Dr. Chitto P Sarkar

Went to this so called dr for 3 years. All he did was renew my prescriptions, if I tried to address a problem with him his response was “ he don’t do that” last August he sent me for blood work as a diabetic and my blood came back with high numbers, then the pandemic hit so for my next 2 visits his office did a phone call asked how I felt and renewed my scrips. Apex 6 weeks ago I went in for a visit he asked if I had gone back for blood I explained due to COVID I did not ( keep in mind his own office cancelled my appointment and I only got a call) he wrote out new script for blood which this time I felt safe going but 3 days later I received a letter from his office stating I basically was to sick for him to handle and to go find another dr,my mouth dropped after all isn’t that when you go to a dr is because you are sick? My last labs were over 1 year ago but now a year later he feels I’m to sick! I called the office and all I got was it’s nothing personal but go find another dr. I asked how will I get my daily meds such as insulin, heart and blood pressure meds and I was told when I find a new dr they will prescribe them. This is no Dr he is a coward just billing insurance companies. If I was so sick why wait 1 year to tell me, why when I saw him that Tuesday he didn’t say a word but 2 days later I get a letter. He is a wonderful doctor and very concernedfor his patients, and his nurse is fantastic.

Very disappointed new to Florida was looking for a new PCP also as a DO which this doctor had by his name on his sign. While in Maine always had a DO for a physician and they are able to do light manupilations, to my surprise here in Florida that is not so. Tried to continue my appointment asked what I was taken for meds which I gave him (2 RX), told him why I used them had not been on them for months because of moving and going to get a new doctor, he didn't seem to care just wrote the 2 RXS told me to see a chiropractor which I do not want to see and told him so. Didn't seem to care what my past history or anything just told me to get blood work done call in 3 months. I did not find this very personal or caring, asked if I was on Medicare and sent me on my way. If I had wanted just the 2 scripts I could have called Maine and had my other doctor call them into the pharmacy. I was very disappointed in trying to find a doctor. I have AETNA going to send them a grievance letter also, called member services to get the address and told them what happened. They did inform me that in Florida a doctor has to be a license practitioner to do minupilations a DO should be able to handle but not in this case So now need to look for a new PCP because this office was not interested in me.
