I used to respect Dr Ragland years ago. I lost all respect when I as the daughter (and a RN) attempted to address issues with my parents. My dad had dementia and was eloping from home and aggressive with my mom, and Dr Ragland said “ your mom is fine caring for him. He does not need to go anywhere.” The Dr lost that dog fight. On my mom, she had MULTIPLE falls at home and I voiced concern, and he said @if she falls and breaks a hip that’s not my fault that’s on you.” Yes, she fell and broke her hip and then became very confused and could not return home, but the Dr said “she was fine and had no dementia” but has that diagnosis now but he told me “ YOU NURSES THINK……” I have NO RESPECT for a Dr that doesn’t listen to family that knows facts and what’s best AND he continued to prescribe narcotics for an 87 year old living alone that continues to fall. ??????. Not a good physician!!

Dr Ragland is an exceptional physician, as an RN I would know. He is highly respected by patients,their families, nurses, and his fellow physicians. We could not recommend him any higher.
