This man is useless!!

Dr. Maker is one of the most compassionate yet to the point doctors I have ever had. Playing off a couple of the reviews I saw on here...If you are looking for a shoulder to cry on to make you feel better about yourself.... he's not your guy. He's a PCP, not a psychiatrist. If you want someone to work with you and supply medical care that you need, there is nobody better. He stops what he is doing and actually sits down to listen to and answer any questions you have. This has happened on several occasions. I have never seen that before going to Dr. Maker, With previous doctors, it is one hand on the doorknob and one foot out the door. Not here. Very thorough and gives me a hard time if I am not making healthy choices. Tells it like it is and wants you/me to be healthier. I don't always like what I hear, but it's always in my best interest. * * * * *

Mr. Maker has been my primary care physician for almost 20 yrs. He has an excellent bedside manner and will help you navigate the insurance system to get the services you need. I have read a couple of the one star reviews on this web site and find them straining credibility as Maker has been professional with me at every appointment.

Excellent doctor

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Maker for at least 30 years and find him to be compassionate, caring and pleasant. He is always interested in what is going on, will see us when sick at a moments notice. We feel blessed to have him in our team of medical caregivers and trust his judgment.

Terrible bedside manner, very rude and impatient. I found him to be one of the most unprofessional providers I have ever come in contact with. He would greatly benefit from a review course on appropriate physician patient interaction, specifically patient respect and privacy.

Horrible doctor. My boyfriend has been going to him for years, I have been begging him to find a new doctor. He is extremely rushed and impatient, gets annoyed when you ask him any questions, is NOT helpful at all. He has sent him to three different horrible specialists for different reasons (ortho, ENT and dermatology/oncology). The ENT doctor insisted that there is no connection between your ears and your throat/mouth. Apparently he's never heard of the eustachian tube. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOC

A bad doctor and a bad person. He is irresponsible. When asking for help to quit smoking hi s response was "I don't know what to tell you". He is far too quick to request a CT scan (after having pain in my side I was given a pregnancy test, when that came back negative the next step was a CT scan) I was seen for a foot injury that left me nearly unable to walk and was never given crutches.

Horrible doctor that only has a decent personality! Out of the office within 10 minutes..doesn't fully check the elderly! My parents see him. Mom left cause he never discovered diabetes 1, congestive heart failure (she almost died), or high cholesterol! I could go on & on??
