Dr. Christopher Andrew Heck

After a total of 28and a half hours of Surgery, 8 curved rods, 29 attachment screws, 3 cages, 3 clamps and a double hand full of assorted hardware allowed Dr Heck, Lauren, Many Surgical Staff and THE GOOD LORD, to put me back together. After months of therapy, whining, crying and fussing (to no avail) I’m walking not running. Doing things many said NOT TO and I would never do again. My Doctor list includes Dr Jack Hughston, Dr James Andrews, Dr Hamp Greene, Dr Donavan Kendricks, Dr Bradley Katz, Dr Ronald Hester or a few that I put Dr Heck in the class with. There is NO PERFECT Person on this Earth, if you ever have someone even speak like they are. I advise You to go as quickly as possible away from them. Dr Heck, I will say did everything possible I believe for Me. When You go through what We did together you either end up really good Friends or the other. Thank GOODNESS We are Friends. YES, I Recommend him

Dr Heck is wonderful. His staff is also wonderful. Had surgery on my back two times for different things and everything was great.

Two years after a minor surgery from Dr.Heck, I just had repair surgery from neurosurgeon at St Vincents to repair the damage from my surgery from Heck. I nearly died from getting staph infection, in ICU for a week and hospital in and out for a year getting infection cleared. The infection ate my spine and couldn’t even get Dr Heck to return calls. You are risking your life and livelihood if you allow this Doctor to touch your back!!! Leave it to the experts..,neurosurgeons!!!! This Doctor lacks empathy to help people. I hear nurses call him the God of Grandview and drives a Maserati!!! He’s just into the money from my experience!! Insurance companies should look at him closely cause he cost them a fortune with his arrogance to ignore my pain. I told him something didn’t work in the surgery and he sent me to therapy like a fool. Never did follow MRI and he would have seen the problem!!! run run run cause your life does depend on it!!!!

I was referred and he was not there and neither was my x Ray's or MRI. So they took another x ray which was unnecessary and was told to go to P.T. and have some shots this after I was told my back was very bad spurs, herniated disc arthritis etc. I have been in horrific pain can't do anything and they want me to go do exercises. The nurse practitioner did not even tell me or show me the paper report I ask for a copy but never got it. Just another run around for insurance money. And it will go up again because of all this crap.

he let me suffer night and day. my pain is so bad i cannot sleep , turning, begging God for help he knows i suffer you think u know me and my past

Dr.Heck. Is the best back surgery I ever went to he was the only one after 10 years of back problems he told me on my first visit what it was he is great at what he does I will tell everyone about him.

Dr. Heck has operated on both of my parents, and he did a great job. He explained their problems thoroughly, and he was always available to answer questions. He wants the best outcomes for his patients.

I haven’t had surgery yet but going to have it in February. I was wanting to see if anyone has had the surgery for flat back syndrome. I have had 3 lumbar surgeries and 1 cervical spine surgery. Now I need the curviture put back in my spine, so I can stand up straight. If anyone has had the flat back repair surgery by Dr. Heck please let me know. Message me please or facebook. Thank you

I have been having back problems for quite a few years now. I had went to doctor after doctor trying to find out what was going on, but they would say "we don't see anything". Well a friend of mine suggested that I make an appointment with Dr. Heck and I'm so glad he did. Dr. Heck suggested that I go have a discogram done, and long story short I had to get fusion did on my L4-L5. I went in yesterday 9/26/2019 had my surgery today I'm home recovering with very little pain that is come from the incisions he made to do the operation. If you're in pain from your back I suggest Dr. Heck

He gets straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything, which is what I like! My lumbar fusion went great and I was back to work in two weeks! Couldn't have asked for anyone better!

Dr. Heck knew I was experiencing extreme back pain. He did an X-ray and exam and then told me he wanted me to start with physical therapy, and he would see me again in a month. He offered no prescription to help with immediate relief of my severe pain. He indicated that losing weight would be advisable. All fine, but I had been experiencing frequent sharp stabbing pains for days and left there with nothing to help. He suspected inflammation yet gave me nothing to stop the tremendous pain..
