3 words. Waste of time. I walked out because the wait was so long I had to go to work. The lady @ the front desk lee told my mother she would be seen and she kept her waiting in the cold waiting room for 2 hrs and then she wanted to catch an attitude w/ me. Very unprofessional

I have never written a review like this before but I was so hurt by the treatment provided to me after speaking with front desk/ office manager. She shouted and spoke over me so disrespectful. She pretty much told me I wasn’t a priority. This lady is had no respect for patients and had no level of professionalism. So disappointed. The doctor abuses people's insurance. He has all patients do tests for which he bills excessive amounts including allergy testing even for patients which have no symptoms or problems currently or in the past. Billed my insurance over $10K for an allergy test not requested or needed (this is why insurance rates are so high in the US....). This is not the first time this type of excessive billing has occurred. Also, he does not read his notes or results properly as stated in other reviews. He told me urine results looked good...then I told him they did not take urine sample, at which time he said go do one now. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I just cancelled all future appts and will not go there again.

Awesome Doctor! He took the time to listen. Answered all my questions and addressed my concern. The staff was very nice and professional.

As a holistic medicine practitioner myself, I fully appreciate Dr. Herrera's updated knowledge in not only convetional medicine, but also nutritional alternative to prescription drugs. When I refer to Dr. Herrera, I always tell people that he does not "push" drugs on you.

Doctor Herrera is awesome! Most doctors nowadays listen to your complaints, take your money and still refuse to help you until things get way out of hand. I like Dr. Herrera. I've been going to his office for about 10 years now. He spends quite a bit of time with his patients, which is rare. He is thorough and happy to explain things. I'm not afraid to ask questions here. The office is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

As I read these reviews, it's sad that somebody actually had the time to create most of these fake reviews to tarnish Dr. Herrera's image. My family and I have been coming over here for a while, and let me tell you something: he is one of the best doctor's that we ever had in our lives! Very methodical, knowledgeable, and most importantly: he really takes his time to get to the bottom of the issue/concern. Everybody in the office is very pleasant: from Sandra at the front desk to Narmy who administer my injections on a weekly basis. Of course, you may experience a delay here and there, but that's what happens when you go to a good doctor's office. Wish I could give this office 0 stars. The front office are the worst people I have ever dealt with. Lie through their teeth. Don't do anything they say they will even after say they will tons of times. I am transferring out of this office.

Amazing doctor but poor customer service at the front desk. Never answer the phone to set up an appointment. Do a walk in and they asked me why I didn’t call to do an appointment! Smh

The customer service is horrible and the professional courtesy is worse. When they answer the phone, their tone is depressing and they don't introduce themselves when they answer. I would recommend some customer service training and/or getting new staff. I put 1 star because I have too.

I was recently diagnosed with something that forced me to be rushed to ER. I'm so young the hospital staff kept asking me during questioning if my primary care physician ever gave me any idea hat this could happen since there are early signs. I felt like an idiot becasue he did not. Looking back, there were so many signs especially with my family history that he knew and he said nothing. With all the blood, urinary, and ultra sound testing you would think they would have notified me but all they ever said that I was fine. Trusting this office with my health is one of my biggest regret in life. They are not mean but they are also not meant to be in business. There was not only one sign but at least several that gave earl indication of my diagnosis. I'm regretful that I was able to switch. What made it worst was that when I came out of the hospital and told them that I needed to check up with a physician in 3-5 days per hospital policy, they said they can't see me for another couple of weeks. Dr. Herrera himself is very nice. However, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!! The front office is absolutely awful. My fiance comes to this office and I sometimes come with him. Firstly, the front office is not friendly, they do not greet you at all, just keep the window shut. He has been seen a few times and every experience has been a nightmare. In recent events, the front office and whoever answers the phones has told us they would call us back about a very time sensitive and important matter and HAVE NEVER CALLED BACK. Four times! Dr. Herrera is a phenomenal practitioner. He has been a lifesaver over and over not only to my friends and family but has also saved me. His knowledge is beyond amazing. He will spend time with you to explain conditions and treatment options. For almost 30 years I have put my faith in him and he has never let me down. I work in the medical field and to say that I strongly recommend him is an understatement. If you have to wait for him it’s only because he’s in demand and he is well worth it!

Dr. Herrera saved my kidney. After a yearly exam, the doctor determined there was something wrong with my kidney numbers. He sent me for a series of tests to determine the cause of the high numbers. Other doctors did not share Dr. Herrera's concern. I ultimately had surgery removing a tumor growing around my kidney. If Dr. Herrera had not originally realized there was a problem, and had he not had me pursue testing, I would have lost my kidney. I highly recommend Dr. Herrera.

Dr. Herrera has helped me tremendously with my many health issues. He is intuitive and has a different approach that has benefited all of my health issues. His office staff is always on point to handle all of my needs.

The Doctor is a very thoughrough individual, he takes his time to evaluate your concerns. Now as for his STAFF! Especially that PATRICIA WOMAN AND THAT SO CALL NURSE SANDRA! UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, INSENSITIVE, NASTY, TWO-FACED, ETC. SANDRA the So-Called Nurse never understand when she is spoken to, she interprets things in her own little head and in her own little way. I do recommend Dr. Herrera without any reservations. His practice is a very busy one, so be patient. After all, good care is worth it.

Dr. Herrera takes care of our family and some of our friends. He is an outstanding diagnostician and physician. My wife had a couple of emergencies this year and the whole staff was incredibly helpful and supportive. Thank you Dr. Herrera!

The rudest, most unprofessional office I have ever dealt with. I would not recommend Dr Herrera to anyone. From his receptionist, Sandra to office manager, Rosa to Dr. Herrera himself, the most disrespectful and argumentative staff you will find. Rosa yelled at me on the phone and then hung up on me and Dr. Herrera himself decided to make a pysch evaluation of my father over the phone, telling him he always thought he had a personality disorder. Stay away at all costs.

Nothing has changed in this office. I worked here 2 years ago. Still a very unprofessional office. Rude, work never gets done, cursing, playing around. The Dr. needs to do something about this before he has no patients. I had to leave here.

Dr. Herrera had been my sister's doctor for a long time. The last time she saw him, complaining about dizziness and nausea, he sent her home with a script for anti-nausea meds and told her to make an appointment with an ENT. She died shortly after, because he did not recognize women's symptoms for a heart attack - which are (in case anyone's interested) shortness of breath, weakness, unusual fatigue, cold sweat, dizziness, nausea, and discomfort centered in the high chest. Absolutely love Dr. Herrera because of his thoroughness and treatment plan he sets in place. Hes on point with everything which is why I deal with his insubordinate staff who walk aroind clueless. They have no common sense and lack a ton of professionalism. Sadly, Ive seen this Dr lose tons of patients over his staff. They remodeled and rehired but from what Ive seen, they work the same. You wait forever for referrals, they talk loudly about the patients which you can clearly hear.

He was rude I agree he writes on computer and that's it leaves the room no exam you think he is coming back but never does he does not care about how you are treated by him or his staff office makes a lot of mistakes reading and writing in your chart. His staff is very rude and you have to wait forever to has any forms filled out for insurance and when it is filled out there is usually a mistake because his staff doesn't understand what any medical word or medication is.

He has no manners whatsoever. He examines you briefly and then spends the rest of the time writing in his computer and dictating to an assistant who has another computer. After he's finished , he leaves abruptly , leaving you with a lot of unanswered questions. Does not pay much attention to your health concerns. His office staff is very rude. Referrals take over 15 work days to obtain. My only visit to his office was more than enough to decide I didn't want to keep going to this Dr.

It's sad to see that people use their personal frustration to attack someone else's reputation. I've been with Dr. Herrera for more than 10 years now and always being treated with courtesy and respect. Of course the staff sometimes is overwhelmed with impatience patients (I guess this makes perfect sense!!!! Most people that go to visit a Dr. is usually in lack of it!!!) and I have to wait a little longer at the waiting room, but it's like any other office. People forget to be thankful when everything is good. I really appreciate Dr Herrera's impeccable character and professionalism, he is always there when you need him, always friendly and caring. I would give him only one suggestion.......prescribe some chill pills for those complainers and impatience patients, maybe then we can be more easy going. WOW These people are a nightmare! I have been going to see Dr. Herrera for 15 years. It's been 4 since my last visit so when I called, they told me I would be considered a new patient and I cannot be seen for 2 months. Ok, fine... Doctor Charles Herrera is a wonderful Doctor to work with. His office manager Lee and Debbie who does the referrals are very unprofessional. The sit in the office all day and play, curse, make slurs about lesbians and being ratchett and ghetto.They never get any work done. If you call to get a referral done Debbie will put the paper to the side until she feels like doing it. Lee is a very bad example of an office manager. She plays, dances, and curses all day long.
