I have been seeing Dr. Aland for about 2 years and he is always professional and concerned about my health. I also appreciate his friendly demeanor. I'm happy to have found Dr. Aland for my knee issues.

Dr. Aland is a nice doctor. Knows his stuff. He answered my questions, and explained my xrays. Felt a bit better when I left. I only wish they had Specialist that helped with Osteoporosis, such as the type of exercise to do, what medications are best, what diet is best? Since Osteo deals with bones, its good to get Dexascans and have a doctor review your bones afterwards, and guide people on the best strategy. Is it hormonal, aging?

Knowledgeable doctor however has little respect for the patient. During follow up visit computer froze while doctor was typing the notes. Doctor asked nurse to handle the data entry. She tried her best however she tried to get all the information from me because the doctor was too busy having a nice chat with someone just outside the door discussing his favorite food. Poor nurse had to go back and forth almost begging for information to be able to enter it into the system for 15-20 minutes. Doctor never stepped back in. Maybe he was tired. Maybe he didn't think it was important to record the information but it felt like my time and need as a patient was not important. Knowledgeable doctor however has little respect for the patient. If there was an option to choose more than five stars then I would absolutely give more! Wonderful office and Doctor Aland is by far a fabulous orthopedic doctor. Dr. Aland did not listen and did not examine the body part that was hurting. He insisted the problem required a spinal MRI and refused to do imaging of the area that hurt. He would not take "my word for it" regarding my medical history. Thankfully, I got a second opinion elsewhere and in 5 minutes the other doctor examined the area that hurt and found muscle tears and evidence of the sprain I knew I had.

2 visits. Very frustrated after 1st visit. He did not communicate well. Briefly answered questions but volunteered little. Better on 2nd visit, but still did not communicate well until I asked enough questions to get him talking.

Dr. Aland took his time with me to review my x rays, my chart and my history. He performed a thorough exam and discussed with me the various options I had available. My previous orthopedic surgeon left the area and it took me a little while to find someone I could be just as comfortable with. I'm so glad I made the switch!!

Check in was efficient and pleasant. Was taken back to see Dr. Aland within a few minutes, waited to see him within a few minutes. He cordially greeted me and went about an examination. He proceeded to give me an injection of synvisc and gave me further explanation. Since I tolerated the injection well, I left.
