I am a military veteran who suffers from PTSD and depression. During a visit I expressed that I was very depressed, and he told me to get over it, everyone has problems, so I need to learn to deal with them and move on. I thank GOD that I was not in a place were I had suicidal thoughts, this man could have cost someone's life due to his lack luster attitude and inappropriate professional "bedside" manner. Oftentimes he would schedule appointments every 30 days, which for me was to collect the maximum amount he could (allegedly), because the appointments were unnecessary and my concerns were pushed aside to do vitals and dispute the current pain that I was and am currently feeling. Horrible horrible customer service, very unprofessional.

I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but he proved to be what the reviews and 2 others friends I referred said, unconcerned etc... Any Physician that tells an adult child to put their parent in a nursing home because of asking to complete paperwork for additional assistance, does not display concern/ compassion. Also, one should always find something positive to say to an individual, especially when one is not in best health. I am a patient of Dr.Patel for 8 years. I am very pleased with his care.

He is very thorough and advises what is right for you. He will not suggest any tests if they are not needed, but will sure do the tests, if it helps the diagnosis.

I am seeing dr.patel for many years. he is always helpful. his office staff is always very helpful. In about 12 years, I never had problem. He always explains everything in simple language that i can understand.

Me and my wife are going to Dr.Patel for over 12 years. he is an excellent doctor, we love him and his staff. he has always help us in difficult time by making accurate diagnosis and referring to specialist. we will continue to be his patient for a long time.

I do not think it is fair for any person to charge for a service he or she does not provide. Dr. Patel did not provide quality service to my son when he went to him for help with severe foot pain. I sceduled an appointment for my son, with Dr. Patel, because he was having severe foot pain. Dr. Patel told my son to come back when the condition was worse. Dr. Patel would not look at my son's foot. If he was unable to exmaine my son's foot, then he should have referred my son to another doctor. He did not have a problem charging my son an office fee, without providing an examination of his foot. I was livid when my son told me that Dr. Patel did not look at his foot. I am personally going to look at my son's medical claims from that office visit to see what charges and services were billed. We will file a fraudulent claim againt Dr. Patel if we need to.
