I liked Doctor Langell, however her billing department is a real problem. I just (June 11, 2022) received a bill for an exam in May, 2020. Seriously!?! In May of 2021 I was assured that even though they had dropped VSP my medical insurance would cover my annual exam. I told them I didn't want any surprises. Surprise! I received a bill for $200+. I paid it (in protest) and had my records sent to another doctor. The doctor is good, their billing system is horrendous. Find another doctor/office for your optometry needs. Christine Langell wrote me a prescription that did not work for my occupational needs. When I called and told the office they said they no longer accept my insurance and I will have to find another doctor. I had to start all over. They also kept sending me bills for $500 after my insurance paid. I find it very unprofessional how they handled my situation. Much like the other reviewer, my appt with the Dr was fine, it was the billing scenario that I am still fighting. Billed for over $1000 for a routine eye exam, and was told my insurance was accepted. Buyer beware with this office and make sure you call your insurance company ahead of time.
