant calls my wife to set up a payment plan, my wife who is extremely awesome and vigilant, asked why and stated that our insurance should cover all expenses to which the medical assistant says they ran the insurance and we still have a 500 dollar copay which is outrages for my insurance. She says ok, that she will call the insurance company and see what’s going on and hangs up and uses the app to estimate our out of pocket exspense for my visit and it kept coming up as us owing nothing not even an office visit co pay. I go in for my appointment and my ever vigilant wife told me to have them run the insurance again, i did and they said the same thing the co pay would be 500 dollars. I say ok go and do my tests and when I come out, the office lady hands me a pile of paperwork “proving that they ran my insurance” I say ok set up a payment plan and go home. Now here comes my superhero of wife her super power is burocracy and she looks over the paperwork and says this doesn’t prove anything and finally calls the insurances company. They agree that they are trying to double charge us and the insurance company. I go and complain and say I want a refund for the money I already paid, they say oh sorry for the mistake I’ll give you a refund as soon as the insurance goes through. Now 2 weeks after the insurance paid them they tell us that they just got paid and it will be another 2 weeks before they send us a check. So all in all be careful going there they will try to steal from you My awesome wife stops dr. Milford’s staff from stealing from us. Hello, everyone. Dr. Milford has great bedside manner, but that’s all he has. Everyone is friendly, but they don’t return calls, don’t fill Rx. I was with them for about a year. It took me 8 business days to get a refill when I told them and the Pharmacy I need this filled in 7 business days I’m going out of town for 4 days I will only have enough for 2 of those days without my refill. (Before you start fussing me for waiting so late, my insurance only lets me fill it every 25 days. I don’t have a choice.) The final straw was when they tried to charge me $1900 and I had the test done with another doctor’s office for $430. Feel free to read my full terrible experience but the just of it is this place is getting reported to the insurance company and I do not recommend anyone going here because they are not just screwing the insurance companies which raises rates, but they are screwing over the patients they pretend to care so much about. See my full experience below: I was glad that Dr. Milford did all the test because I had an EEG showed seizure activity, but now I wonder how many of those test was I over charged? So anyway an ambulatory EEG was ordered and approved by the insurance. I made sure it was approved because I’ve already paid full price of 2 test that were denied by the insurance but I’d already had them done. So I was told when I booked the appt for the VEEG the test would be $289. 4 weeks later, when they called to confirm my appt they asked us I knew about the co-payment and I said yes I was told about the like $290 and the girl on the phone goes ‘oh I’m sorry, that’s not correct. With your deductible and copay it’s going to be $1800 and they will want at least $500 down.’ I explain I have in writing that it will be $289 and she tells me she sees that in my record and apologizes. Doesn’t know why ‘Ashley’ would write that. Ok, mistakes happen and I really need this test. The insurance wasn’t covering my brand medication when I first moved here, upside I found out after you have a seizure on your 4th medication in 2 years, they cover the brand that had you seizure free for over 8 years. Back to the office, so I explained that if I was told they would need $500 down when I booked the appt 4 weeks ago I could have made those arrangements. So they agree to a payment plan with $200 down and I keep my appt. Show up 8am the next morning and I arrive at the office to fill out and sign the payment agreement and I see the test listed at $1913, so I ask the girl at the desk if this is the price of the whole test she says yes. Now I’m mad. “Are you telling me that my insurance is only covering $113 of this test?” She grabs the paper and goes ‘Oh no I’m sorry, that’s not right.’ Whiteouts the price and puts in like $2600 and hands it back. At this point I read the document and it’s a contract stating that if the insurance doesn’t pay the above price that I am the responsible person. Oh hell no! At this point I canceled my appt. none of this feels right. I’m now confused and I don’t trust anything they are saying. They are either completely incompetent or they are running a scam. I went to another doctor that a friend the works in the industry recommended to get my test done. With my deductible and copay... it was $432. Also he is the doctor that worked with me to get my brand back. If you’ve made it all the way here, I think it’s fair to say I am now seeing Dr. Tariq at Nevada Neurology Institute. He may not have the same bedside manner as Dr. Milford, but that’s because he’s not blowing smoke up your... anyway I’ve reported Dr. Milford’s office to my insurance. Dr. Milford is a great physician; however, his staff are very incompetent! Milford wrote an order for referral to a neuro ophthalmologist, the staff failed to get authorization from VA and I was stuck in this office for 2 hours. Called the staff to get authorization and I was on hold for 14 minutes and Ashley said I needed to speak to Emily. Called Emily and she was out to lunch and was transferred to Ashley. Ashley was worthless, I spoke to her 2 weeks prior to my appointment and assured me she would get authorization. I asked for Mary, the manager, on hold for 10 minutes and someone came on and said she was busy. Dr.Milford is a great physician. Very professional answered all my questions and concerns
Was referred by my primary care dr. Easily got in and dr was thorough and pleasant. Easy to find and clean office.
DO NOT GO HERE! DR. MILFORD WILL ORDER UNNECESSARY TESTS JUST TO GET MORE MONEY FROM YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE! My wife was seen by Dr. Milford almost two years ago. He forced her to take medication that wasn't for epilepsy and, when she said she didn't want to take it, his office threatened to "report" her for "non-compliance." Then, he ordered a 4-day EEG. His staff put the EEG cap on wrong and wires kept falling off. Before the results were in, he was getting pre-auths for a more expensive test. Insurance called my wife, who called his office, who said it was "normal." When the results from her 4-day EEG came back, the report was inconclusive because of the issues with the wires. Then came the $400+ bill for the EEG (on top of the large co-pay for each day of the EEG my wife already paid). My wife challenged it to the insurance company. Dr. Milford agreed to write-off the balance owed, but is now threatening to send her to collections over two years later. DO NOT GO HERE!
I was referred by my new health plan to Dr. Milford, after I had explained to my doctor that I'd never go to him again. I was referred to him last year with some numbness and pain in my hand. I provided him with my health records. As I was checking out I was told he prescribed something for pain & numbness, which we hadn't mentioned. If he had looked at my records or spoken to me he would have known I couldn't take one of the meds due to ulcers and the other could cause suicidal thoughts.
He's completely ABUSIVE to women; PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER DOCTOR UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HARRASSED. Degrades his clients, doesn't give information to help. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.
Most unprofessional person I have ever met. Just closed his office in Lake Havasu Arizona, didn’t call or notify me at all. Didn’t refer to another doctor. Found out when my physical therapist said my therapy is canceled because he left. Went to his office and was told “too bad. If you have a problem call the medical board. I can't speak for everyone prior to this message but I was in the office yesterday. The front desk staff was very polite and did what they needed to do. I got some nerve and muscle testing done and the tech who did it was very friendly and exceptional at what she did. Saw Dr. Milford for a quick moment (He had to stick me with some needles). He was quick and on point. Seemed like he was a little shy but he was informative and I am happy with the whole process.

Never even saw the Doctor. Many tests scheduled plus 3 MRI's. Never asked one question about my condition. office called several times to change appointment for the same day or next day that were originally scheduled in June. Called the day before my second appointment, and I call back 20 minutes later to confirm. Got a call on my way to office while driving that my appointment was at a different time, earlier. When I got and tried to talk to the office staff, rude and condescending. Walked out

I recently went to Dr. Mildford. I was so disappointed in the service I received. This doctor ordered several tests. Ultrasound, X-Rays and three MRI's. Once I got to see him after his staff called and canceled my follow-up three times HE NEVER TALKED ABOUT MY TEST RESULTS. In fact, he recommended me to have a surgery which I already had. After that he gave me the same examination I had on my previous visit. I left his office totally confused, I will not see him again.

This doctor is awesome they take time to lesson to you about your illness and and help you throw it thank you so very much they are wonderful.
Doctor Milford is great but the front staff are not the best. They have gotten better. This is why I gave him 4 out of 5 stars. I have been seeing him for 2 years now. His bedside manners are not like other doctors but that doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is talking about or knows what he is doing. Keep in mind he has a ton of patients so I think that is why he can't spend much time with you.
I would give a 0 if I could. This guy is a total joke. My wife was a patient of his until today. She has a sezuire disorder and has a (VNS)vega nerve stemaltore which is a medical device to take her out of the sezuire. He has been seeing my wife for about 6 months well the last few days she had too many and been in/out of the hospital. She had an appointment today wouldn't you know she had 1 in front him. That should be a thing one would think. WRONG instead he freaks out and stood there with his thumb in his mouth and she goes back to the hospital instead of him doing his job. If he can't handle a sezuire patient then he in the wrong field especially when he spousebly a neurologist. Did he get his degree and linsence from a craker jack box? I would give a 0 if I could. This guy is a total joke. My wife was a patient of his until today. She has a sezuire disorder and has a (VNS)vega nerve stemaltore which is a medical device to take her out of the sezuire. This doctor is a complete and utter joke his office staff are flaky, and they never return your phone calls. Liz, Maria, and demarrus are the usual suspects for providing the worst customer service. Dr. Milford and his assistant are there to just collect a co pay the doctor shows no emotional attachment to his patients. If I could I would give this doctor 0 out of 5 just because of his unprofessional nature as a so called doctor. The medical board should have never given him his license as he is disrespectful, and inconsiderate. I did not have a good experience with this physician or his staff. I am a physician myself and brought my father in there to be evaluated for possible memory loss. The nurse who initially got the history from my father and did a short memory exam (MMSE), was very unfriendly and had very little personality. He only missed 1 out of 30 which is considered normal by most. When we actually saw the physician, after only a couple minutes in the room and doing a very limited exam, he said that my father probably had early Alzheimer's disease and wanted to start him on a medication for his memory. I repeat, this was the first time we ever saw this physician and had not had any other testing or radiology imaging done at this point. That was completely uncalled for and not the standard in this profession at all. Because of my objection and request for additional testing, he referred us for more extensive questioning to determine the extent, if any, of my father's cognitive loss. However, his office was completely unhelpful with this and continually dropped the ball. It has been almost 3 months and we still have not seen someone for this additional questioning and testing. Because I am a physician, this neurologist was nice enough to give me his card with his cell phone number. Because of all the problems in the office, I called him after about a month of this nonsense and told him how unhelpful his office was and how my father has still been unable to complete the testing. He assured me he would personally follow up and get to the bottom of the problem. That was over a month ago and I still have not heard anything. I've been consulting this doctor in 2013-2014. It's pure business rather than doctor visit. Long waits there & when asked for a reason rude behaviour. Diagnosis also not good.
I have a bad experience with this office too, especially his staffs didn't play attention while we have call in and left voice mail but never return called, I don't know after close to the shift what were they staffs doing, don't they check the messages? I saw Dr. Milford and was very happy with his office, staff and recommendations for testing. The office staff was very nice, the testing was done by friendly and efficient persons who explained what they were doing and made me feel comfortable. On my initial visit Dr. Milford listened to my words and moved forward in an efficient manner to refer me for testing, ie: x-rays and testing in his office regarding my symptoms. I am looking forward to my follow up visit which is scheduled in the near future, unlike some offices I have been to. Two weeks, not two months! I would refer any of my friends to Dr. Milford at this point in time. I saw Dr. Milford and was very happy with his office, staff and recommendations for testing. I am totally unhappy with this neurologist and his staff! Uncaring and unprofessional. Dr. Milford barely took time (30 seconds) to exam my son who has a major concussion. He barely (as in no way could he hear a beat or breathe) checked his heart or lungs or check anything while in the office. The doctor left the room for the nurse to find out just how bad his memory and skills were. We left the office knowing nothing more than we had when we showed up. Highly disappointed!!!!

wait time is 2-2.5 hours, than the doctor spends 5 minute just to give you tones of MRI, ultra sounds and more. never said hi, never smile never took time to sit down, hi and bye. Never seen him again. when I came for results I had to see the PA all the time and he had no answer what to do with me. The staff is as bad, no respect, no answering calls more than 48 hours after or the phone was ringing and ringing until the patient gives up. Bad experience, will never go there again.

Dr. Milford is one of the best doctors I have had and met. He is the nicest and most caring doctors I have met. He makes me feel like I can actually trust him. He knows what he is doing and he explains to me step by step and talks to me in my kind of level. Dr. Milford is very understanding and is always willing to listen to what I have to say. He is one of the best doctors, I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Milford is very knowledgeable and was able to explained to me my condition, yes there is a waiting time but once I spoke to the friendly front desk girl she was able to calm me down and once in the back I understood the wait time he spend a lot of time with me and explaining my condition overall it was a good consultation and even better follow up.......:)

Dr ordered completely unnecessary tests. Office staff is disorganized. it took two and a half weeks for them to get a referral to the testing facility and even then it was incomplete. Dr prescribed a new medication which he never told me about. I didn't know about it until the pharmacy called me to say I had a prescription to pick up.

Dr. Out and out lied to me. Told me to stop taking heart med. and take something else, even though I had open heart surgery last year, this without talking with my heart Dr. Ordered an MRI when he knew I had a pacemaker and could not have an MRI. Coded a blood test, necessary to have a ct scan with contrast, incorrectly and will not change code causing us to pay $400.00 of unnecessary cost. Refused to be my doctor after he had an "I AM IN CHARGE HERE" moment. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Worst doctor ever, & even worse staff. Wait times at LEAST an hour. Once waited 3hrs for a scheduled apnt. Only saw dr on initial consult when he ordered tests for suspected seizures, after that he pawned me off to the nurse. After she quit I finally saw him and he was completely unaware of my results & treatment nurse was giving for the past yr. His staff never handles anything in a timely manner. I am out of my refill of seizure meds and have been trying for 3 wks to get refilled. STAY AWAY!!!

They recommend unnecessary testing, will not return calls, forward lab analysis to out of network providers. Would never refer anyone to this office.
Dr Milford is very knowledgeable in his field. He truly cares about his patients health and I feel very grateful to have found him.

Dr. Milford is an experienced, very thorough neurologist. He orders definitive tests and prescribes minimal medications to achieve desired results...and gets excellent results. However, his office staff is not responsive and needs prodding. But Dr. Milford is outstanding.
Dr Milford was ok. However, he prescribed a pain reliever for me and when I went to get it there was no prescription for me. I went from his office directly to the pharmacy. Today is day 6 without pain medication. Dr Milford advised me to stop what I had been taking. I feel that this is totally unprofessional.
