He is very understanding, patient and wants to make sure you are comfortable and reassured , good sense of humor

While in the hospital with respiratory failure, pneumonia, and being on a ventilator Dr Gensmer came to my room and and asked "How many times do you want us to do this? Put you on a vent and all the measures we went through?" I said as many times as it takes. He said "I would discharge you tomorrow and put you on Hospice. I would give you a year or less" Never have I seen such rude and disrespectful behavior by a Dr. I had family members in my room and this should have been discussed privately
