Unfortunately, Dr Edwards did not feel we were valuable enough for her to consult with us despite her billing us for her services. Her nurse was the only contact we ever had despite insisting to see and speak directly to her. Dr Edwards was neglectful, inattentive, disrespectful, dismissive and missing. Other friends had similar experience with her. We were quite upset and left her practice. There are much better options elsewhere! She lost her way in patient care!!

Had an appointment today at 10 a.m it’s now 10:51 and I’m still in the waiting room, not sure how long I will be waiting still. When I came in here there was no one here, now 3 couples have already went in before me. My husband has brought it up to their attention and the lady at the front desk keep saying we are next. Please do better with scheduling. Other then that the staff is nice and the place is clean. Everyone seems polite.

Great customer service

Everyone was incredibly nice and our ultrasound tech was amazing!

Dr. Edward's was so thorough and knowledgeable! She answered every question I had and gave such detailed explanations. Ultrasound tech and medical assistant were also super sweet! I would highly recommend!

Dr. Edwards was very thorough and easy to talk to. She made me feel at ease with any concerns I was having. Looking forward to my pregnancy journey with her.

The doctor, technician, and staff were all very friendly and professional. The office is nice, clean, good equipment, and in a great location. I loved seeing my ultrasound on a big tv screen! I had a great experience!

Nice clean office. They are prompt with bringing you back at your scheduled appointment time. The MFM took a lot of time to speak with me and go over my options. There was a miscommunication in regards to setting up a CVS done, but Dr Edwards cleared everything up. She guided me rapidly in the direction I needed to go for my next procedure and made sure I set up my appointment. Would highly recommend!

Great experience! This practice came highly recommended from my OB and from a few friends. The staff, the technician and Dr. Edwards made a stressful situation very easy for me. I’m happy to be a patient here and highly recommend this practice!

I have seen Dr. Edwards a few times. She is so sweet and informative. The front desk is very polite and helpful and the women that work with you while getting scans done know exactly what they're doing and take away any nervousness you may have. I would highly recommend this office.

If I could give this place a zero I totally would without any hesitation! My appointment today is at 4 30 pm. It is now 6 pm. I came up to the front desk to ask how much longer it's going to take and the person said that she doesn't even know and she cant tell me anything. They had another two people with the same appointment time which means that they are triple booking the appointments. At this time I'm still sitting here and waiting. And they say that all of their rooms are filled! But there's barely anyone here! The front desk person keeps on getting up and leaving her desk for an extended period of time. And she keeps saying that they are a high volume place. Take your business somewhere else for the sake of your time. I have seen the same people go to the bathroom at least three times since I've been here. This is a very unpleasant and unprofessional place! There aren't enough stars to give to this practice. Both Dr. Edwards and Dr. Laffineuse are just amazing and I am so glad that my OB recommended to them. The medical assistant Chase is also absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I walk in, to the moment I walk out, the professionalism is on point. But most importantly, I feel that my concerns are addressed and none of the physicians have left me without answering my questions and putting me at ease. I trust them 100% with mine and my baby's health and I can tell that this is not just a job or profession. Both doctors are passionate about what they do and it makes me feel at ease as a patient. If you are in search of an amazing high risk practice, look no further!. Thank you Dr. Laffineuse, Dr. Edwards, and all of your staff, you are simply the best!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Did not inform me of visitor policy change and then didn’t allow face time during ultrasound. Then when requesting my medical records to transfer, staff sent my baby’s gender that I was waiting for delivery to find out. Office manager stated that Dr Edwards was made aware of their systems failure to inform me of the visitor policy change and STILL WOULD HAVE DECLINED to allow me to face time during anatomy ultrasound. Not sensitive to high risk mothers, AT ALL!!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The day of my scheduled ultrasound anatomy scan. I went into the office and noticed many women had their spouses with them. From the beginning of my care with this office at the Boca location, no visitors were allowed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I completely understood this restriction in such uncertain times and always felt it was safest, despite it being difficult. So when I saw visitors, I waited until the waiting room cleared and I was alone to ask the front office staff if their visitor policy had changed. The front office supervisor, a heavy set Hispanic woman explained that the policy had changed the week prior and asked if I hadn’t received the text message. I hadn’t. After about a 40 minute wait, I was taken to begin the scan. I sat on the table and began to undress. I then called my partner on Face Time so he could be a part of the process. At this point Maria, US tech, informed me that I would not be allowed to face time during the exam. I explained that I wasn’t informed of the policy change. She remained firm that I would not be allowed to Face Time. At this point, I requested she get her office manager to come speak with me. She REFUSED THREE TIMES, and even explained “We’ve already had meetings about this and they are not going to allow you to. I will not get the manager.” At this point I became extremely frustrated and said fine reschedule my appointment then. When I got to the front desk I explained what had happened to the light skinned black woman. She is genuinely the sweetest person in that office. I asked her to speak with the office manager, and she said she was not in the office but that the supervisor was present. The supervisor was sitting to her right, and heard the interaction and waved her off telling her to call the manager. The supervisor told the other young lady to have me wait in the waiting room, which was OVER FILLED with expectant mothers AND their partners, so they put me in an inner waiting room. I waited for about 15 more minutes before the sweet young lady came in and apologized and explained that my ultrasound would not be done that day. She explained that I was removed from the room AND THEY WERE VERY BUSY, I had lost my place in line!! I responded, “So did your office manager decline my request to use Face Time?” She responded, “No.” I was livid! Due to Maria’s incompetence and refusal to involve her superior, I am now being forced to reschedule. Back at the front office, attempts to reschedule this appointment were failing. My appointments were always scheduled for late afternoon, as I work in a surgical medical practice and need to come after seeing patients myself. I reluctantly accepted an appointment 3 weeks away, and requested the office managers contact information and that she please call me. I emailed the office manager about what had transpired that day, and awaited a response. After 24 hours of no response I called the office and asked to speak with her. In order to get the office manager, I had to ask for the practice administrator who IS THE OFFICE MANAGER. She proceeded to explain that their automated system had incorrectly transcribed my cellphone number despite it being correct in my medical record. She apologized and explained that she wishes her staff would have called her while I was still in the room. I had asked to NOT be informed of the gender of the baby from my very visit. I had asked for my medical record when things went south with the rescheduling of the anatomy scan, because I planned to switch specialists. The person who sent over my records INCLUDED THE BABYS GENDER!! That was the final straw. I was waiting for delivery! When I spoke with Lindsay about this she apologized and I said it’s sad the medical staff has NO IDEA how the staff is handling its patients. The worst doctors office I’ve ever been to!!!! They take two hours to see you just for a 15 minute visit. You call them for results you never receive a call back! Absolutely horrible!

Very disappointed with our experience here! I was told to leave the office because father’s cannot accompany the patient when it’s “ONLY” a gender reveal/anatomy scan visit. Surprisingly, when I FaceTimed the visit from the parking lot, they allowed a “trainee” to attend the entire visit!! 3 total people were allowed in the exam room (excluding the father of the baby), and they taught the trainee using our baby’s anatomy scan! When I complained to Lindsey, the office manager, she said “we do anatomy scans/gender reveals everyday so it’s NOT a big deal for us!” We will NEVER be back, and as future physicians, we will use Florida Perinatal Center as an example of HOW NOT TO TREAT PATIENTS! The staff and physician, Dr. Edwards , are extremely friendly. Unfortunately there is disconnect with the individuals who manage their appointment calendars. I wasn’t given an choice to go here, as my OB seemed my pregnancy “high risk” and this was one of the only centers in south Florida and the closest to me by 30 minutes. The first appointment I had here I waited OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF to have my ultrasound and speak to the doctor. I told them multiple times I had to be at work by 4pm and my appointment was scheduled for 1pm! I was 45 minutes late to work and they kept giving me the run around when I would ask how much longer. I offered to come back a different day (not even upset at the time) and they kept coming back saying it would be 5 more minutes. Every other time after that, the same issue. The most recent occurrence, I waited in my car OVER an hour just to get in the lobby. Very poorly handled appointments and scheduling personnel. I am almost done with my pregnancy now so it isn’t worth driving the extra 30 minutes to the other location but if you are reading this and can avoid this location, I would recommend it (if you have a life and other places to be besides at this office for 3/4 hours at a time). Friendly staff, great doctors, clean, modern office. Dr. Edwards is one of the best doctors i came across, she really took her time with me and explained everything in great detail. Ultrasound techs were great as well! I highly reccomend this practice!

When my wife needed a MFM for her medical care, Christine Edwards was our first choice. She did not disappoint. I was referred to come to this center after I had two miscarriages and was over 35 yrs old. From the beginning of my pregnancy with my baby girl the staff was professional and kind. The office is clean and well organized. I had blood work done here and the lab tech did her best to keep the gender a secret for me to have my gender reveal - I was diagnosed with GD and had to be monitored by having to fill out a glucose log and bring it with me at every visit- my baby did not get affected by GB as I kept it in range. I had my ultrasounds of my baby done here not at my OB/gym (don't know why).The ultrasounds were my favorite part because I was able to see my baby- the doctors kept monitoring me and my baby until I was 39 weeks when I had my baby. Before even seeing them each to I checked and ensure I owed nothing to them, when I was done with them, they sent me to the hospital and I asked him again do I owe anything, they said no you are all set. Now I get a invoice I was not aware of because I moved and it was sent to collections. I clearly asked what’s my co payments or what do I owe prior to going or when I was at the office. Prior to seeing the doctor, a day before, a contact was made to advise me $900 was required prior to seeing them, when asked why do they not run my insurance prior to me seeing the doctor, their excuse; because I have not met my deductible. Once I advised to cancel the appointment, she advise half can be paid and payment plan can be done after. No- cancel it. A new location was scheduled, not only did they NOT ask for $900, they did exactly what they were suppose to, run my insurance first, payment plan as I would be seeing them for a very LONG time- It’s already enough stress that we have to visit a specialist because of age, but the lease you can do is stop using the “deductible excuse” to ask for large amounts of money upfront. We Loved Dr Edwards and all the techs and staff that helped us with our pregnancy. Dr Edwards was meticulous and professional and we felt that nothing would be over looked. That gave us the confidence and peace of mind we needed .

Friendly and helpful front office staff. Sonographers are warm, take their time, and thoroughly explain ultrasounds. Doctors are compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive. I highly recommend Florida Perinatal Center and am grateful for the level care that they provided throughout both of my high-risk pregnancies.

I have waited 2 hours to get to my appointment. When I asked for my queue# and estimated time . They don’t have clue.

I’m extremely disappointed in the service I received! I never received my ultrasound images after contacting their office several times and each time I was told they would send them to me. My final attempt to retrieve my baby’s pictures I was told the images expired.

I was 20 weeks pregnant high risk patient who went to my 8am Perinatoligist appointment for a 20weeks full body scan of the baby where I was told by the Dr. Laffinuese everything was fine on 9/25/18. Less than 12hrs later my husband called the paramedics and I had to be rushed to the ER where I was told my cervix was gone/totally open. Two days later I delivered my baby who died . Please for the sake of your unborn baby do not step foot in that establishment. I had a good experience there, and I will say Dr. Edwards really puts more effort into her work and caring for patients than Dr. Laffenuse (not clear of the proper spelling of her last name), who came off inauthentic and not as caring and passionate about her work with patients as Dr. Edwards did. The wait time is usually not bad; between 10-30 minutes, but some days it can take an hour or more before you see an ultrasound technician/doctor. Every time I had an appointment, which was more often than I'd like, the waiting room was always clear and organized, and the bathroom appeared clean and fresh as well. Dr Edwards and her staff are lovely! They were so supportive throughout my pregnancy, and always available to answer all my questions. All of the staff members were very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely felt I was in goods hands with their team!

Dr. Edwards is very thorough when answering all of my questions. She takes the time with her patients and never makes you feel rushed. Office staff is friendly and almost always on time.

I got recommended to them by my regular obgyn because I had preterm labor.. when I went in 10 minutes before my appointment I waited about an hour before being taken to an ultrasound room.. the ultrasound tech was rude and rushed thru the scan.. I then waited in this room for another hour before being taken to yet another waiting room to see the doctor.. they then decided to hook me up to a fetal monitor for 20 minutes!! I waited another 30 minutes for a nurse to come in to plug me in! After the monitoring was done I waited another 30 minutes for Dr lauffinuse (however that’s spelled) who just came in looked at me and said I was good to go.. I paid my co pay of $55 and was assured I wouldn’t get charged anything else.. now I’m getting bills from this day of about $400!!! Like how???? Horrible service!!! Does not provide satisfactory information and doesn’t answer questions thoroughly. I never feel like I know more than what I knew before when I see her. The doctors and techs are always very nice but I felt like I was forgotton by the staff on both of my last 2 visits. The first after my scan I waited in the room for an hour before the tech came back in, seemed surprised I was still there and said “the doctor hasnt seen you yet?” Still was about another 20 before she made it in to speak to me. The last visit the tech hooked me up to the monitor and said it would be 10-20 minutes. Thirty minutes later the doctor came in, gave me results and said the monitor would be done and theyd get me out of there in “3 minutes.” Another 40 minutes went by and no one ever came back. I finally disconnected myself and walked out because I couldnt stand the pain my back was in in the chair. In general Florida perinatal center of coral springs is a good place. Especially Dr. Edwards who is a great doctor and also a great person. But today I had a bad experience my doctor was not there, So I have to see a different doctor, Dr. laura laffineuse. After I had a normal appointment and an ultrasound she was supposed to go inside the room and talk to me about my baby and her report but she never show up, instead she was sending me messages with the medical assistant. I've been through two high risk pregnancies while under Dr. Edwards' care. Dr. Edwards and her staff have been amazing, caring, and always putting in the needed time and care for each patient. Maria and Tracy are great staff and the office is very well ran (which seems such a rare thing nowadays)! Thank you to everyone in the office for taking care of me and my two babies!!! This is my second pregnancy and this was by far my favorite visit! Maria was so very sweet and made me feel extremely comfortable as a patient. The nurse practitioner was also amazing. I couldn’t imagine anyone leaving here unhappy after seeing these two!

Fantastic Drs and staff!! Would recommend to everyone. They were always so friendly and always accommodating. I don’t think anyone could have made this experience any better and easier.

I would give zero stars if possible. She is condescending and unnecessarily makes appointments just to charge insurance. She made recommendations that contradicted all other physicians based on subjective and personal opinions that are unfounded by current research and practice. When asked to simply explain her rationales, she gets extremely defensive and makes personal attacks. I don’t normally write these reviews, but I do feel obligated to warn other women against her practice

Dr. Edwards gave me and my husband a positive and professional experience during our visits at Florida Perinatal. She made us feel loved and comfortable enough to ask any questions or concerns and was efficient enough to explained everything very well.... thank you Dr. Edwards

I am very satisfied with my experience at the Florida Perinatal Center. I have been followed by both Dr. Edwards and Dr. Davidson, who are both very caring, kind and mostly very professional. They always made me feel comfortable and answered all my doubts and questions. I would definitely recommend this practice to any woman who is beginning the wonderful journey to motherhood!

Be prepared for terribly long wait times, especially if your appointment is later in the day. The staff and Doctor then rush you because they are behind!

Top-notch patient care. Drs. Edwards, Laffineuse, Davidson and their entire staff are phenomenal!
