Dr. Mathis and his staff are the best!! Dr. Mathis is such a talented and compassionate surgeon. I wish more doctors cared as much as Dr. Mathis. A huge thank you.

Everyone associated with Dr. Mathis' group and the hospital personnel went out of their way to make sure me and my wife knew exactly what was going on with the procedure and its' recovery phase. They are extremely professional and communicative.

Today was my first visit to Dr. Mathis and if you discount my confusion on where to park (the parking garage is the right place) the entire process was low stress, professional and exceeded my expectations of what seeing a new doctor might be like. Dr. Mathis is the most caring and talented surgeon I've ever encountered. He saved my life and I can never thank him enough. He is truly a precious gift from God.

One night I needed to go to the hospital and luckily I went to Texas Health on Randal Mill. I was admitted quickly and easily. The admitting doctor knew exactly what needed to be done and I was then sent to a room. There I met the surgeon, Doctor Mathis, for the first time and we discussed my problem. My first thought was I don't know this doctor but before he left my room I felt like I was in good hands. I was right. From then on my confidence grew and it has been one of the easiest operations and recovery I have experienced. Everyone who helped along the way courage me and was very helpful. Dr Mathis is a gentle, caring person and a great surgeon. I was lucky to end up at Texas Health Hospital among such a qualified staff. Excellent surgeon and physician. He made the process much smoother and did a great job breaking down medical concepts into understandable information for both me and my family. I can't recommend him highly enough for gallbladder surgery.
