Quick and easy check in, short wait time for appointment, short wait time to see Doctor Filipiak who was very pleasant, easy to talk to, and very thorough.

This is my first encounter with Dr. Filipiak, MD. Very friendly, very nice. Very professional. Found it interesting that ProMedica forces all of their staff and patience to wear masks when it clearly states on the box of masks that it “Does not protect against viruses”????? I feel sorry for the staff having to wear them all day. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Dr Filipiak listened, answered my questions and I didn’t feel hurried. Very nice man. Office staff was super nice and informative.

A very detailed visit. Explained various medical conditions clearly. Our first visit and we were very comfortable with Dr. Filipiak.

Very nice, helped to expedite my referral to a General Surgeon., and get my surgery done quickly. Very nice to speak with. I would recommend him.

Didn’t feel rushed and felt Dr listened to me explain my issues. I felt he was genuinely concerned and simply explained what next steps are in my treatment plan. I feel confident that I am in good hands.

I was impressed with the visit both due to the time I was given to express my situation and for the doctor’s response to it. There was an understanding and honesty in Dr. Filipiak’s words.

Everyone at this office was professional but still made me feel right at home. I highly recommend.

Have been seeing Dr. Filipik M.D. for my digestive needs for 16 years. He is a very effective and learned medical doctor.

Dr Charles Filipiak definitely one of the best doctor around. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to your needs. You do not just feel like a number walking through the door. He makes sure you understand your condition and explains in detail what procedure you need to have done. Highly recommended!

Dr. Filipiak is the most patient, kind and thorough doctor with an amazing bedside manner! He is always smiling and takes the time to answer every question without feeling like you’re being rushed out the door! His staff is extremely friendly and helpful!!

I guess Dr. Filipiak isn't going to do my colonoscopy or endoscopy? I have had both of my Covid-19, CHINA Virus injections as Toledo Hospital never called me to test me for same. I have not had any A-Fib episodes in five years and I do not have any heart issues at all. My blood pressure is and has been normal for several years and my A1C at last check was 6.4. If that isn't good enough I will look for another GI doctor as it has been almost five years since my last checks of both at St. Anne's Hospital. No I do not need any more appointments to go over what I just went over in August, repetitive, I just need the procedures please. Thank you. Craig S. Breitner

Very dismissive, doesn’t really listen. Has no sense of urgency when you are totally miserable and have been for months. Doesn’t explain things, and when pressed is patronizing about it. Choose a different GI doctor and do yourself a favor.

He calls himself a compassionate doctor, far from it. Would not see a very sick patient in my family for no good reason given. Would never recommend this doctor.

My daughter was hurried through her appointment. She felt like the doctor did not listen to her concerns. After a few tests were ordered and completed, he told her what it was likely to be and offered no treatment options. We later found that there are several options for her condition. We have since gone to another practice that is helping her with treatment options.

Had a problem with test prep . Staff did not mail out instructions. Info given over the phone different from doctor's instructions. LuAnn very unprofessional about questions. Heard staff laughing about repeated calls to try to talk to Filipiak to get correct information. Unable to talk to Filipiak so canceled procedure. Never heard anything from Filipiak or staff.
