Repaired my meniscus. Did a great job and went above and beyond. Feel better than ever.
Not very good. Had to have 2nd surgery 8 weeks later to correct his mistakes.
Wow! Dr. Dougherty has done an unbelievable job on my shoulder!! I’d kiss him, but he’s not my type… but seriously I had a full thickness tear in my rotor cuff and my ac joint was blown out.. After 3 years of trying to tuff it out I had surgery. It’s been 5 weeks and I’m pretty much healed up and pain free!! Thanks Dr. Dougherty Wow! Dr. Dougherty was responsible for repairing a painful tear my boyfriends shoulder. My boyfriend felt a very strange and strong pain that woke him up from his sleep very shortly after the surgery, within a few nights. He called Dr. Dougherty and the doctor completely dismissed his concern basically telling him it’s supposed to be that painful and it didn’t retare as my fiancé suspected. All of his concerns were completely dismissed throughout the whole recovery processes. We are now seeing a doctor (2 years after surgery) who actually cares and is a specialist in his field. He has suggested that it was never fully repaired OR I retore shortly after surgery as suspected. We have spent so much time and money on this due to his poor care. Couldn’t be more unhappy and upset at a doctor who we once trusted. Stay away- it’s what’s best for you and your family. Worst experience I've had with a business in general. So bad in fact, I cancelled my surgery and chose to go elsewhere not because of cost or due to the mear fact of getting a second opinion, but off of the personal experience I encountered over a week with this office. They will lie and steal from you! Strongly advise you seek a professional elsewhere. Would have given 0 stars if it were an option. Worst experience I've had with a business in general. My fiance tore his hamstring in four places. Two were complete tears off the bone and the other two were tears on the muscle itself. He needed to have major surgery within 3 weeks or it would not be able to heal correctly. Dr. Dougherty got him in immediately. He did the surgery, repairing the two muscle tears and reattaching the muscle to the bone. It has now been 3 and a half months since the surgery. My fiance is doing great! He still needs to strengthen the muscle but he has no problem walking and moving around. After seeing how well everything went for my fiance, I decided to go to Dr. Dougherty for a back issue I was having. Before I had my back x-rayed, Dr. Dougherty predicted that it was a herniated disc. He was right. I would highly recommend Dr. Dougherty to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and is easy to work with. He genuinely shows concern towards his patients. Also, his staff is very helpful and readily available to answer any questions you may have through their online portal. Dr. Dougherty did hip surgery on me in Oct. For the first time in over 2 years I am pain free!
Dr. Dougherty is a crook who gave me surgery on my elbow that never had any chance of fixing the pain in my elbow. He gave me the surgery only because it made him a lot of money.
Dr. Dougherty only cares about maxamizing his profits even if it means giving his patients unnecessary surgery.
I loved my experience with Dr. Dougherty. He was my second doctor (the first was disinterested and didn't even examine my broken foot) and I found his office, the scheduling system, and especially his demeanor to be excellent. Dr. Dougherty took the time to examine me properly, explain my break and the treatment, and he was encouraging and friendly. My husband and I looked forward to the visits and left each one grateful and satisfied.
The doctor is not good, to say the least. One of those narcissistic, infallible doctors that treats their patient like they're an idiot for questioning what they determine. He only thinks something is amiss if it is very obvious or at a late stage. No critical thinking skills to extrapolate into the future. Not to mention their extortionist practices. They charge a minimum upfront fee of $400 with no clarity on what the final cost will be. They evidently charge on a per nerve basis and they don't give any pricing data. So it is up in the air what the final bill will be. I feel sorry for anyone who goes to him that is not financially secure, which is a lot of people these days. His equipment is incredibly old, so I can only imagine they have regained their capital expenditure. The same data could be gathered with a low end oscilloscope, a function generator, and an excel spread sheet. After reading other reviews for this "doctor", I'm not surprised. I only wish I had before I went

Dr. Doughtery explained what he was going to do before I had surgery. That was very reassuring for someone like me. Dr. Doughtery put me at ease before and after the surgery. I promise from this day going forward, my family and I will not be seen by anyone other than Dr. Doughtery for orthopedic needs.
He do very good on me
As of today I am 6 weeks out of knee surgery and dont have full use of my leg as of yet but it is coming along slowly . The biggest complaint is I wish he would slow down and speak in a language the average person can understand. I get an answer and my head is swimming because I do t have the time to process the information and then he is gone. Please make sure you take something to write down what he said or you will be confused 5 mins after leaving his office. So far so good. Awesome surgeon!!! Great bedside manner.
I have had 2 shoulder surgeries for injuries. He does great work! I reccomend him highly!
Great surgeon. My dad had a rotator cuff repair in 2016 and he was back to playing scratch golf in one year with no complaints. Five stars!
My grandson broke a bone in his shoulder playing sports. Dr. Dougherty was great with him He made my grandson feel at ease, and he set up a plan to help him heal properly. I would recommend him to anyone!
Chris has done 3 surgeries (2 knees-meniscus on each and 1 shoulder-rotator cuff and break) plus several related visits. I’ve never had a complaint about his care. He’s professional, easygoing and easy to get an appointment with. I’ve no complaints.
not very upfront with costs to the uninsured.
Pos office and the main secretary up front is rude and hateful....do not go here
Going to this clinic for a year, and couldn't get the right treatment, I experience lack of care, carelessness to my pain, very unprofessional, guy just not a good doctor for working families, you have to be a famous sports man to be looked at properly and be taken seriously. Jill was super helpful and Dr. Christopher P. Dougherty knew his stuff.. I got in and seen Dr same day I came and they worked with my workman's comp from another state were I was working. thank you I appreciate your hard work
I have been a regular patient of Dr. Dougherty's since summer of 2015. Dr. D has performed 4 surgeries so far for me as well as an array of other things and has also helped my daughter with an ortho issue. He is there for us anytime we need and his office tries to get us in as quickly as possible when we do. Dr. D works to try to figure out what is going on and explains things well. He's the only ortho I would trust and recommend. If he needs to refer you to someone else, he will only send you to the best. I have been a regular patient of Dr. Dougherty's since summer of 2015. Great doctor and assistance
Dr. Dougherty and his staff are very professional and caring. Dr. Dougherty operated on my rotator cuff and I would not hesitate if needed again to have him operate on me or to send any of my family members to him. Great, top notch care.
Dr. Dougherty fixed a torn meniscus after a ski accident. I have had no issues with this knee since the surgery 3 years ago. He also operated on my husband's shoulder and the surgery was a complete success.
Has done several surgeries for my family to include: My wife's carpal tunnel and my son's (17 at time - sports injury) shoulder rotator cuff repair. From day one, my son had 100% mobility and healed as good as new (lifts heavy weights during work outs) never even took a pain pill. My wife recovered wonderfully as well - would go to no one else as long as he is around! When you want or need the best outcome - go to the best!!

Dr. Dougherty is the Dr. my families trusts! My husband has had rotatater cuff surgery for an old sports injury as well as a surgery for a torn bicep. Dr. Dougherty performed both surgeries. We did extensive research prior to meeting Dr. Dougherty. While we were initially anxious about surgery, once we met with Dr. Dougherty... we were immediately put at ease. We felt comfort by his knowledge, experience, and passion for repairing each injury! He is the best! Additionally, my brother had a motorcycle accident about 11 years ago and completely "tore up" his knee. His first surgery was with "another" Dr. In the area. It was not long after that initial surgery that he was in so much pain that he needed another one for more repair. He searched for a different Dr. And discovered that Dr. Dougherty who is the Dr. for the KC Royals was located in the NW Arkansas area. He immediately set up an appointment and was very pleased with the results. He trusts Dr. Dougherty implicitly! Dr. Dougherty has been proactive And provided cutting edge treatment!! Dr. Doughrty is an excellent surgeon. He not only did surgery on my daughters feet for cutting and lengthening her Achilles' tendons in both feet as well as a cut and release of the tendons under her toes on both feet. He also did a surgery on her hip due to degenerative issues in hopes it would prolong having to do a hip replacement at such a young age. He is dedicated to his patients, has an awesome bedside manner and he treats you like a person not a $ sign. He repaired my Achilles' tendon when I tore it almost completely in half. A year later he had to go back in and replace whatever it was he had done before be ny body tends to calcified things which makes life very painful. He also repaired my left knee after I fell down a flight of stairs and pretty much broke my knee cap in half. I have torn my meniscus a couple of times in the same knee and each time he has fixed it. I shattered the same knee in a car accident when it was lodged in the dashboard. Most surgeons would not have been able to do any of that considering everytime it's been the same knee. He takes his time and is meticulous and makes sure he does above and beyond when it comes to his patients. He is the only Dr. I will ever trust with my children or myself, in fact I am seeing him this morning because I think I tore what was left of my meniscus. Dr. Doughrty is an excellent surgeon. Awesome experience, always explained what he needed to do and why, showed me the issues on the MRI so I could clearly see what was going on. He carried out 3 surgeries on my knees, for the first time in 2 years I am walking and exercising pain free.

Dr. Dougherty is a horrible physician, who only cares about the quantity of surgeries he performs, not the actual care after surgery. My son has CRPS due to his knee surgery, and as parents we were never informed by Dr. Dougherty what CRPS was, although he told my son verbally that he had it, and put Sympathetic Changes on his clinical documentation. He never said that this was a life altering and crippling disease that can ruin your life and body. We haven't heard from Dr. Dougherty since his 3rd post op appointment. After 1 1/2 years, my son is just now able to walk and return to school, because of Dr. Elliott Krane at Stanford Children's Hospital in California. My 16 year old son had to go to Stanford Children's Hospital for 3 months for a very painful, but very successful program, and has just returned 5 days ago. He still has a very intense physical therapy program everyday, and is still in pain on a daily basis. CRPS goes from limb to limb and eventually your vital organs. Don't ever go see this man, because he doesn't care. Dr. Dougherty is a horrible physician, who only cares about the quantity of surgeries he performs, not the actual care after surgery.
