Office staff at Premier Care is always fast and friendly. Dr. Holmsten has always listened carefully to my symptoms and has been quick to diagnose and find the right treatment. I greatly appreciate him and his staff!

Dr. Holmsten is great, he has been our primary care and family physician for over 20 years.

People who actually serve the community are rare in this society. Dr. Holmsten to me is good at what he provides to the community I been coming here for 8 years now I been to a lot places and look at other places just to always come back here because of there service like they pick up the phone to answer your calls, schedule in your visit, prices are fair, no crazy Bills after the visit, doctors excuse. I am on my 21st anniversary with Dr. Holmsten, I was nearly 400lbs when we first met. Now I am down to 260lbs. He has been through alot with the floods and all. I will continue to be a patient with patience with his new staff. He has always been good to me, just a true professional of his profession.

Have been coming here with Dr.Holmaten for about a year now. They have great service the ladies at the front desk are very welcoming and sweet, as is Dr. Holmsten. Not only that but they help you get better by running test etc before they prescribe you any medication , i have not felt comfortable going to any other clinic to get checked out when I have my rainy days. Not good and not certified to do MMI

Been going to Dr. Holmsten's family practice for 2yrs now and I am completely satisfied with him. Bedside manner and all. He's the first doctor in 10 yrs who has been able to pinpoint appropriate meds that relieved my back pain from arthritis without me having to take pills everyday of my life! He's got a forever patient in me.

I have been visiting him for over 19years now. He is dependable and I trust him with my life.

Would definitely recommend finding another doctors office. I have never met the actual doctor but that is the problem I have been there twice now. First visit I set an appointment up for a Friday morning. When I arrived I was told that they didn't have an appointment on the books for me. I said ok mistakes happen no big deal. I re-scheduled the appointment for the following Friday. I later changed it to Tuesday morning due to a couple scheduling conflicts and they set me up and all was good. My appointment was for a physical and a flu shot. When I arrived this morning I was told he was with someone and if I wanted to wait an hour he could see me then. I agreed to wait the hour so I would not have to re-schedule once again. About 10 minutes into waiting I heard the doctor start talking to the receptionist at the front and arguing with her that he can't do my physical and to tell me to come back another time. Extremely unprofessional to do that in front of the patients in the waiting room and she tried to explain to him that I had an appointment and he didn't care and said he would not be doing my appointment. I understand you are busy but maybe space out your appointments to something that can fit your schedule or don't schedule them at all if you can't fulfill your workload. The receptionist at the front was polite and apologized but did start to make excuses as they didn't have my number to tell me they couldn't do it and they thought I was only there for a flu shot even though right when I walked in they knew I was there for a physical and flu shot. They offered to re-schedule again but I will be going to another doctor not because I don't think the doctor knows what he is doing but because I can't keep taking off work hoping that he can actually see me during my appointment time or at all. Very unorganized establishment. I do feel bad for the receptionist that she has a doctor yell at her and argue in front of patients. Probably not the best profession for him to be in. I don't ever leave reviews and always give the benefit of the doubt to the establishment but this was one of those "is this actually happening" moments and I feel people should know the level of service or lack there of they would be receiving when using this doctor. My experience was always informative, the doctor always listen to my problems. My family really appreciate his work.

Looking for a primary physician in the area to get an annual physical and called and made an appointment and seemed a bit unprofessional just in that interaction. As I was checking in I witnessed a man come in and say to the receptionist I need a doctor's note for my employer for yesterday today and tomorrow. She said okay then I was called in. I wondered if they sell doctor's notes or maybe he forgot to get one before he left last time? I don't know....the place seemed old and dark and on the sketchy side. Dr was nice enough just seemed preoccupied. Not a very busy morning when I was there either. Not going back. Dr Holmsten is a really good Dr the only thing I dont like it is very quick when he comes in and checks you out so you have to make sure you have all questions ready besides that he has always always accurate and good DR.

Great doctor

I find Dr. Holmsten getting too old to remember his patients. He always seems to have too many in his office to visit the appropriate time need with me. Just yesterday his staff said "he is too busy to talk with you". I'm considering changing my PCP doctord.

i have been knowing Dr. Charlse G Holmsten for so many years now, and i can re cormend him for any body. i am so glad to have him as my primary physician.

I usually don't write reviews, but read two negative reviews for Dr. Holmsten which struck me as unfair and delusional. Dr. Holmsten has been my family practice doctor for over 10 years and I trust him implicitly. His experience and knowledge is pretty hard to beat, and he knows when to send you to a specialist. I recommend him highly. Oh, and if you read the review from the guy in the bicycle wreck, he had plenty of time to go to movies and on long plane rides before coming to the doctor. I think he is a scammer shopping for a doctor who will give him pain meds, or maybe he simply hit his head in the wreck. Dr. Holmsten has been my Grandad's doctor for many years and I began going there a few years ago. I trust Dr. Holmsten and he has always prescribed the best medication on the market for whatever illness I have had. Dr. Holmsten has been my doc for going on two years and while I read some of these negative comments, I have nothing bad to say about the doc. Keep in mind he's a busy man so if you're going in there and wanting to have some long drawn out conversation, he's got other patients waiting. So far every problem I've had he's been able to save me money due to having phlebotomy and x-ray services onsite, saving me the copay for each. Dr. H isn't about throwing pills at problems, he's about finding the causes and addressing those. I think he's a great doc but I'm a very organized person. If you're having any problems, write down what you're going to say, symptoms and bring in any research. I'm sure you'll have a better experience. Not a good doctor at all. In fact, in my case, it could have been deadly. I got the impression he only cares about processing patients to collect money and not making sure they will be okay. I'm not going to go into what my experience was. It's personal. It involved sloppy paperwork and other things. I'm lucky to be here today to write this review. I just want you guys to know that this doctor is not good. I come from a family that has lots of doctors. He is not one of the good ones. Not a good doctor at all.
