Did not make it to an Appointment. The office manager was so rude that he hung up on me and denied services. As I understand it, the office manager is her son. How she lets this guy run the office with such disrespectful is beyond me.

The response was very slow (about a week), when I requested a simple prescription renewal for my blood sugar lowering medications. Imagine, a diabetic person whose blood glucose is out of range is not able to control it by other means calling the office 3 times for such a simple thing.

Dr. Horah has been my primary care physician for more than 20 years. My experience with her on balance has been very good. Her office manager however is the pits. The telephone service is meaningless. It has a recorded message "If it is an emergency, call 911. Otherwise try again later." Later never comes, because the phone is never answered. Officer hours are clearly posted, but changed arbitrarily with no notice, not even a sign in the window. Certainly never by changing the message on the answering machine.

Her husband, the office secretary is a rude and unpleasant man. I had to wait over an hour for an appt. at which time I left and found a real Dr.. "Dr." Horah is a DO- a program taught in no real medical school because it is based on chiropractice- a pseudoscience-based belief system. Ask her what a subluxation reflex is and what bonafide medical book it is described in- (there are none).

I never would have imagined someone could be so rude for no reason, but her receptionist (Luke) proved me wrong. He may have been the worst person I have ever dealt with in my life. In the medical field you would think people would have some compassion not knowing what types of medical issues someone is going through. He mocked me and hung up on me twice because he lost my test results, and I guess didn’t want to deal with me after that. He wouldn’t let me talk to the doctor or help me at all.

Dr. Hora is a great doctor but her unprofessional office staff makes visits unbearable. Especially, the jerk in the front desk (a bolding young man that seems to believe he owns the world) who argues about everything and needs anger management help desperately. It has been several times that the office staff makes us feel very uncomfortable and for this reason after five years, my family and I have decided not to go back to her practice.

Dr. Horah herself is wonderful, but her son Luke who apparently runs the office is a cruel, uncaring, rude self centered jerk. I didn't have any copay due once which for unknown reasons bothered him greatly. He threatened to withhold the script for my medicine & not allow me to see the doctor if I didn't pay him anyway. Once the doctor had to cancel my appointment at the last minute but I needed my med refills or I could end up in the hospital. When I got upset & cried he hung up on me.

I have been a patient of Dr Horah for years. I love how she listens to her patients and how she treats you like an individual and not just another body passing through the office. She is an excellent doctor. I have never had a problem getting in to see her and never a long wait once I'm at her office. I have never had a problem with her staff. If you have an urgent problem they will find a way to get you in to see the doctor.

My family has been patients of Dr Horah for many years. She is thorough. My hubby and sons really like her. I like her family members working there it feels like the old time Dr office not a factory line.if i need to be seen i get seen.

We have always had a great experience at Dr Horah's practice. I find her very knowledgeable and approachable. I also like that she takes walk-ins (but scheduled appointments still have priority). Never had problems with office staff as others have said.

Would not recommend because of office staff. They are very rude & unprofessional but are family members so you dare not complain or you will be discharged from her practice. They are also dishonest by not providing patients with information regarding hidden fees for services performed during comprehensive visits. If you have private insurance you will incur additional fees on top of your co-pay as a result of these nondisclosed procedures which are nothing more than simple demonstrations.
