Agree with other posts on here regarding them not doing contact lense fittings. This is the reason we went to an EYE DOCTOR. HELLO. Contacts are part of eye care. Save your money and go to an Optometrist and if they feel like you need a surgeon, then come here or another Opthomologist.

Until I moved in Feb. 2019 Dr. Thon treated me for severe dry eye. His care was superb: professional and appropriately compassionate. His treatment gave me relief that no other eye doctors had. HIs knowledge and experience proved to be invaluable. If it weren't for a 2 day drive, I'd continue to consult with Dr. Thon. I recommend him and his staff with no reservations. I will be forever grateful that I had his services for the time I did.

If you need contact lenses do not go here. They do not tell you when you call to make an appointment, and apparently have it listed in their waiting room, conspicuously since I never noticed it, that they only do eye glass fittings because they do not sell contact lenses. So, because they will not profit from you buying contacts from them, you are inconvenienced by having to get a contact lense prescription from an optician. Even though they can do it. Total waste of my time. I just wish they were more upfront when you call to schedule, thy way no one is confused when they don’t receive what ever other optometrist offers. Been going to him since I was a baby.

Dr Thon has a great personality. He is wonderful with kids and makes the visit a fun experience. He is an excellent doctor, very informative & educates his patients. I recommend Dr Thon to everyone!

Dr Thon was quite thorough and personable during my vision issue. I have moved several times and have have seen a number of eye doctors and Dr Thon is quite good.

Dr Thon is thorough and takes time with each patient. He relates equally well with children and adults. He is experienced and efficient, but always takes time to answer questions and connect on a personal level. I feel confident in his knowledge and expertise.
