Mr. Charles Keith Funderburk

After sitting in the waiting area for hours after my appointed time, I would finally be placed in a room only to wait longer. This past visit on my FIRST visit he asked me if I thought I had the flu or Covid. If I knew I wouldn't be there describing my symptoms, I would tell you I had it and I'm not the doctor, he is. So he said he thought I only had a cold. So the nurse came in and said I was getting the same prescriptions everyone else has been getting the past few weeks. I took my medication for the 10 days and I got worse. Went back the second time. He only prescribed me an antihistamine and told me if I didn't get better then just call back and he would prescribe something else over the phone and I wouldn't have to come in. Well I got real bad and I wanted a steroid pack and antibiotics. I called and the nurse said I had to be seen even though I was just there 4 days prior and he said I didn't have to! I went in a third time, waited again, and he prescribed me the steroid pack (which he put in the next day, he always calls prescriptions in for his patients the next day or two!) and he never did put in the prescription for the antibiotics.

Dr Funderburk is wonderful, he is a very nice man. He pays a lot of attention to you, and he also takes time to hear, what you want to say. He is very easy to talk to and he does not rush you.The nurses there are great, very friendly and they also Listen very well to what you have to say . The inside is very clean and they try real hard to not put you in with a lot of sick people. The rest of the other worker there have all been very kind! I would highly recommend Dr Funderburk!

Dr. Funderburk has been my family doctor for over 25 years. I have the utmost trust in him. He is always willing to listen about your ailments or just about what is going on in your life, He believes in test and xrays, but only when needed. He will work with you on treatments. He doesn't believe in giving pills just for the sake of it. He believes in only using pills when needed.

Generally a good experience, although like most doctor's offices, delays can and will occur. He is a very good doctor.
