What a wonderful doctor. He explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions about the procedure.

I was pleased with overall service, staff handled a change in X-ray appointment efficiently, Dr Hawkins explained procedure in detail and had “good hands” with a needle.

I have seen any orthopedic surgeons in my life. Many have been excellent. Dr. Hawkins is among those. He is knowledgeable, upbeat and friendly. Just had surgery with him a few weeks ago and I feel it was a success

Awesome, Great Doctor and fun guy to visit with! Treated my shoulder pain with cortisone shots and we BS’d about workouts! He Carries a really positive and contagious vibe!

Dr. Hawkins is amazing. Besides being friendly and sincere, he takes the time to talk about options, both immediate and in the future. Dr. H listens, and works with you to come up with a plan. I feel that he truly cares about his patients’ wellbeing. I never feel like I am pushed through at OAA, like I have at other medical offices. Dr. H keeps me on my feet and moving!

Consult regarding potential knee replacement surgery. Dr Hawkins was very through, answering all my questions.

Dr. Hawkins was very knowledgeable about shoulders. After reviewing my x-rays, he recommended a shoulder replacement. Perhaps a bit too quickly. I would have liked a written summary of his diagnosis.

Dr. Hawkins made you feel very relaxed as soon as he walked in the room. He asked me where my pain was and had me demonstrated the issue I was having. Listened first, then had me demonstrate my issue. This is what a good dr. looks/acts like.

It was 1.5 yrs since my surgery and I had some additional issue and he walked right in when I had my appointment and talked to me like I was just there yesterday and remembered the surgery..had options after reviewing the xray I had 5 minutes prior to the appointment. Very thorough and straight forward physician.

Wonderful interaction with patients. Pretty clear Chris knows his business too. I first saw him about 15 years ago to operate on my shoulder. He seems to have gotten even better with age.

Dr. Hawkins did an AMAZING job on my ACL reconstruction. When I met with him for a consultation he was considerate, patient, knowledgable and willing to teach me, and gentle. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. He also talked with me multiple times before doing the surgery that day. It was obvious that he is passionate and loves what he does. If I could give him more than 5 star I absolutlyey would. His staff is also phenomenal & he does surgery at the surgery center of Allentown. Their staff is great

Dr. Hawkins and the entire OAA team are excellent. We were referred to Dr Hawkins by Dr. Larry Weiss and and although we travel 70 minutes to get to Dr. Hawkins, are glad we went to Dr. Hawkins. Excellent care and good communication, including with my 17-year old daughter who tore her ACL. The practice is extremely well-fun - and exemplifies excellence in patient experience. Highly recommend.

As a member of the healthcare community for all of my adult life I am very careful as to the practitioners with whom I entrust my care. I would be happy to have Dr. Hawkins care for the orthopedic needs of anyone in my family or circle of friends. His PAs have always been equally professional, knowledgeable, courteous and readily available.

Had knee problems and recommended I see another specialist. He was a waste of time and his p.a. wasn't any better...very rude.

I had a very complicated knee injury. Dr. Hawkins did a great job of repairing my fractured patella and torn tendon. His bedside manner was the best I have ever seen. His staff is wonderful if you have questions they give you all the time and attention you need. I highly recommend Dr Hawkins and OAA
