I have been receiving care from Doctor Choi for more than 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and focuses on a balance of wellness education as well as treatment for medical conditions. Dr. Choi and his staff are fantastic. We recently joined his practice and have been blown away by the compassion and care he provides to his patients. I have melasma on both my cheeks and sun spots that have been bugging me for years. I finally decided to see a dermatologist ( Las Vegas skin and cancer clinic), I met Eberhard Maendel, PA twice and he prescribed a special facial cream. After using it a few months, I realized there was no change in appearance. Chemical peel or Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy were other options. After I did my own research, I found out that the pico laser is newest method to treat hyper-pigmentation. I went to see Dr. Choi for Pico Laser consultation. He was very attentive about my skin needs and spent almost one hour listening all my concerns. After my second pico laser treatment, along with collagenizer, Hydroquinone 4% cream twice a day, and tretinoin cream 0.025% daily at night, and wearing sun screen religiously, I finally can see the result that I wanted. I've been seeing Dr. Choi since 2017 and he is by far the most patient, well-informed, and effective physicians I have ever seen. His appointment times are not rushed, when he comes into the room he "knows" who you are, and he suggests treatments that are part of your overall health plan. You can get same day appointments (due to my busy schedule) - this is most often the route I take because I do not always know ahead of time what my schedule will be OR you can have next day appointments. He also offers his services through text and email because you have a true relationship with him, not just another number and insurance id to bill. Dr. Choi's services come at an expense and that expense is well worth the fee. His practice is limited to only select patients so it's not a revolving door of people. Staff is friendly and does what they can to ensure you get the best possible treatment necessary. I compare them to my Neiman Marcus and Saks personal assistants - they are there FOR you to take care of you - and they do it spectacularly well! I wanted to comment to the negative reviews about insurance and fees. Dr. Choi is expensive. It's a personal concierge physician that you have access to 24/7 365. They do not take any type of insurance at all - your "co-pays" are office visit fees and they are very much similarly priced to what an insurance company would change. These are paid after your annual fee is paid. Which is part of the concierge package he offers - and it's amazing! If you decide that a concierge doctor is right for you, a doctor and staff that care for a select group of patients, then Dr. Choi may be right for you! Dr. Choi is hands-down one of the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and well versed Internal Medicine Physicians I have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with. The 5-atar (if I could give him 100 stars I would!) rating doesn't come close to the services he offers or the expertise he brings to his patients. Recently, I went through one of the most traumatic events of my life. Dr. Choi was with me EVERY-STEP-OF-THE-WAY; making sure that I was first taken care of as a person (emotional needs, making sure I had a great family support system, made sure to help me though a very tough time I didn't fully undertand, and cared for me as a person) with real needs and then as a patient to solve the issues I had and then took the time to explain to what was going on, why I felt the way I did , and then gave me a treatment plan that worked WITH my life, not my life working around a treatment plan and giving up everything I loved so dearly. In other words Dr. Choi treats you holistically; he gives you treatment options and then proceeds with a treatment plan he thinks is the best for you. His office staff are amongst the best in the Las Vegas Valley. Of course, his main focus is treating medical disorders, as a physician should, but he takes the time to explain everything in clear terms without the medical jargon that most of us probably won't understand. I went through about 2.5 weeks of a complete nightmare: edical disagnisises I didn't understand that were life-threatening. Dr. Choi explained the issues, risks, outcomes, treatment options, suggested maybe some clinical trials, and work tirelessly on my case. When things were going as planned, Dr. Choi didn't just say "Well, that's how things are!" He found alternatives to help my body recovery, to help my mind recover, to help me start the recovery processes as soon as we knew what was going on . Dr. Choi and his staff NEVER once gave up on me. The background to this story is that I was taken to North Vista Hospital and told I was slowly dying a very painful death - they decided that they didn't have the resources to help me there and that therewas nothing they could do for me and I was immediately transferred to Valley Hospital because that was my best bet for making it through because the had a free IMC room open. After I was given a private room at Valley Hospital, I had a team of a surgery, a hospitalist, about 5 nurses and a couple of CNA's watching me around the clock. The first morning I woke up after being heavily sedated, I recall screaming out for my doctor, Dr. Choi. My nurse immediately called Dr. Choi, spoke with him in my room, and then handed me the phone so I could speak with him. I spoke with Dr.Choi, told him EXACTLY what I had been told. I handed the phone back to the nurses who I then overheard say "As of right now, we just have him on "pain control" because we have so few options left for him." Aftert his phone call, I'm not sure what was said or what happened, but the next thing I know I have surgeons in my room, therapists, rabbis" nephrologists, x-ray techs, CAT scan operators, nutritionists, pain management specialists, Nurse Practitioners, and a slew of other medical professionals. I'm not sure what happened or why after Dr. Choi was contacted, but I can tell you this - whatever Dr. Choi did, I'm alive. I'm alive because of Dr. Choi and nothing on this world will will make me thank otherwise Dr. Choi figuratively and literally saved my life. For this, I'm eternally grateful to have such a wonderful doctor and a highly skilled set of people that pulled me though. I can't say enough wonderful things about Dm Choi and his staff - I'm alive and on the mend due to his compassion and caring. Without question, Dr. Choi is the best physician that I have ever had. A kind and compassionate man, he takes the time to get to know his patients, and this enables him to give them an expert care clearly based on his knowledge of how the body is supposed to work and of which medications work the most effectively for his patients. I was looking for a doctor and the receptionist just said we don’t take your insurance but I didn’t get to tell her what all insurance I have, she said something really fast about requiring additional money I told her I didn’t catch that, she said “what was that” and laughed and hung up the phone.

Very upset with this office I went in because I had been referred by a close friend who used to be a patient before he relocated ! I walk in and the girl at the front was on her cellphone did not even acknowledge me until she was done texting ! I don't even get a "Hello" she walks away and comes back a few minutes later and with a rude tone ask me if I needed something ! I still was patient enough and ask about becoming a patient there she then said we are not taking new patients at the moment come back in a few months! Plus we do not take any insurance so unless you have $2000 to pay then we can put you on a waiting list. My friend had told me the provider would offer meet and greets to make sure he is what you are looking for so I figured maybe I can come in for a meet and greet and if I like him would get on the waiting list she refused and said "oh no that is not how it works here you don't get to meet the doctor unless you have paid a membership" I could not believe how MONEY HUNGRY this office sounds! I miss the days when humans health was more important than money!!! I do not recommend this office no anyone! I have been seeing Dr. Choi for three years now. He is attentive, personable and responsive. His office staff is friendly and accommodating. He has helped me successfully with two conditions that I have been trying to fix for years. He pays attention to what you have to say and doesn’t over prescribe medication. Bruce Jernigan, My husband has seen Dr. Choi. since 2012. Dr. Choi and His staffs are always take care of Bruce on a timely manner. DR. Choi takes times to listen to Bruce's any medical issues every visit and more importantly he treats Bruce like his own family. First, let me start by saying that Dr. Choi and his staff took care of my Mother for more than 10 years till her passing at the age of 93. Not once, during that time, was Dr. Choi, not right on with his prognosis and diagnosis. His bedside manner and empathy for my Mother was beyond reproach. As most elderly people, my Mom was not always the easiest of patients! My wife and I are patients of Dr. Choi as well. His care and approach to our well being in addition to his knowledge and quest for continuing to search for the newest and best practice is above excellent. His staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help as well. Anyone who would criticize this Doctor and his staff as never been a patient and/or does not have the ability to understand the practice of medicine. I truly believe Dr. Choi is a 5 star caregiver. In the past, I often decided NOT to see my primary care physician consistently and therefore, I did not have someone overseeing and guiding my health. Since I began to see to Dr. Choi a number of years ago, this has completely changed. I actually enjoy my visits to Dr Choi's office and I think it is for a variety of reasons. 1) Dr Choi is very knowledgeable and he keeps up with the latest research 2) He is a very good listener and makes suggestions not just based on his insights but includes his detailed understanding of both my medical history and my mental approach to health, life, etc. So, I am truly getting concierge medicine at it's best - a plan catered to my own, unique situation. 3) He spends as much time with me as needed, scheduling as many visits as is necessary. 4) When a referral to a specialist is needed, he has always steered me to someone skilled and what turns out to be the right doctor for me. Of course I expect some of this from signing up with a Concierge practice but being with Dr. Choi has surpassed my expectations and helped me to overcome a number of chronic conditions and better my life. Dr. Choi and his staff are absolutely incredible. My dad, boyfriend and I are patients of his and not only does his staff know you by name, they are so kind and accommodating. There is a reason that there is a waiting list to be a patient and i am SO glad i have a doctor who spends time addressing your concerns and answering any questions you have. Dr Choi has been a blessing to my family and I. Appointments are all most always same day if needed and believe it or not he gives you whatever time is need to thoroughly explain and understand your issues. When my father was in the hospital he would stop by everyday even though he did not have privileges at that hospital, WOW ! When there are emergency’s he has always returned calls even in the middle of the night. Dr Choi has been our concierge doctor for the past nine years. He is always there when we need him. Recently had kidney stone issues, he met us at the hospital, got in touch with the surgeon, set everything up and it was taken care within hours.
