Dr. Charles Virgil Voigt

Dr. Voight may be an accomplished physician but his bed side manner leaves much to be desired. My husband has an aggressive cancer. When we asked him to explain the biopsy procedure and the risks associated with it he told us he had used up enough words on us for the day. Very disheartening when all we needed were facts and a little reassurance during this very difficult time. I hope if he is ever sick and scared, his physician is kinder to him than he was to us.

Dr. Voigt did a biopsy on my dad, said it went well and sent him home. PET scan the following day showed Dad had collapsed lung from biopsy. Dad was going to Mayo so we asked for additional tissue so he wouldn't have to get rebiopsied. Not only was no additional tissue gathered but the sample taken was too small for the original test to be completed. On top of this was Dr. Voigt's arrogant demeanor. Dad suffered from the procedure which now must be repeated.
