On time appointment which was really nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Dr. Milem was compassionate and explained everything in detail. He even showed me the X-rays - not sure what I was looking at but it was still pretty cool. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Milem.

This was my second time dealing with Dr. Milem for hip replacement surgery. In 2006, he replaced my right hip. In May of 2021 he replaced my left hip. Both surgeries went very well. I believe Dr. Milem and his staff are true professionals. They are so very easy to work with on every level. I recommend Dr. Milem to anyone that is considering hip surgery. Dr. Milem has taken his time with me and worked with me through various issues. I have been his patient for almost 30 years and am grateful for his knowledge, skill and patience.

All encountered staff at Advanced Orthopedics in Owensboro were courteous, helpful and professional. I have been in nursing for almost 40 years and in my professional opinion Dr Milem chose the right treatment plan for me at this point I will return there as needed and will recommend Advanced Orthopedics to my family, friends and co-workers. Dr. Milem has been my orthopedic surgeon for any years. I like his straightforward approach. He takes his time and answers questions well. He is good at managing pain post op; I felt better the day after hip surgery than I did the day before.
