I went to DR Malinick . The staff was very profesional and welcoming. Dr Malinick was very knowledgeable and he really listen to all my concerns and was very attentive, he helped me understand much more about my condition. I received an invoice for $100 2.5 years after my son's 15 minute visit on 3/22/19 for a supposed unpaid balance. I was a cash customer (no insurance) so nothing was left unpaid! I just wasted nearly 3 hours looking for this little receipt. But I found it! I think they owe me $1200 now ($100x12 fifteen minute sessions). If you go see him, save your receipts. Office staff are very unprofessional.

When looking for a doctor to help your depressed pre-teen, one would hope to find a warm, caring office with a doctor whose demeanor is closer to, "I'm here to help you", than the outward frustration exhibited by Dr. Malinick. My wife and son reported to their appointments and were met with the most terrible client service imaginable. Aside from the older receptionist, all others in the office are cold, rude, and annoyed at the patient's presence. We've since found a new doctor for my son and have thus far been very pleased. Dr. Malinick needs to retire; he's no longer cutout for offering the care needed to support mentally afflicted youth. Don't pick a psychiatrist without doing some research- you'll be glad you did in the long run. I have been coming to Dr. Malinick for a few years and I am very happy with the service. Front staff is very accommodating and friendly. I feel that Dr. Malinick sincerely cares about my well-being. I highly recommend them.

Charges a ridiculous fee for a 15 min appointment, that you must have monthly, because he doesn't prescribe more than 1 month at a time. I don't coddle my kid by any means, but his tactic of drilling questions into a child with anxiety (which is why he is there) in hopes he can "get over it" and answer them is not healthy. Recommends certain types of therapy but unable to recommend any providers. Very disappointing. Glad I found a friendlier psychiatrist elsewhere...the changes in my child from seeing someone kinder is amazing.

I will not recommend this doctor. Pure business to make money not to help. He said to my daughter as soon as I saw you I knew you had depression! What the heck and who is he to say that? My daughter is well joust needed someone to talk to. He said you know I’m a psychiatrist and I prescribe medication I’m not here to listen and talk but will analyze her situation and medicate her. I pray that God will heal all people battling depression and this doctor is accountable to God for not helping!!!

Dr. Malinick is extremely considerate of patient goals, and understands how to achieve results while considering individual/unique responses and reactions to the more commonly prescribed approaches for various conditions. After an early and brief period of trial and adjustment, he established a medical regimen that works. I've been on a treatment plan of his design that has barely been adjusted (very minor dose adjustments) for years and I'm the healthiest, happiest, and most fulfilled with my life that I think I've ever been. Great man! Sees my son and myself. He has helped us battle through depression and made an extreme change in our lives! Couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
