Reviews for Christine Lanee Gilliam
Caring, efficient doctor. Responsive and king staff. Very happy with treatment and follow ups
Efficient, careing, professional.
My two daughters and I have seen Dr. Gilliam on multiple occasions. She is great at letting us know the issue, she’s straightforward and quick, which we love. I would definitely recommend this office again and again.
Dr. Gilliam has received my chronic sinusitis and headaches without surgery and I am so thankful! She is very knowledgeable and helpful and cares about her patients. I highly recommend her for anyone suffering with sinus pain.
Was more concerned about making money with surgery (which could be a viable option) than actually taking care of my 3 year old daughter who had a double ear infection. She had horrible bedside manner and when asked about medication for my daughter’s relief now she refused to prescribe it. They couldn’t do surgery right away so is my daughter supposed to be in pain until then?? Nice location, friendly staff, Dr. Gilliam is very knowledgeable. She knew exactly what my issue was and really helped me. Definitely will go back again. Highly recommend her.
Office is nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful in every way possible. I’ve taken my son to Dr. Guilliam and loved her so much decided to take my daughters. She’s VERY good with kids/teens. She’s friendly funny and very informative. Her office is a bit far but I definitely don’t mind the drive for the service Dr. Guilliam and her staff give.

How can you spend 5 mins in a room with a new patient? No explanation during the exam, no questions during the exam. I had to ask questions myself several times about my daughter ears to get some sort of rushed answers. Poor bedside manners. I left the facility confused and shocked. Definitely going to get a second opinion with someone who will care and throughly explain themselves. What a waste of my time and my daughter time. Several appointment times were available on the day I called and the wait time to see the doctor was short!
Her cookie cutter care, lack of concern, and money grabbing to see max pts is horrible! Instruction were scribbled on back of flyer. As many pts in an hour is beyond disgusting. When I called for help, message I got was go to the ER! Stay AWAY!
She is always in hurry. Only cares about seeing the “next patient”. Throws words without explaining.
Saw physician Gilliam. After two weeks I was not better. Office told me to go to Emergency room or family physician. Seeing an ENT specialist and she hands me off to a general doctor. Am sure her expertise is good, but this situation is unacceptable! She does not spend quality time with patient and scribbled instructions on a piece of paper! You can do so much better! The office is assembly line!
Not crazy about the receptionist. Very rude and unprofessional. I called another ENT and they were super friendly. Too bad reception staff is to blame for us choosing a different Dr.
Great Dr. Friendly Staff.
I can't believe all these negative reviews. Dr. Gilliam was the only ENT that could get me in for a same day appointment for an ear infection. The rest of the ENTs had waits that were weeks long. She quickly relieved the intolerable pressure from the ear infection and gave me an antibiotic to take care of the infection. I found her bedside manners to be top notch making me feel at ease during the visit. I can't believe all these negative reviews. My appointment was on time and professional. Dr.Gilliam was very cordial and through in my exam. I felt at ease with her and she encouraged me to ask questions about my care.
Staff, providers and Dr. Gilliam are professional yet warm and interested in patient concerns and questions.
Very professional. I will refer family and friends here.
My daughter goes to Dr. Gilliam and highly recommended her. I was seen right away and Dr. Gilliam and the staff were very kind and considerate. Dr. Gilliam listened patiently and took lots of notes. She put me at ease (I tend to get anxious about Dr. visits) and is very good at her profession. You can tell she cares about her patients. It was one of the best doctor visits I have ever had.
Unfortunately I did not have a great experience. I will not be back.
I rave about Dr. Gilliam and her staff to all my friends. She is excellent in every aspect and her staff is friendly and obviously care about the patients. Everyones ENT gets 5 plus stars from me!
Dr Gilliam treated me very well. I have residency in two different states and I came to TX with an ongoing ear problem which started in Maryland. Dr. Gilliam provided me with a course of action which alleviated my ear problem. Additionally, I needed an appointment on short notice and I saw the the Physicians Assistant (PA) that works for Dr. Gilliam, sorry I can't remember her name. She was the best PA I have ever been to, she drained fluid from a badly infected ear, she spent plenty of time telling me what I could expect from the process. I can't say enough good about the service I was shown from this PA.
They were running on time, everyone was kind and helpful and they explained everything.
Professional and patient-centric.
She made me feel very comfortable. She takes the time to explain everything and didn’t make me feel rushed. The office staff have been very helpful and friendly.
Dr Gilliam is a kind, caring professional that earned my respect. Explains everything and has my total trust!
Had a very positive experience. I missed my appt by 30 min and thought I would be a few minutes early as I had written down the wrong appt time. I was called by a very pleasant person while I was enroute and she was very understanding and did not make me feel the fool! Check in was warm and welcoming. Doctor was upbeat, friendly, efficient and took care of my blocked ears with an admonishment to leave my ears alone and not touch them ever again.........with anything!
Professional office. Very respectful people. Very throw examination.
My work schedule fluctuated and I had to miss an appointment. They charged me for that. Life happened and they didn't care. They rather collect the "No show fee" than keeping a customer. Obviously that's how they see people. Of course with doctors like that, who will be a patient patient. I work hard for my money, so I decided to be seen by my primary care physician instead. Dr. Saloum. He sees me when needed. He takes me early, he works late. He takes me during my lunch brake. He takes the time to evaluate me. I have been seen him for 6 yrs. now and going. So, why would anyone want to go see Dr. Christine L. Gilliam? My work schedule fluctuated and I had to miss an appointment. They charged me for that. Life happened and they didn't care. I had a great experience here! The staff got me in quick, they were professional and friendly! Dr Christine Gillam read my CT scan, diagnosed my problem. Came up with a treatment plan that I am not only happy with bit confident it will get me back to being healthy and happy!!! Thank you Dr Gillam!!
Dr Gilliam is professional and thurough. I went to her for a second opinion after another ENT was only concerned about getting me to pay my full anual deductible to him before any additional care would be provided, and giving me prescriptions for pain that were unnecessary. Dr Gilliam first treated and cleared my sinus infection. Once I was in good health, she scheduled me for scans to see what was happening in my sinus cavities. I had several physical blockages, dont recal the details. but she eventually performed the surgery and followup care. I would reccomend her to anyone having Sinus/ENT Issues. I think she was personal, professional, and provided the proper amount of care for my condition. Since my surgery I have made it through 5 cedar seasons without having the debilitating sinus infections I used to get. Note I see several persons have provided low stars, read the reviews - In my opinion they are not good reviews to base selecting a physician. Some reviews are negative about the doctor, but the person never saw the doctor or were unhappy about something in the office. I appreciate being thouroughly tested and attempting the least cost, lesast invasive procedures first. Dr Gilliam earns 5 stars for her work as a physician and care for patients. I would reccomend Dr Gilliam to anyone, I have recommended her to persons in my family. Dr Gilliam is professional and thurough. Dr. Gilliam first treated my son when he was 5 to remove adenoids and put in tubes. Last summer he broke his nose and had to have surgery to repair the break. During this procedure she also repaired his deviated septum. After his experience and my own ongoing problems with my sinuses, I visited her myself this year. We checked out a lot of things and found I also had a deviated septum, and some other sinus issues. She gave me several options and we decided on surgery. At the last minute my insurance was giving us trouble and she and her staff worked diligently to move things along and keep my original surgery date. It has now been six weeks since my surgery and I am so happy I did it. Dr. Gilliam is very easy to work with, an awesome surgeon, and she cares about her patients. On top of that, I can now breathe out of both sides of my nose :D Dr. Gilliam first treated my son when he was 5 to remove adenoids and put in tubes. If you want to patronizingly be called 'honey' and be yelled at because you are having trouble with the treatment they give you, this is the doc for you! (If you didn't catch my sarcasm... I definitely do NOT recommend Dr Gilliam.)

When I called to make an appointment they took all my insurance info. I showed up for my appointment & they told me they did not take my insurance. I was so angry....why didn't they tell me that when I called to schedule? My whole morning was wasted at this point.
Staff and Dr. Gilliam seemed caring and took great care of me!

Horrible doctor, she doesnt listen to the paitents, unnecessary testing, unprofessional, came with a ear pain, left with a ear pain. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND.
Horrible! This doc was not referred to us but because she's female, we decided to try her. She's extremely unprofessional and don't even get me started on her P.A., Ms. RAMOS. She's even worse, if that's possible. We will never go back. Gave her several tries and each time was worse. I can't believe they'd keep her in the Baptist medical area. It's left a bad taste in my mouth for the entire system. I will continue to tell everyone I know, to use a different doc. Would never let her cut on me or my kids, ever!!!!! Horrible! I won't go back. Have had problems with dry cough for months. Dr. Gilliam opted to do all expensive testing first, like camera tube down the nose, MRI like procedure (it's called something different). Results of those were only confirming symptoms, but didn't give new insight. She insisted that I continue to use nose drops and reflux medication, which I did... for 3 weeks without any improvements, along with a 3 week antibiotic regimen, which tore up my stomach. I was advised by her that it can take up to 3 months to work and that I should proceed. I did read up on the internet, the reflux meds work with 2-3 days, I didn't read anything that would confirm that it can take up to 3 months for this to work. I then was recommended for an allergy test (which probably should have been tested first, and is least expensive to test). I have high blood pressure, but was set up for the skin test (which doesn't work with my blood pressure medication.) Only after I kept probing, I was excused and sent for a blood test. More time wasted. I was told to make another appointment to get the results. I said that I didn't think I needed to make another appointment if the test comes back negative, but they insisted that results will have to be discussed during an appointment, so further action steps can be discussed. To me, this feel like a doctor that uses little common sense and forges ahead with anything that makes her money. Won't go back! I won't go back. Have had problems with dry cough for months. Didn't help, ran all expensive tests first and does anything to get one to come back to charge more.
She is all about running unnecessary test I had same treatment done several years ago by different doctor in less time and money.

Dr Gilliam and her staff were warm, friendly and very professional. I felt welcome. The attention given to my needs was reassuring. Often when you visit an ENT you are in pain and I felt that Dr. Gilliam as well as her office staff treated me with compassion and kindness. Dr. Gilliam quickly addressed my problem and is interested in my follow up care. We had a wonderful ENT when our children were young who is not in practice anymore.
