If I could add zero, I would. He seemed super nice and knowledgeable. He then proceeded to ignore serious symptoms I had and tell me I had “allergies and a migraine.” I ended up having multiple brain surgeries and having permanent eye damage that would have been prevented had he done his job. I have always had a great relationship with Dr Messitt. Whenever I have to see him for any problem he always gives me his full attention. Listens to my problem and gives me a complete explanation as to what his recommendation would be. I like the fact, that not like some doctors, he never in a rush

Unfortunately Dr Messitt caused irreversible damage to my body throughout by ignoring my multiple symptoms daily, my high calcium, and my cries for help in repeatedly saying I believe I had an illness that several yrs later was found by another Dr. That Dr. confirmed I must have had parathyroid disease for over a decade based on the symptoms and size of the tumor. I have since had tumor removed, but the damage is done and I live in daily severe pain. Worse, I never received a call from Dr. Messitt to follow up after my surgery. I would give him zero stars because frankly, he should've taken my monthly visits and teary eyed hopelessness and pain seriously. Very professional. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Messit and his staff at their current office location in Clifton Park.

Dr. Messitt is a very caring and experienced practitioner. He takes the time to really listen and give patients the opportunity to discuss their care and treatment. He always has a smile on his face and you never feel rushed. My family and I recommend Dr. Messitt highly.

Dr Messitt is amazing, very trust worthy, but just recently his front office staff has changed and I am not impressed, I have been a patient here for years and this is the first time I can say they have a staff member that is not friendly or welcoming. Truly ashame. This new women is truly miserable and rude.
