Dr Dwyer is a kind professional Doc. He listens and treats you like a person that cares. My experience with him and his offices were spot on and his medical skills are top notch. Highly recommend him if you are in need of a Colo Rectal doctor

Dr. Dwyer found out what was wrong with me and saved my life! Not only is he thorough and kind, he is knowledgeable and a great doctor. The sensitivity of his office reduces anxiety greatly and his sense of humor makes it much less stressful. Simply the best!

Dr. Dwyer is very professional and personable. He did a very complicated surgical procedure on me (laparoscopic) which involved removing the diseased part of my colon (due to diverticular disease) and reconnecting it. He also did a colovaginal/colovesical fistula takedown during this procedure. I was only in the hospital for 3 nights and two weeks later I was fully recovered. He explained the procedure fully before the surgery and what to expect and everything went exactly as he said it would. He is an extremely skilled surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Dwyer is very personable and we feel very confident in his abilities and expertise. He also doesn’t drag his feet at all. He diagnosed my husband with a partially obstructing mass in colon and within 2 weeks scheduled surgery. We are going to hospital now. It is wonderful when you trust and believe in your Doctor and know he really cares about his patients.

Went in to Dr Dwyer for issues. Great patient/doctor manners. Just awesome. Had colonoscopy and found tumor. Ended up being cancer. Dr Dwyer ALWAYS made me feel comfortable with my visits. A year later had to have full rectal excision and couldn’t have had a better person taking care of me. I’m 49 today and feel like Dr Dwyer and I will have lifelong friends/patient/doctor relationship. I’ll drive hours if necessary to follow up with him.

Dr. Dywer is highly professional, has great bedside manner, and the perfect sense of humor for his line of work. He did an excellent job explaining my surgery both before and after the procedure. I was referred to him by my primary care physician, and from the moment I met Dr. Dwyer I knew my doctor had placed me in the right hands. I never had a moment of fear or anxiety because of Dr. Dwyer's concise explanations, instructions, drawings, and encouragement.

They squeezed me in same day for an appointment when I was in pain. They got me right back to the room within 2 minutes of arriving and Dr Dwyer explained what I was dealing with, then explained how he could help and did so. I was done within 15 minutes and he immediately relieved the pain I was having. The staff were super friendly and overall a very professionally run practice. Cant recommend them enough!

Very good doctor

I was referred to Dr. Dwyer after complaining to my doctor about itching and occasional bleeding. He diagnosed me in his office with pruritis, but the colonoscopy was done because I had not had one in years and because of the bleeding. It was wonderful to learn that I had minor hemorrhoids, no polyps or signs of cancer. He has a great sense of humor, telling me that my procedure was boring. I recommend him highly and Trinity Surgical Center as well.

Dr.Dwyer is amazing!!!great bedside manner and a wonderful personality I was in alot of pain we decided on the surgery and let me tell you i was a little scared, well yesterday was the big day and he did an awesome job i am in pain as expected lol .. its going to be a 2-4 week recovery i was warned but seriously if u need an amazing proctologist hes your GUY!!!8/14/20

My pcp recommended I go to Dr. Dwyer because I was suffering extreme pain from hemorrhoids and found out I had a fissure. Dr. Dwyer patiently listened and explained the course of action he would like to follow. I agreed. With the initial treatment, I was pain free for about 6 months and the pain returned so he gently explained I would need to have surgery and that it would be painful but in the end I would thank him later. Surgery was scheduled, staff was great.. post surgery I was pain free for about 4 days because he numbed me up pretty good. Fourth day post surgery I had some pain but the medication I was given was sufficient to keep me comfortable..3 weeks post surgery, I feel great and I am pain free!! Just like he said I would be.

I was really pleased with the outcome of my procedure. Dr. Dwyer was very professional and considerate before and after the whole operation. And all the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

He made me feel extremely comfortable in telling him about my problems. Great surgeon for always considering many non-surgical options rather than just surgeries.

I saw Dr. Dwyer during the pandemic. First of all, I had an afternoon appt. and I was in sever pain and called the office. I was told to "come in now". I waited less than 5 minutes for Dr. Dwyer and when I did see him, he could tell how much pain I was in. He didn't sit and waist time. he had an understanding that I needed help. His exam was quick yet thorough, and he suggested surgery. They got me in the next day. After flawless surgery I had relief of excruciating pain and it took less than two weeks to heal. Dr. Dwyer did a fantastic job and fixed me up really well. I hope to never see him again, but if I do I know he will take care of me. His staff is great as well! very friendly and understanding. He will be my top recommendation to anyone that needs a rectal doctor. Kudos!

Very knowledgeable, professional, personable and friendly. Easy to talk to. Speaks to you in terms that you can understand. Very patient man and you can tell that he cares. He performed abdominal surgery on me and while in hospital the nurses contacted him a few times regarding my condition. He responded right away with a phone call to them. It was very reassuring. I'm just so happy with him.

Dr. Dwyer performed a Robotic Sigmoidectomy on me and I cant't be more pleased with the results. Dr. Dwyer's attention to pain comfort after the procedure was very comforting as the post operation pain was at a minimal. After my discharge from MCA I received a call from Dr. Dwyers office assuming that it was a member of his staff checking on my condition but it actually was Dr. Dwyer himself making that call. I was very impressed that he took the time out of his day to make that call.

Dr. Dwyer was awesome! He made me feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly so I could better understand my issue! He had a good sense of humor which made the whole process more reassuring. And you can definitely tell he's passionate at what he does and is very professional. Dr, Dwyer is an outstanding Surgeon and person. He's very passionate about his patients and his work. I met him after an emergency room visit where my daughter had a partial obstruction he reassured my daughter and I that he was fully committed to making sure we understood the process every step of the way which he did. I prayed that God would send the medical professionals that would help my daughter I know he sent Dr Dwyer and for that I give thanks. I highly recommend Dr Dwyer and his staff.

Dr.Dryer had to cover for my Dr.while he was out of town and Dr.Dryer made me feel comfortable and made sure he provided the best care for me the week i was in the hospital i would recommend him for anyone looking for a colon rectial specialist.

Great Surgeon

After years of surgeries I had almost given up hope that my condition would get any better when I was referred to Dr. Dwyer by my PCP (Primary Care Physician). On my first visit, his assistants Nina and Sarah excelled in providing exceptional customer service. Dr. Dwyer has a compassion for his profession. I have never had a doctor who would take time away from their schedule to call and discuss in detail diagnosis/treatment plans. It is comforting to know that I am finally in very good hands.

My colon surgery went the best it could possibly go. Doctor Dwyer explained everything up front, he tried to ease my concerns with professionalism and a great sense of humor. Sarah took care of all my insurance paperwork without any trouble. I feel like I made two new friends and I would recommend Doctor Dwyer to everyone.

Dr. Dwyer is wonderful. He has an excellent bedside manner and is hilarious. Dr. Dwyer listened to my concerns and was extremely sensitive to the fact that I had a previous cancer experience at 33. Luckily for me, Colon cancer won’t make that list anytime soon because he took immediate action by performing a colonoscopy and removing a pre-cancerous polyp (at age 36!). I have been fortunate to have incredible doctors who listen to me and he is now part of that special group of very few.

Dr. Dwyer immediately put me at ease, never once made me feel rushed, and was very thorough and attentive. It's rare to find doctors like that these days, and I'm very thankful I did!

I was referred to Dr. Dwyer by my doctor to check on the treatment of what I believed to be hemoroids. I was very apprehensive about the visit. Dr. Dwyer was quick to put me at ease. I was so nervous when I arrived at the office. After 2 minutes of talking with Dr. Dwyer I knew I was in good hands. He was easy to talk to very Informative and funny.

I would highly recommend Dr. Dwyer to anyone. I have severe anxiety when it comes to going to a new doctor but he was so pleasant and professional the anxiety quickly disappeared. He performed my first ever colonoscopy along with a minor surgical procedure. Both were performed quickly and I experienced much less pain than anticipated. Office visits are fast yet thorough, he will spend as much time as necessary to answer questions/concerns. His office staff is very friendly and professional!

Dr. Dwyer performed a Hemorrhoidectomy on me. The surgery went well, everyone was very considerate, and at all times my privacy was one of their main concerns.
