We like Dr. Chi Lam. He is our family doctor for a long time.
Never pick up the phone
Hard head old stubborn physician. Would not collaborate with other doctor no matter what. Even when my dad has lung cancer, he would not talk to the Oncologist to discuss my dad's case. He hardly picks up the phone for follow up but would call back if it is emergency - just like most of the Doctors at Garfield hospital. I hope he will team work with other physicians just like Doctors at Kaiser, UCLA, USC medical center and the like ! Hard head old stubborn physician. Thank you Dr Lam! Dr Lam has been my parents primary physician for 35 years. My mother who is 97 was in Garfield Hospital for heart attack related pneumonia. Under Dr Lam's care, she has recovered rapidly. Dr Lam was humorous & kind to his patients. He patiently explained to my Mom what happened & treatment options. My Mom is in good hand.
