Dr. Christopher C Kang

Had annual check up with Dr. Kang(I always make an appointment with him). However, sitting in the waiting room for 10 mins, a nurse practitioner came it to see me (Reo Jin kim) and I felt very uncomfortable because the way she spoke with me and I specifically wanted to see Dr. Kang to discuss about my past prescriptions and some of the symptoms I had. He came in while the nurse was talking to me. however, she was talking way too much like I went there to see her. I don’t care if I gotta wait to see a specific doctor. It’s kinda rude for them to send a NP bc they thought Dr is going to take a while to see me. (that’s an excuse bc he came in after 5 mins to check on me). I am not a person who typically leave reviews but I was very upset and felt unpleasant because of the nurse and how she spoke with me (RUDE). If I really want to see a nurse I can go somewhere closer to my house but I’m making appointments weeks ahead of time for a reason which is to see Dr. Kang. He would have made my visit way faster and simple. If you guys are considering this clinic, go to Dr. Kang. He’s the only doctor there and really good with his patients and knows what he’s going.

Frustrated visits and unorganized places. It was my annual check up weeks ago, they couldn’t take blood sample because lab personnel didn’t show up. I had to second visit for blood sampling today. Once turned to me they realized no blood order, afterward of waiting and adding order, asked urine sample but they did it in the last visit and I couldn’t take it today due to I already stopped rest room. They always asking additional tests that are required cost. Also, they gave unnecessary shot even though I asked to verify what I got, but they assumed and gave a shot. It is unprofessional. I will not continue with this office.

I came because I was so sick and I had no one to take care of me. The service was superb and welcoming; I could tell that they really cared for the patients they saw. I had an appointment with NP Lynn and she was really detailed and understanding of my situation. Her follow up was really great too and when I was getting IV, she came to check on me in between other patients to make sure I was well. Highly recommend! :)

Would definitely recommend. Dr. Kang is one of the few doctors who actually treats you as a person and doesn't just order some tests and be done with it. He tries to spend as much time with you to get to know you- willing to go past the appointment time limit- but at the same time respecting professional boundaries. I'm sure that most people who did not have a good experience here was because of the wait time at the beginning, but that is because he tries to spend a lot of time with the patients. The front office also tries their best to accommodate to the patients' needs, and I think at times there are misunderstandings that lead people to think otherwise.
