Good doc, thorough and a good sense of humor.

This review is not to criticize the Cardiologist who is more than competent. But to alert patients to avoid the Newton Office of Advanced Cardiology. Whereas our experience with the Staff of the Cedar Knolls office was very good with our elderly mother, this this cant be said about the their Newton Office. I'll relate what happened to my mother while visiting that office and having to deal with the staff. At the time, my mother was suffering from edema which would cause her legs swell so much as to deform them. While she was being attended to by a male RN named Justin in another room, the brute somehow managed to tear the skin on my mother's right leg on with her own walker. Worse he didn't even seem apologetic about what had happened. The rest of the staff gave the impression of resentment towards my mother because they would have to clean up from the wound. I had to bring my mother to The ER. but the wound didn't heal for some time and even got infected that required being hospitalized. This ordeal lasted a couple of months. This was the complete opposite of our experience with the Cedar knolls stall who were very good to my mother. This cant be said about the Newton office staff. Avoid these people.

Not to criticize the Cardiologist who is competent. To warn about Newton Office of Advanced Cardiology. Hands down the best there is. I’ve been with Dr Marotta since the 90’s and I’ll NEVER see anyone else. He takes his time, answers all your questions and makes sure everything is done by the book. My only hope is that he never retires.

Dr Marotta saved my life 15 years ago in the emergency room at Morristown hospital. I was brought in by ambulance with a severe heart attack. Fortunately for me Dr Maritta was there and treated me. Since Dr Marotta has performed three stent procedures on me. If your main concern is a top notch cardiologist he's the guy.

Dr. Marotta is very thorough and helpful. Saw Dr. Godkar his associate in hospital and he was also very helpful and communicative.

Office staff is arrogant, rude and condescending. Billing manager does not like to admit when an error to billing is done by office staff. billing office will not correct problem. States its the patients responsibility to take care of. Misapplies payments to wrong account with payments made in office. Although Dr. Marotta is a great doctor, I will not be going back because of the poor treatment from office staff.
