Very good Doctor. He’s done all of my major surgeries. I’ve never had any issues with him and his staff.

Excellent experience. The PA took time to learn about me and explained what I needed to do before my procedure. I have had several procedures done by Dr. Jones and have always been happy with the outcome.

From the beginning to the end, my visit with Dr.Jones was very nice, (as much as a doctors visit can be.)

They sat down with me and explained everything before my procedure and then again the day of and then checked up with me right after. Then another time a lil time after again. Really awesome doctor and he has wonderful staff and assistants.

Full and complete discussion of procedure prior to surgery and full follow up after surgery to discuss what to expect moving forward. Comprehensive and compassionate through entire process. I would definitely recommend his service.

I couldn't have asked for better care. Any questions I have are explained thoroughly, I have never felt rushed during an appointment, and everyone, absolutely everyone - has been kind and caring. During this time and what I've been going through I seriously could asked for better.

Excellent care by all. Doctor very attentive and caring. Very positive atmosphere overall.

Despite being very short staffed, working in overly warm conditions, and obviously worn out by fighting Covid, I received excellent, friendly, and top quality care. I have received care from big modern hospitals in CA. Ashe Memorial and Dr Jones showed a higher caliber of healing that money and technology cannot provide. I am very grateful to Dr Jones, his staff in office, and his supporting colleagues at Ashe hospital for all of their efforts on my behalf. As a side note, he is relatively famous in the area, so it was nice knowing I was being cared for by the local "Rockstar". I've had Dr Jones as a surgery a few times. The first time a few years back was to remove a mesentery cyst. It was a very rare procedure as few ever get one. It went well and my recovery went well. Last year he did a hernia surgery on me. Recently due to COVID 19 he's taken over for looking after a surgical wound I had from Forsyth to remove a pressure sore Stage IV. He has done a great job always for me. I've had Dr Jones as a surgery a few times. The first time a few years back was to remove a mesentery cyst. It was a very rare procedure as few ever get one. First office visit and I found the staff very friendly. In talking to Dr Jones I found out he is a local boy who made good (college/medical school) and returned to Ashe County to practice. He is very personable and a country boy at heart.

Great service from Dr Jones. His professional approach to his work and his personal approach to his patients make him an excellent asset to this community in Ashe County. Dr. Jones did not display the professionalism I have experienced with other doctors. I have been told he is a "jokester"; however, after a colonoscopy, he looked me in the eye and declared that "I don't know if I took any pictures of the procedure"-twice! I had to locate and sign for the pics myself! I have had two colonoscopies in Asheville; friends have had the procedure in Winston Salem; and my sister-in-law (a retired RN) had hers in Johnson City. We all walked out carrying our pics.

An outstanding surgeon in a small hospital. Dr. Jones removed my gall bladder and it went wonderfully. When my son needed his gall bladder removed, he came up from the Raleigh area to have Dr. Jones do the work, and when my daughter needed her gall bladder removed, Dr. Jones also did the work and avoided complications by catching a very tricky configuration. There is no better surgeon for what he does in the country.
