Dr. Chris Phillip Ethridge

Dr Etheridge did surgery for 2 trigger fingers, and I wore a brace for 2 months and had physical therapy. Now I can’t open my hand and all fingers are going to the left. He said that there’s nothing he can do to just put my hand flat on a table to open hand. This is unacceptable.

He was very professional and very polite, I recommend him to anyone!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Etheridge! He is always attentive to my hand problems, gives good sound recommendations for treatment and I have always been pleased with results!

He is excellent in all ways. The injections which I had dreaded were easily completed with almost no pain. He makes a patient feel that he cares about their concerns. I will have joint replacement because I trust him as a Doctor.

Dr. Etheridge is most knowledgeable and very professional. He listens and is easy to talk to. He explains your condition and and recommends different courses of actions. His staff is friendly, informed and helpful. I trust him completely.

Dr Etheridge has helped my trigger fingers every two years or so when needed without hand surgery which I appreciate very much. He is the best! Very kind but so good at what he does!

The Carpal Tunnel Release and medial tunnel release was done back in 1994 and I have never had any problem with the carpal tunnel. The medial tunnel had to be released after 10 years due to a car wreck, plus the other elbow was done also. Dr. Ethridge is the only person I would see. He knows his stuff & is kind & mannerly.

I was able to get an appointment very fast. My right hand was hurting and had a large lump in the area of my trigger finger. The doctor explain what it was, and what need to be done. Then he took care of the problem, but a week later the lump came back and then I came back and was treated again. So far now the hand is much better.

Dr Ethridge always diagnoses the problem and has a plan t remedy the problem, all while being courteous and sympathetic with your concerns. Very good and gracious Doctor.

Dr. Ethridge is wonderful! Great bedside manner and puts you at ease. I would highly recommend MS Sports Medicine.

I finally have faith and getting some help after 28yrs with only one visit. Everyone was positive,polite and they listened to me.. EVERYONE from receptionist to the nurses to the Therapist ????. They are all special to me

Dr.Ethridge was excellent. I had an issue with my thumb, ended up being osteoporosis, he removed a bone and cleaned it up. No more pain. He explained the procedure and made sure we were on the same page.

Office was very busy , but I was checked in and seen within 1/2 hour . Wow!

Dr Etheridge has been my hand surgeon for years. What I like best about him is that he doesn’t rush to recommend surgery. He also explains things really well and is sure to review all your options regarding your problems. I can highly recommend Dr Etheridge with no reservation’s whatsoever.

Dr Ethridge is an excellent physician and surgeon. He has the most gentle and comforting bed side manner. He takes time to talk and explain things and he seems to genuinely care about you. He is a great doctor with a wonderful bed side manner. Very pleasant from a patient standpoint. I used him before and would use him again.

My visit was prompt and on time. Dr. Ethridge was very thorough and explained my treatment options. He recommended a course of action which was in my best interest which we will follow.

My wait wasn't bad at all before being called back to the exam room. I found Dr. Ethridge to be an excellent listener. He listened well enough to add information that accurately described what I was feeling and doing that was causing the pain, and how I wasn't using the hand that hurt at all. He gave me many options, took an x-ray, and injected a couple of joints. I appreciate the professional time that he gave me, as I know he is a busy physician, and surgeon. My daughter is an occupational therapist and said that she had seen very complicated hand problems that Dr. Ethridge worked on, and she insisted that I visit him for my problem. I am feeling less pain, and expect it to get even better.

Amazing Hand Specialists. Dr. Chris Ethridge!! Have used him for carpal tunnel for 20 years now! Excellent listener and great chair side manner.

My visit went very good, I had no problems getting checked in. The receptionist was very courteous and friendly. The whole staff that I came in contact with were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Ethridge to all my family and friends.

Dr. Etheridge spent time with me listening to my issues going over many options he had a very nice demeanor I liked him a lot he was sympathetic to my pain and I intend to use him for my arthritis surgery and also my carpal tunnel surgery

Facility is very organized at this challenging time with Covid. There were plenty wheelchairs available near the front door and plenty seating areas. Dr. Chris Ethridge is so kind and empathetic. His nurses/assistants were also very kind. Great experience.

I was pleased with Dr. Ethridge...he was not in a hurry, very patient explaining what I should do to improve my pain. I am pleased that Dr. Harrison recommended Dr. Ethridge.

Dr arrived and immediately extended hand, not gloved, to shake my hand. Seeing my hesitancy launched into recounting that he's already had Covid. Said it was no big deal, sick a couple days, etc. so he really didn't even need to wear a mask. REALLY? He thinks he's immune. If he is, Great! However, as a physician he should KNOW that he could also still be a carrier, even more so given his poor sanitary technique. I was there for evaluation of a condition and explanation of treatment options by a validated and skilled practitioner. I expect, and we should all demand, that doctors glove and that they leave their personal politics at home. Asked about DRs. specializing in another area, this person mentioned there were two at MSSP and "one of them is even a woman but I think I'd go to Dr???" which was the male specialist. This Doctor needs a wake up about COVID, proper PPE, ethical communication. In pain, I accepted 2 injections Dr. gave w/o. Ashamed I didn't leave immediately.

Dr. Ethridge is kind, compassionate, takes time to listen, and is a very competent physician and surgeon. Almost three years ago he performed surgery in my left wrist and I am very pleased with the result. I saw him for a different reason yesterday. I hope he continues to practice for many years!

Trigger finger

Dr Ethridge is an exceptional doctor. I live in Georgia, but continue to use MS Sports Medicine because of my past experience with the Orthopedic physicians there.

I have seen Dr Ethridge a couple of times. He is very thorough and informative about your problem. Takes time to hear your concerns and answer questions. Never seems to be in a hurry to move on to next patient. Very pleased.

Dr. Ethridge helped me postpone carpal tunnel release for more than twenty years. Then I had two successful surgeries. This year, he is helping me with trigger finger and it is improving. His reluctance to go to surgery and to try other remedies first and his gentle manner have earned my respect!

I have before but never needed him for my family until recently. Just as I knew hew was wonderful to my16 year old daughter!!
