Dr. Oerhlein is THE BEST! As an endurance athlete who runs marathon, it is SO frustrating when you have an injury that keeps you from doing a sport you love. I found Dr. Oerhlein through a running friend, who happens to be Dr. Oehrlein's wife, and I am SOOOOO glad I did! Dr Oehrlein, first and foremost, is a super knowledgeable professional. His credentials are solid. Second, he's caring and thorough, and does something pretty rare in a physician - he actually listens and cares about his patients. Third, he's helped me to clear up a misdiagnosis on my foot, and we're on track to healing. I can't run like I used to, but I discovered cycling and love it, and I trust Dr. Oehrlein and trust the process. His front office and clinical staff are awesome too, and it's a joy to go there. I'm not afraid of needles at all, but I've heard that a long needle in your foot ranks up there as one of the most difficult to endure. Dr. Oehrlein is fantastic at giving shots, and I barely feel my injections. Overall, if you want someone who can really help you, go to Dr. Oehrlein and Hoover Foot Center! Monday and Wednesday Dr Oerhlein is the visiting podiatrist at St Vincent's Blount Hospital in Oneonta.

Well I don't know I need surgery but can't get anyone to answer the phone so I can set up an appointment so I can't review the doctor but evidently he needs office staff

Dr. Oehrlein is a fantastic podiatrist. He services the nursing home where I work. I would and have recommended his services to residents and other co-workers. He takes time with each of his patients and shows a great level of care and pride in what he does.

Wonderful doctor. I love the way he interacts with his patients. Very great personality, knows how to make you feel comfortable and take away any worries you may have. He is able to help out our residents at the nursing home. Also it was a wonderful thing he and his nurses and office staff did for our residents and collected items for Christmas, stocking stuffers. The residents loved all the things brought. It was greatly appreciated.

Dr. Oehrlein and his staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. He has helped me greatly with my foot pain (neuropathy). I highly recommend him!

Wonderful doctor!!!!! Friendly staff, the lady at the front desk will fight your insurance company when they give incorrect information. She will go to bat for you.

Dr. Oehrlein is wonderful! I had slammed my foot against the corner of my bed & thought I broke my toe, and he was the first person I reached out to! He was able to see me quickly and treat my toe! Also, he's hilarious! He definitely will make you feel comfortable & at ease, & I completely trust his knowledge and expertise! He's also more than happy to answer any questions you have! I've seen a lot of podiatrists over the years, but I have definitely found my new specialist in Dr. Oehrlein

Receptionist very inconvenienced by my asking if they accepted my Military Prime insurance. Was not sure if the office accepted it and that I would have to call for the approval or she would do it later at her convenience. I have a written referral from my UAB Dr and made her aware of this. She remained inconvenienced by my call so I will look elsewhere.

Impossible to talk to the office. Their phone system does not allow speaking to a person.
