Absolutely trust my health care needs with Dr Chay and Stephanie Garcia. Amazing is what I can say about the staff also.

Dr Chay and the entire team at Messino Cancer Center have treated me and my wife with real, true concern as we step into the whirlwind of stage four cancer. Dr Chay, specifically, has given us the time each visit to ask important, tough questions; has helped us understand complex answers; and has always made sure we are comfortable with each new piece of information. He has also curated my care with an eye for what is best for me physically and emotionally - something which correlates directly with my ability to withstand and even "lean into" each treatment. As well, every person involved in my care (on his team at Messino Cancer Center), from the front door to the infusion team - and every person in between (check-in, scheduling, labs, research, financial... everyone) - knows our name, cares about us as people, and ensures that we always have the best in both knowledge and treatment. I am constantly thankful that we moved to Asheville just before my diagnosis. Thank you, Dr. Chay and Messino family, for giving us everything we need in this battle. Let's go!

Wonderful. Will spend all the time you need to answer all your questions.

Dr. Chay is remarkable. I have never felt that he is rushing, which is almost unheard of; he offers me choices in my treatment; and he gives credence to every one of my concerns, no matter how small. I am grateful to be his patient.

I was able to get into see Dr. Chay within a week. I had Stage 2 Ovarian and Perintonael Cancers. Dr Chay hit the ground running with my treatments. Explained everything and my options to me, clearly and very concise. My surgeon at Wake Forest Baptist told me thanks to Dr. Chay's knowledge and response, I am alive. Peritoneal Cancer is a fast moving cancer with a low success rate. I recommend Dr. Chay to everyone I know who has cancer.

I’ve about had it with this guy. What an egotist. VERY dismissive. ZERO respect for patient's knowledge base. Criticizes if patient/patient care taker has questions between visits. Heaven forbid if patient/family ask for clarification. Wants to pigeonhole patient’s opportunity to ask questions to to once every 2 wks within a 30 min window of time appt w/provider. Messino patient portal is extremely ineffective. I feel like we pay Chay enough that he needs to LISTEN and be empathetic vs dismissive. I will say the staff at Messino Cancer Center in Franklin are absolutely incredible!

Nearly killed me twice. Negligence caused stroke and heart attack which he kept silent about.

Dr, Chay was cold as ice, very impersonal and rude. He was 45 minutes late to my appointment which was the first one of the morning. He interrupted my appointment 4 times by taking personal phone calls. It was clear he had very limited concern for me as a patient. He kept talking about a condition I do not have. Clearly, he was distracted. I would NEVER go back to this doctor.
