Dr. Frendo is the best surgeon! He is caring, dedicated, and compassionate. When I got hurt at work a few years ago my life was in complete turmoil. I had done physical therapy, every kind of pain relief injections out there, and nerve ablations. I suffered for years and none of these interventions brought me any long term relief. As months turned to years I became desperate for answers and help. Every doctor told me I just needed to rest, but honestly I knew in my heart I wasn’t getting better. In fact I was getting worse. When I went to Dr. Frendo I was desperate to find help. He sat with me, listened attentively, and assured me things were not hopeless. I knew from that day that I had found the right doctor. Dr. Frendo never gave up on me and that motivated me to not give up. In December 2020 he performed ACDF surgery on my cervical spine and in January 2022 he performed surgery on my lumbar spine. I trust Dr. Frendo completely and he is truly a gifted surgeon.

Dr. Frendo has taken his time and explained all my options in a very non rushed way. He takes the time to listen, and explain all my options. The entire practice is first class. So far there has been little waiting too. I highly recommend the Long Island Spinal team.

Had a successful surgery for a severe l5/S1 disc herniation. Great service and friendly staff

This doctor is very friendly, informative, and competent. From the first time I met him I felt comfortable letting him do a very serious surgery on my spine. He spends as much time as needed answering questions and listening to concerns. My surgery was 3/23. My drop foot is already repaired and I am up and around more than I have been in months. There should be more doctors like Dr Frendo. I thank him and his staff for a job well done and for treating the patient like a human being.

Dr. Frendo did a lumbar spine surgery on me and the results were excellent. I was walking around with such pain before and I immediately noticed the difference. He is a very kind, skilled, knowledgeable surgeon.

I had surgery(L5-S1) on 3/18/2015, almost 3 years ago....and I feel amazing! I will admit, it took a little while for me to get back to normal, but it was definitely a mental thing & it didn’t have anything to do with the actual procedure. I quickly went from being a healthy mother of 2 young children to what felt like a 90 yr old woman in just 3 months. It was so scary! But thanks to Dr. Frendo, I’m now 40 yrs old and I feel younger, stronger & healthier than ever! Thank you Dr. Frendo!

Dr.Frendo, phenomenal surgeon! Wonderful person in general.I can't thank you enough for getting my painless life back!Performed L5 S1 laminectomy and discectomy. On the surgery day I already felt relief from my sciatic pain.I Can Only Imagine when I am finished with recovery how great I will feel!I was nervous about surgery but Dr.Frendo made me feel at ease. Thank you so much to you and your team of specialist! I will never forget you for what you have done!! My best to you and your family!!

Dr. Frendo did my lumbar fusion and cervical fusion and they were both very successful. His bedside manner is excellent all of my expectations were 100% and all of the info that he gave me was 100% so I was completely ready for both surgeries all my questions were answered and I knew what to expect and my quality of life has improved tremendously, I highly recommend him

2 weeks post surgery and I need to thank Dr Frendo for working his magic. I felt so at ease before and after the surgery with him and his associates . I am so thankful I had him as my surgeon

Dr. Frendo changed my life I went from severe pain and not being able to walk or sleep to pain free and normal walking the day after surgery. He has excellent bed side manner and answers all of my questions and concerns and always makes me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Frendo did my cervical surgery and it was a success and I would have not been able to continue in my career had it no been for this life changing surgery Dr Frendo is incredibly kind he always takes his time to answer all of my questions and I am confident in his medical expertise. I highly recommend him I am grateful that I have my life back pain free.

Dr Frendo is amazing I come all the way from North Carolina to see him. I have been his patient for a long time and he has always been very honest with me. He has given me top care my surgery with him was a success and he always takes his time to answer all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr Frendo he is the best of the best the top to me his mannerism is fantastic he makes me feel like family. His medical expertise is superb than any other dr of his specialty that I have come across.

From the start of my experience with Dr Frendo's office was a pleasure from calling in for my appointment the girls were nice and checking into to the front desk to the nurse that took me in Dr Frendo made me feel very comfortable and he was very nice took his time to answer all of my questions and I am pleased with his recommendations

Dr Christopher Frendo and the staff are wonderful!! I had major neck surgery with him and I am doing much better I have full range of motion in my neck he changed my life last year I was suffering terribly and I am so thankful to him. He is a very skilled surgeon and I hardly even have a scar on my neck. People don't even believe that I have had major neck surgery until I show them my xray. I was scared to death to have this surgery but Dr Frendo comforted me and answered all of my questions

Dr. Frendo is a very talented surgeon. He always takes the time to answer all of my questions & is very thorough with me. I had pain in my shoulder but Dr. Frendo found out that it was coming from my neck he did my surgery & now I am back to my life before pain & now the pain is gone from my shoulder & I have full range in my neck. I am so grateful with all of the care and surgery that I have received from Dr. Frendo. I highly recommend him and this practice and the staff here is amazing.

I am a person that suffered for years with lower back pain and had tried all the other options to get relief from the pain with no success.As a last resort I had the surgery in September of this year and I am so glad that I did. I had been seen by a different MD before Dr.Frendo but when I researched his background and saw the special instrumentation that was used during my surgery that sealed the deal for me.I would openly and gladly recommend him as a referral to anyone with back pain.
